After we purchased a 15-year old resale home, the inspection report recommended that original AC should be replaced. Invited a number of companies after researching product reviews for A/Cs. I also checked the consumer reports which did not helped me a lot. Came to the conclusion that if you select a reliable brand, the next most important thing was the quality of the installer.
Because of the complex nature of the installation, Peter made sure we would be satisfied with the work before he began. Unlike some of the other HVAC companies we interviewed, peter walked us through the job step by step, explaining the equipment, workmanship, and cost. While his company was not the lowest bid, his detailed quote and deep explanation gave us the confidence in our due diligence.
On the day of the install, Peter and his crew showed up on time and worked according to schedule. At the end of the project, the work area was immaculate and we had a nice system that should last us another 30 years. Before peter left, he gave us the quality control certificate, reviewed basic maintenance and operating procedures, and scheduled a preventative service call in a year's time.
After few days we received all our rebate papers from the company in the mail. Which was a great job from there side.
After running the system over the winter, we've noticed an appreciable improvement in indoor air quality and our gas bill has nose-dived. Definitely a worthwhile investment and I would definitely refer cosmopolitan mechanical services to friends and family.
