We decided to renovate our basement and wanted to make sure that the main sewer line was in good shape to avoid any surprises in the future. Jason from Express Rooter was very friendly and gave us honest advice about what we needed to do and what we should probably do. Our pipe was clay and had shifted in some areas, we also needed to install a dual clean out. We decided to replace the clay pipe and we were also able to rough in new pipes for the new bathroom at the same time. The team that did the work were fast, and left our basement cleaner than when they started (even though we were in the middle of a reno and it was a mess!)

We relaized there was a leak from our main bath on the May 18 the Victoria Day long weekend. I immediately called Express rooter and was advised that they will have a technician out after the holiday as they were very busy. As promised Rob showed up at 8:30am on Tuesday May 19th to take a look at the problem. He was very polite and courteous. He explained everything before he proceeded and troubled shooted every possible cause for the leak. Once the problem was identified he showed us and replaced the part. Once the job was completed he verified it was working well with no leaks and cleaned up everything. We were very impressed and pleased with the professionaliosm Rob carried out his job. During a deck installation, we noticed that the weeping system may have been damaged and we were concerned about future flooding. I contacted Express Rooter to have a look at the system and to make recommendations. The receptionist was courteous and professional and set up the appointment for the following day. The following morning, I got a call from the company to advise that the worker would be arriving within 15 minutes. Jason arrived shortly afterward and discussed options and costs and the pro and cons of carrying out the inspection. Ultimately, we agreed that it was appropriate to scope the system with a camera and we were able to arrive at an accurate and inexpensive diagnosis. Jason made further recommendations that in all likelihood have saved us $1000s and have eased our concerns. We couldn't be happier with the level of honesty, professionalism and caring! Truly exceptional service. We have been burned before and thankfully had the good fortune of being saved by Mike Holmes. We do not want to be burned again! It is no surprise that this company was the contractor to the Mike Holmes show.

Was very happy with every aspect of the pretty major repairs required to my upstairs bathroom toilet. From the cheery voice that took my initial call, to the call to see if they could show up a bit earlier, to the friendly and competent plumber that did the work, to the successful completion of the job. Will be sure to recommend and use again as needed.

While replacing a basement toilet discovered that main drain was leaking. Jason at ExpressRooter came that same day scoped the drain showing the damage, also he was able to map out most of the drainage system. The crew showed up, on time, the following morning and the job was completed that day. The service was great and the work was excellent. Jason is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to call them again.

My basement started to flood on Wednesday night. I spoke to Jason on the phone and he agreed to come out the next day. Jason called first and was on time. He was professional and very honest about options. He explained the situation very well. The next day, the crew arrived (on time) and did the work in the time they said it would take. They were extremely neat - you would never know that the front garden had been dug up. At one point, I had to call the office. The woman I spoke with was great - very helpful and clear. We have done renovations in the past and I always expect the worst. This was a great experience and I would recommend this company to anyone who had similar problems.

Firstly, sorry for the delay in posting this. Jason came to our house after we had had a flood in the basement. Before we replaced the drywall, baseboard and laminate floor we had ripped out we wanted to be sure it wouldn't happen again. Our worst fear was cracks in the foundation which would be very expensive to repair. Jason advised us on the probable cause and told us that I could fix it myself for less than $20 !! He also told me that if that didn't work there were other probable fixes that would be much cheaper than foundation work. So far the $20 fix is working and my fingers are crossed. He even told me how to fix a slow draining sink in my bathroom, again saving me the expense of having a professional do it (he was right - it was really easy to fix). Service and honesty like this is very refreshing. I would not hesitate to call these people again and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

It is great to find a tradesperson you can trust without having prior experience with them. I highly recommend Express Rooter. Jason worked with me to find what caused the problem, explained what he was doing from start to finish and also demonstrated the results of his work once he was finished. I was aware that the potential for a very costly job was possible. We could have had broken sewer pipe that needed replacing. It happens all too often that a company will take advantage of those fears and because they know they're the expert they can say and do whatever they want and charge you unnecessary costs. Jason got right to the problem, allayed our fears and fixed it thoroughly and honestly. I will call them back when I need plumbing done.

Blockage was pouring water in the basement at every rain. Express Rooter found the blockage with the 'scope. It was expensive to dig down, but the problem was essentially solved in a day. Too bad I didn't do it years ago when it started. Thanks.

After many years of putting off major repairs on our kitchen sink, we finally decided to take Mike Holmes' advice and set out to find a good plumbing company.
