Our 16 year old 40 gallon hot water tank was at the end of its life when we purchased our home a few years ago. We called Button's to get a quote for a replacement. The total cost to remove the old rental unit and replace with a brand new John Wood 50 gallon water heater was $1100 including tax. A great deal conidering the comprehensive warranty and the fact we would no longer be paying rent on an aging and substandard heater. Thanks to Button's for their help! Time for a nice long hot shower!

This company was great from the moment I met the sales person at the home show two years ago. I have had the installation now for one year. After finding out my needs for a system, the person customized the perfect one for me and gave me all the reasons why. He answered all my questions with the level of detail that I required. Other companies tried to talk me out of what my actual needs were and some were even very rude. He even got the best rebates/programs on the equipment for me. No other company even mentioned rebates. This company followed all the building codes. I have serveral neighbours, that codes were not followed in regards to venting. One of them could have had some serious consequences. The installation went very well, they had work around some complications with minimal cuts to the ceiling, Other companies wanted to rip huge sections of ceiling out. They got high praise from my regular contract for how well they did their job. I went with a high end system because it was going to be worth it in the long run as I am not planning to be moving from my house. I have saved a lot of money since the installation and there never has been any problems.

Although furnace cleaning seems like a bit of a commodity, our experience is that some companies take more time than others. After a bad experience in which a different company skipped what Button's considered to be standared cleaning areas and causing a gas smell, Button's serviced the furnace properly. They have always been courtesy and clean. Top notch.

While visiting Our Homedepot I came aross the Trane/Button's advisor. I asked a few questions and agreed to have Pete come over to discuss our heating needs and how we could take advantage of some of the Government rebates. Pete phoned the next day and my wife and I made arrangements to meet the following day. Pete was great. Very knowledgeable, prompt, open to our questions. He answered all our questions. He knew our needs and our budget at the time. I did not feel pressured. We decided to proceed with the Trane Xc95m and made arrangments for the Energy Audit and the subsequent intallation a week later on Jan 23rd 2012. Todd and John showed up bright and early Monday morning shortly before 8:30 am. That was a good start in my books. They worked continously and was always willing to answer my questions as the worked progressed and did not mind when I critiqued their work ;-). There work was neat and tidy, wires tucked in neatly, drop clots laid, and the work area cleaned up after the job. They both would keep me in the loop as they progressed and pointed out import details that like the dirty, AC coils which they cleaned etc. Todd inquired about our Water heater which was almost 14 yrs old. We discussed the possibiltiy of replacing it. We ended up replacing our 40 gallon tank at the same time. The guys took the time to explain the new system and pointed out all the changes that were made. I was quite pleased with the whole experience and look forward to using Buttons for my yearly maintenance and warranty services. The price overall was somewhat higher than normal but I went with the TRANE reliability and the Button's experience in the business. Their years of experience and the fact that it was a family run business did show through in all aspects of the job from the start to the finish. I look forward to seeing the benefits/savings of my new furnace and water heater. Thanks Guys!!!!

I've used Button's Heating twice in the past couple years. Once in 2009 to install a new furnace, air conditioner & thermostat. The install was flawless and neat both on the interior and exterior. I am very picky and was happy with the way the installers cleaned up. The Trane units that were installed were extremely efficient and resulted in significant savings on both my natural gas and electricity bills. Don't skimp, by quality products. Most recently I bought a new home that is approx 25 years old. I had Button's in to inspect the HVAC system since I had some concerns. They did a thorough review and recommended some changes since even though the furnance was installed one year ago it was done sloppily with corners cut. I also wanted a new gas line installed for a new gas stove. All work was done quickly and neatly. I feel much better knowing that my HVAC system is now functioning properly and to its maximum capabilities. I look forward to having them back in the spring to fix my pool heater. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Button's. Finding a better HVAC company would be tough.

Our entire experience with Button's Heating was fantastic. They gave us information on the system options and we did not feel oversold at all. The quote was also very reasonable. Thomas was our service technician and he did run a bit slow, but he finished his job on schedule and before deadline. We recommended Button's Heating company to all friends and other customers!

Lori and I were very satisfied with Rick's factual non pressure sales presentation. Three installers Jonnathan, Todd and Trevor were friendly, kept the work sites clean and their workmanship was excellent. They completed the installation as if the house was their own. We received excellent instructions on the Programmable Comfort Control module. All of our questions were answered in detail. Our interactions with the installers were all positive. I used Button's Heating when purchasing a furnace , air conditioner.and also when I needed a chimney liner installed. Button's sell quality products and have very knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend this company. They care about the work they do and and their customers.

We had Button's Heating install a Trane high efficiency furnace and A/C unit at the beginning of August this year. We were very pleased with the entire process. Rick Lawson, the sales rep was a pleasure to deal with guiding us through the process and explaining how to go about applying for the government rebates. The installation crew was great, prompt, courteous and helpful. I particularly liked the fact that I had spoke to Rick regarding several aspects of the installation and it was very apparent that these instructions had been past onto the installation crew. The air conditioner and furnace are very quiet, almost silent compared to our old system. Overall we were very please with Button's Heating and would definitely recommend them.

We got a couple quotes for a new install of a high eff furnace, a/c, power vented hot water heater, air filtration system and humidifier. Button's Heating did a phenomenal job in all respects, from sales, installation and follow up. Todd's no pressure sales approach made us feel very comfortable and was able to meet with us despite our children's busy sports schedules. He explained everything in detail from the equipment to the government rebates that we are going to get. Always on time and always on point from the sales meetings to the installation days and follow up meeting. Even when our peaksaver thermostat was acting up they even called the peaksaver tech for us and waited for their service tech to come and fix the thermostat to make sure our whole system was running perfectly. Todd, Trevor and Jonathan, the installers, did a top notch job and Marcel was great in helping with trouble shooting the thermostat and providing great info on our ducts. Not only do they perform exceptional work but they are there for any questions or trouble that you may have regarding your HVAC system. I would definitely refer Button's Heating for all your home comfort needs.
