The crew from Express Rooter were amazing. Not only did they get the job done in less time than was quoted, there was a minimal amount of disruption to my landscaped front garden. They even replanted one of my ornamental bushes that had been removed during the digging process. I would highly recommend them over the competition!

Our thanks and recommendation to Express Rooter Plumbers for the method that master plumber Martin uses with all his staff and professionally qualified plumbers. On the job, they first of all determine the cause of the problem. (It seemed to me that our bathtub was leaking although I couldn’t demonstrate where it was leaking.) Martin, however, said that they always start with the basics. They investigated the problem and found out how the water was getting behind the wall. It turned out to be only a minor problem after all. Water was leaking down the shower wall behind the fixtures which had never been secured to the tiled wall. Martin confirmed this by getting a view of water running down behind the wall, which was not easy to do in our location. Express Rooter discovered the cause of the problem then recommended their solution. We are now very happy we called Express Rooter Plumbers. I had basement wall and carpet of my basement office wet for two days not knowing if it is due to waterproofing problem or drain related issue. Martin (Master Plumber) was at my door shortly after call was placed to the office, and within couple of minutes of his investigation he was able to get to the bottom of the problem. He then took his time to explain that primer line from the laundry faucet that runs to the floor drain is cracked and every time faucet is turned on, small volume of water is leaking out within the wall. Problem was quickly rectified at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this company without a hesitation.

We had a Martin and Adam come in to help out with a rough in for a 3 piece bathroom and a laundry room in the basement. I broke up the concrete and dug the trench to save some $$ on the manual labour side of things. Martin worked with me to accomodate my schedule on fairly short notice. The work was completed on time as scheduled. They were very professional, answering my questions and explaining why they were doing things the way they did. They understood the importance of doing the work to code while taking into the account the design elements of the job. Both he and Adam were a pleasure to deal with and I have already referred them to neighbours. I will call them again if I have plumbing issues in the future. They are very knowledgeable people who are up front and honest.

Only company I could get to come out within an hour, despite other's so called "emergency service". Found the problem, fixed it immediately and at a reasonable price. Thanks. I would call them again in a second, and recommend to friends.

This company has worked on my house on 3 seperate ocassions. The were excellent from the consoltations to the services performed and the post follow-ups. If I ever need plumbing work done on my home again, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to call them. No wonder Mike Holmes trusts these guys:)

I was impressed with Martin from the moment he entered our property. I felt his quote for our basement work was quite fair. And Express Rooter did an exceptional job excavating our basement and addressing our "not to code" drain issue. There was no evidence of any mess after the guys wrapped up for the day. As a bonus, they also stepped up and completed our city paperwork (for a the city rebate). No question, these guys are professional. However, the work we had done at the front of the property did seem expensive. We were quoted $2499 and our neighbor, who had the same work done a month or two before, paid about $700 less. Perhaps the jobs weren't equivalent. But our situation was that we just wanted to get the work done...while the crew was on the premise (they were wrapping up the basement work). I would definitely recommend Express Rooter again as they are above and beyond professional. But I would get multiple quotes for future projects and ask for additional information on the calculation of any supplier's quote (if it was significantly higher than comparable competition (e.g. another company offering a similar warranty on parts and labour). Just a slight caveat.

I had approximately 50 feet of sanitary drain inside and 75 feet outside that needed to be replaced due to aging and tree roots. I had many estimates from various companies ranging in price and scope of work. I decided to go with ExpressRooter because they are affiliated with Mike Holmes and considering magnitude of the work, I wanted to deal with professional company that has reputation and good track record. Martin Wroblewski who is Master Plumber and Mechanical Engineer was project coordinator who took his time and kept me updated throughout the entire excavation process. The work took several days, with eight guys working very hard and barely taking any breaks in constant heat and humidity. At the end, I was pleasantly surprised of how clean the place was with grass replaced and cement nicely finished in the basement. What’s also very important is that this company provided me with insurance, license, and clearance certificate from WSIB before they put a shovel in the ground. That’s professional service and piece of mind.

I called ExpressRooter because my stack was leaking on the main floor every time I used upstairs bathroom. Service technician arrived within hours to diagnose the problem and provided estimate for stack replacement. Martin and Adam, two master plumbers, arrived the next day to replace my stack from upper level down to the basement. They finished the work within a day and were very clean and professional. I found Express Rooter in the Yellow Pages and was drawn by their connection to Holmes on Homes. Bob Wallbank the technician was courteous and professional. He explained everything he was doing and why. He went above and beyond by replacing worn and damaged parts that were not part of my original call. I would definitely recommend them highly.
