I have used ExpressRooter Plumbing for a number of years, and I always ask for my favourite plumber, Vladimir. Vladimir managed to keep my old toilet running a lot longer than it should have, but I eventually realized I had to ‘bite the bullet’ and buy a new one. I ordered one from Home Depot, but they had to order it into the store. When they called me to say it was in, I called ExpressRooter to install it. I live alone and have no car, so I had no way to pick up the toilet. Vladimir offered to pick up the toilet for me (at no charge) and do the install. It’s this kind of attention that keeps me using ExpressRooter Plumbing.

We put down a new floor in the bathroom and when the toilet was re-installed, there was a pipe that was leaking. Thankfully it was not a huge leak but it was still a concern. CONS: Seems expensive. Almost $400 for a plastic part and 30 minutes of work? Well, and also the know-how, I get that. But I'm thinking I joined the wrong profession! PROS: I called on Monday morning around 9:30 and they were able to schedule someone between 10 and 12. He arrived around 10 and was very friendly and helpful and took care of things quickly. Nice dry floor!

We noticed that we were having a leak at the base of our toilet. Our neighbours had used Expressrooter Plumbing and recommended them. We called late in the day and Vlad arrived at our home the next morning. He showed us how the toilet was actually rocking. He removed the toilet and found that the flange the toilet was resting on was cracked all the way through. He cut out the old flange, installed a new one and put in a new wax ring. He explained everything every step of the way. Our toilet is now sturdy and leak free. Thank you Vlad.

We were constantly finding water on our basement floor and could not figure out what was causing it. We would clean it and it would be back again the next day. We checked our laundry tub and ran our washing machine and that didn’t seem to be the problem. We decided to call someone in. We checked Homestars and decided on Express Rooter Plumbing. The person on the phone was very helpful and we arranged an appointment for the same day. It took no time at all for the plumber to figure out that our old cast iron stack had corroded and needed replacement. He cut out the old stack from the first floor ceiling down to the basement floor and replaced it with a new plastic stack. He tied in all of the drains into the new stack and we haven’t had a problem since. I was impressed with how fast he figured out the problem, and how fast it was to fix it. I will definitely call Express Rooter Plumbing again if we have any more plumbing issues.

My family came back from a weekend away to find our basement flooded with sewage. We called several companies looking for help, but ExpressRooter promised someone at our house within the hour, so we gave them a try. Jason came, unclogged our drain and did a camera inspection. He showed us that our drains were full of roots and collapsed. He recommended fixing the broken part of the pipe and installing a back water valve to prevent any future floods. Jason showed up the next morning with some workers and they had our drain fixed and the back water valve installed the next day. Jason took care of all the permits and helped us apply to the city for a rebate on the work done. I would recommend Jason and ExpressRooter plumbing!

We recently bought new kitchen cabinets and when we went to install them we found that we could not because the water pipes were too far out. We called ExpressRooter and Tony arrived right on time. He explained the options to us, and gave us the price before he started the work. He was finished the same afternoon and we were able to install our new cabinets the next morning. I TRIED TO INSTALL A NEW TOILET AND MANAGED TO DAMAGE THE COPPER PIPE CAUSING A LEAK. I CALLED EXPRESSROOTER AND THEY HAD A PLUMBER AT MY DOOR WITHIN AN HOUR. NOT ONLY DID THE PLUMBER REPAIR THE DAMAGE I CAUSED, HE INSTALLED EMERGENCY SHUTOFF VALVES FOR BOTH MY TOILET AND MY BATHROOM SINK. HE WAS VERY FAST AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. NEXT TIME I’LL CALL EXPRESSROOTER BEFORE TRYING SOMETHING ON MY OWN!

We had tree roots growing into our sewer that resulted in backed up drains. This was discovered on a Sunday afternoon and ExpressRooter was on site, clearing the drain within an hour on the Sunday afternoon. The technician showed us exactly where the problem was, and had a crew in over the next 2 days to replace clay pipe with PVC and complete the job. The whole experience was professional and communication was constant throughout the process. Not that I'd wish it on anyone, but if your drains back up than this is the Plumbing Service to call!

We recently purchased new home and although we had home inspection done, we were advised to get our drain scoped with camera. I noticed ExpressRooter had promotion on their website for drain inspection and decided to give them a call. Dispatcher was very accommodating and worked with our busy schedule to book a technician that fits our busy lifestyle. Jamey, company representative, arrived the next day and gave us full diagnose of our drainage. He was very honest and despite minor issues he recommended to power flush the pipes instead of replacing them. Honesty goes a long way and we are very happy for choosing this company.
