we just recently moved into our new home and unknown to us we discovered an existing water issue in the basement. Through research express rooter seemed to be the most reputable company so I gave them a call. Within a few hours Jamey came by our house to investigate. He was very thorough and walked me through all the telltale signs of an existing issue which was not initially picked up via home inspection. Luckily we did not finish the basement yet but it was and still is on our "to do" list. We decided to proceed with the full repair and the next day just past 8am there were a few crews that showed up. 2 days after my initial call the work was complete and the work site was broom swept and they kept everything clean by wrapping the areas with our belongings off. They walked me through the finished product and answered every question I had with kindness and professionalism. I have chosen all my contractors via homestars and have been fortunate every time. The cost of doing a bad job is more than doing it right the first time - not just a slogan but a good life lesson. I would not hesitate to recommend or use express rooter again and am thankful to have found a reliable professional company. Another thing to add, they are NEVER LATE - they respect your time and get the job done ahead of schedule. Big thanks to Jamey Leger and team for an outstanding job.

The kitchen drain pipe was leaking in the garage. I had contacted few companies and all of them asked me to locate the source of the leak in order to save cost. I did that and found the source of the leak. After going through several companies, I decided to call ExpressRooter Plumbing to have it fixed. They were very professional and courteous over the phone. No pressure. Matt from ExpressRooter Plumbing showed up on time. He reviewed the leak source and fully explained to me what he was going to do to fix the problem. Matt also answered all questions in a very polite and courteous manner to my satisfaction. In the end I decided to fix the repair myself. I am currently dealing with the builder to have the entire drain pipe replaced or reimburse me the costs if I have it replaced myself. Based on my experience with Matt from ExpressRooter Plumbing, I will definitely be calling them again for replacing it, if that is the option I have to go with. I would like to personally thank Matt for his professionalism and pleasant manners. Keep up the good work ExpressRooter Plumbing team.

We realized that we had a problem on the Saturday before Christmas. Called Rooter Router Plumbing. Response was prompt and work was efficiently done. Very pleased with the service and support that we received.

Had an issue with the sewer drain backing up last Sunday. Was in a bit of a panic because this had the potential to ruin my finished basement. Looked up the first google result and called John at Express Rooter(happened to be the Pickering branch) who gave me an ETA of 2 hours for the tech to arrive. Matt McMillan the tech arrived much sooner, was completely transparent about the pricing and very empathetic to my situation. He answered all questions patiently, was very reassuring and shared his experiences on how to handle this situation if it ever happened again. He cleared the drain in a matter of minutes and made sure the dripping equipment did not mess up the house on the way out. Great guy very personable and wonderful to deal with.

Vlad from ExpressRooter Plumbing was a true professional, clean, hard working and honest. I would recommend him and ExpressRooter in a heart beat for any of your home plumbing needs.

Andrew arrived on time and immediately explained what the problem could be and options to fix it. He even took the time to suggest items to help prevent this problem in the future. He did a great job very quickly and cleaned up afterward. I'd definitely use ExpressRooter again and would recommend them to friends. Thanks Andrew!

***Sorry previously posted this to Mr. Rooter - will take down once I can as it was wrong Company No issue w/ quality or competency of work, although $600 to reset a toilet (ended up being broken wax ring) is stupid high, but I was stuck at that point. Issue was plumbers comments on my house (of course old/downtown Toronto), insinuated a few times I had bought a lemon and questioned why I had bought? Tried a few times to scare me about replacing my stack in the future. "You'd better save up for it". I'm okay w/ honest advise, but not in manner it was done. Secondly, cashing/processing my cheque 1 month after the work was done was an annoyance as well.

We have used Express Rooter in the past and the work they do is excellent. This is why we called again. Our tech this time was Andrew and he was pleasant, professional and thorough. He explained that the IKEA parts did not meet code and suggested changes to bring it at least closer to code than it might have been. While we were aware of the cost before work started, upon reflection I thought it was excessive and called the company. Melissa explained how the cost was derived. It broke down to 2 flat rate jobs plus parts. 1) Cut back supply lines and install shut off valves 2) Cut back and move copper drain and attach P trap. Rather than 2 jobs, why not have 1 such as Plumb sink? Our previous score was 10! I would recommend them to anyone. But please understand, they are not the least expensive way to go! Express Rooter called me at 11:00 a.m. on 09/12/2014 to discuss the contents of my latest review. We arrived at a very satisfactory solution to both my concerns and their desire to maintain a strong score with HOMESTARS. As a result, I have improved my score from 7 to 10. They are proud of the Homestars score and their company. THEY SHOULD BE!

we called on saturday technician came on time and help us to installed new bathroom vanity.. it was few issues with the existing drain , which was resolved very quickly..

Jamey and his crew were fabulous. They worked hard and did a very high quality job. They kept me informed throughout the process bringing everything of significance to my attention so we could jointly agree on the work plan as surprizes were uncovered. They kept to their schedule and price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
