We were experiencing a leak from the toilet in the top floor main bathroom toilet and though it may be something "BAD" as it was leaking through the bathroom floor and through the ceiling in the kitchen below. We also had a similar experience from the en-suite bathroom upstairs, but this time the leak was with the stand-up shower. We called on Good Friday (when most places were closed and were thrilled to find the ExpressRooter was open for business. I explained our situation to the friendly dispatcher, she informed me that they were really just doing emergency calls today (more than understandable for a stat-holiday), I informed her that it was NOT an emergency, but she was able to slide us into the schedule for just a few hours from the time of my call. We were VERY pleased! Not only that, but we received a call an hour before the scheduled visit find that the Tech could come sooner! BONUS! when the Tech arrived he was professional, courteous and full of friendly advice. He assessed the issues quickly, informed us of the simple fix for the issue with the toilet and then provided us with steps for determining EXACTLY where the leak in the en-suite shower was coming from. He also provided us with some general tips on "good plumbing habits" which I was completely unaware of. So bonus marks there!!! The assessment took a total of about 15 minutes, and with the information provided was HAPPY to pay the $75.00 assessment fee.
My ONLY "complaint" is that I was not informed of the $75.00 charge up front. I STILL would have booked the visit and STILL would have happily paid for the assessment, but knowing the minimum cost going in would have been the cherry on top of an otherwise GREAT first experience!
I would recommend Express Rooter to ANYONE! And WILL! :)
