Our furnace gave up on us at the middle of night. Direct energy came and red tag the furnace. We checked the internet and called cosmopolitan 11pm and they give us the quote next day. The quote was very good and attractive. Next day Fred with his team came to our house and finished the installation in about 7 hours. He did a Very clean job. I would definitely recommend Cosmopolitan to all. Thanks

It took me a while to decide who I am going to do the installation with. I really did a market research before I made the decision. I started with four quotes that looked almost the same and had no idea who to go with. One of the quotes was from Cosmopolitan. Fahim came over to my house and after initial inspection he explained to me that it's not the equipment but the installation is the most important part. At the time I had no idea what is he talking about but latter on I understood that he was right. I gave the job to him. What help me make up my mind is the Fahim's honest attitude and good price.

I bought a new house in milton in spring of 2010. After reading reviews on Home Stars and recommendations from our family friends, we hired Cosmopolitan Mechanical to install our new A/C. I found their services to be exceptionally well from the process of signing the contract to receiving our post-installation paperwork. Our A/C performed really well during the whole summer. I wanted to get a humidifier installed now and called cosmopolitan again. Due to my busy work schedule, they were able to accomodate and scheduled the installation during the evening time. While the isntallation team was here, they informed me about having the benefits of a programmable thermostat. The thermostat I received from the builder was basic and was not programmable. I chose the touchscreen thermostat and now after having it programmed, I do not have to bother with changing the thermostat settings all the time. I am very pleased with the services of cosmopolitan mechanical and would recommend their professional team to any one. Keep up the good work.

Last week our six years old furnace was not working properly. We called many different companies for service. No one called us back for the servic job on furnace. However, Cosmpolitan technician gave us the apointment on the same day. The technician Behan came to our house for service on the given time. He took about one hour to service the furnace. He also changed the furnace filter. He also provided a lot of information regarding furnace maintance. We found cosmopolitan Mechanical tech very honest and reliable. The job consisted in installing a new furnace and ducting for a 1951 bungalow. Living in a house, without heating (only electrical radiators), in October, was not an easy situation to endure for our family. Arshad was very understanding and sympathetic to our situation, and, even though his schedule was very busy, he and his team managed to finalize the job in 2 days only (typical such job requires 3-4 day to complete), working long hours, including Saturday. He and Dave, worked diligently, making sure everything was done right, and as per my expectations. To my surprise, at the end of the first (long) day, the furnace was functional, and even though the entire ducting was not finalized, we enjoyed having the house heated during the night. Overall, working with Cosmopolitan/Arshad was a pleasant experience and I certainly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a new HVAC system.

After three years we are sill giving Cosmopolitan and its team 10 out of 10 rating. In 2007 Arshad installed our Heating and Cooling System. We were very happy with the job and recommended Cosmopolitan to all our friends. This years we called Cosmo again for servicing our furnace. We Still find this company very dedicated to there job. One more time After almost three years we found cosmopolitan and its employees very professional. Since the installation we had many questions regarding the system and every time we called Cosmopolitan,they returned our call promptly. They answered all our questions professionally.

Our furnace stop working in the late evening of friday, I called 3 companies out of which only cosmopolitan mechanical respond promptly and arranged to talk to the technician on phone, after trying to resolve the problem on phone he decided to come in and showed up in the time frame he specified. Spend about 55 minutes, change one part and get the furnace going, explain us the reason of part failure and give us beneficial tips to maintain the furnace and avoid problems in the future. Technician Behan from cosmopolitan came to our house for furnace cleaning. Before cleaning our furnace was not working efficiently. After the cleaning we noticed a huge difference in our air flow. We found technician Behan very professional and reliable and we will recommend him to everyone.

Our house had only electric heating (baseboards) so we decided to change that and install a forced air system. Of course to do this we needed to have ducts installed throughout as there were no ducts in the house before. We chose Cosmopolitan for this job and we are glad we did. I should mention that there were actually a few companies (some that are highly rated here on homestars) that didn't even want to give us an estimate on this job but on the contrary were trying to convince us that it's not a good idea and it would be too much damage to the house. We just renovated the whole house before we started this job (don't ask why we did it in this order) and we were very picky about the possible damages. But we were impressed by the way Cosmopolitan managed to protect the house and do as least damages as possible. There was minimal damage on the 1st and 2nd level, aside from one duct going through a closet and another one in a bedroom’s corner – which I have already boxed in. Practically there is no more evidence of the job that was done in any of the 2 levels above ground. Communication was very good. Arshad never missed any of my phone calls (and there were quite a few of them) and I also talked to the rest of the crew quite a few times. They were very attentive to my requests. Both heating and cooling are pretty even throughout our 2 storey house. Second floor is maybe 1/2 degree cooler than downstairs in cold season (but very even in all rooms though) while in the summer there's about 1/2 degree warmer upstairs (again all rooms the same). I can measure that as I have digital thermostats in all the rooms in the house - as a result of having electric heating before this. The crew was led by Patrick who is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. He always tried his best to accommodate any of our requests. I should also mention that we applied for permit to the city for this HVAC work. The inspector that came to see what was done was very, very impressed – especially on the quality of the work and the very little damage (considering the type of job). He says that he goes to many places to inspect similar jobs only to find that the houses were butchered in the process. We were very happy with Cosmopolitan and we would definitely choose them again.
