    Replacements Windows for My Home

    I was thrilled with the product and service that I received from Clera Windows and Doors. They replaced 9 windows and 1 door. Dealing with Vito to determine my needs and budget was very pleasant. He is honest and easy to understand. Drew was in charge of installation and it was well organized and took place in one day. The quality of the replacement windows is superior.

    Clera Windows Have a Good Product

    The windows themselves are well built and quality material. We had some issues with getting repairs done under the warranty in a timely manner but nothing major. When we did manage to get things fixed the final job looked good and the gentlemen that made the fixes were professional and did a great job.

    WINDOW REPLACEMENT/WARRANTY

    We have been a customer of Clera Windows and Doors (formerly FM Windows and Doors) since 2000, and I can tell you they stand by their product and warranty. Needing new windows in our old home, we called for an appointment, and Todd, who is still with Clera came to our home. He explained their product and warranty and gave us a quote. Todd is very friendly and not a pushy salesman. His quote was lower than any we received and decided to use his company. The installation team was friendly, fast and efficient. Not only did the windows change the appearance of my our house, but the savings in my gas bill has paid for the windows many times over. It is only now that we have had a problem with a couple small windows, and had a couple broken screws on the window cranks. I happened to catch Todd leaving a neighbors after a sales call and asked him to come and have a look. Most salesman would tell you to make an appointment. He immediately came to my home, looked at the windows and assured me the windows would be covered under the warranty. He also gave me new cranks. I was sure after 16 years I was going to have a warranty problem, but they stand by their product and their word. I would recommend Clera Windows and Doors without hesitation. How can you beat this service after 16 years.

    new outside door

    Had house windows replaced 3 years ago,was very impressed with the whole experience. Called my friend John this past spring to see about a new outside back door.As our little house is open concept the door had to be the right one. John helped me make the perfect choice.So very pleased with the neat and tidy install, the two men did a perfect job ,they were friendly and I would have them back again.Maybe next year for a new front door??.     Window and door replacement.

    From the time we met with Rodney until the windows and front door were installed by Yuri and his helper every thing went without a hitch. We're very satisfied with both the quality and service that Clera provided. Tina & Dannie

    Entire house - windows and doors

    3 of our windows have been leaking (by leaking I mean running down our walls puddling on the floor - I have video and pictures of several separate occurances) since June. Still not fixed - they've been a few times to spray foam around them - because that's water proof. They tried telling us it was our roof - we proved that wrong by jumping through hoops for them by doing a 'sprinkler test' many times. We had no issue with our old windows. We have asked several times to speak to someone in charge, that is yet to happen. On Wednesday we were told there was a meeting that this would be brought up with the owner Vito (who we've been waiting to hear from since September ) regarding our issues. Still no word from that, we were told maybe an inspector will come out and decide who's problem this is (because if certainly couldn't be the installer that caused this by ripping out our old ones and replacing them. In the mean time our dog has plenty of rain water to lap up inside our house. Another issue we've been waiting on since installation in May- 3 sliding doors do not match in colour to the rest of the windows. 'Vito' was supposed to contact us regarding that according to Steve our sales guy... still waiting on that call! We've been more than patient and understanding.. we just want what we paid for and windows that don't leak. There were many issues from the start that you did resolve but this is ridiculous. I noticed Clera actually responds on here (they certainly don't at their head office where I left a message on Sunday ) maybe someone will call now besides Steve who clearly can't help us. Winters coming .... so glad we bought these new energy efficient windows we can help keep the outside a little warmer with !

    Window Replacment

    I've used Clera to replace windows for two homes. Each time they were extremely professional and the entire process from the initial sales consultation to installation went smoothly. I would use them again and will definitely recommended them to anyone.

    Replaced windows

    Excellent company to deal with. Staff was very friendly and was prompt at coming out and giving us a quote. Their prices were the lowest of all the quotes we received and they delivered an excellent product. They were very helpful with answering all our questions and really understood what we needed. The installation team was very fast and efficient, and very friendly. The finish work on the trim was great, and they did an excellent job at cleaning up before they left. A++ in our books, will be glad to refer them!!

    5 bedroom windows, 1 Bay window and Patio Slider Door

    Clera did a great job supplying and installing our quality windows and patio door. John, our Clera Representative, explained his products and services at our initial consultation and he delivered on time and on budget. Trevor and his install team were quick , efficient and looked after removing the old windows in a very clean manner. I have already recommended Clera to several people I know . Great work guys!!

    Window and sliding door install in Townhouse

    I had all my windows (townhouse, so not a super big job) and sliding door replaced two weeks ago by Clera. One of the windows had to be enlarged and that part of the job was stressing me out. So far, I am very pleased with the installation done by Yuri and his team. They removed and re-installed the shutters in the master bedroom (other companies would not do that). Yuri even asked me for the width of the blind in one room to make sure it would fit after the trim was installed. Yuri and one of his teammate came back, as promised, to fix the capping on the enlarged window. So far, I am pleased with the look of the windows and how they operate. Time will tell if I will remain satisfied. One thing which I am grateful for is that the installation was done on a Friday and Saturday to minimize my time away from work. When he came for measurements, Yuri said he might be able to accommodate a weekend install and he kept his word. But I had to remind the salesperson many times that this was important to me and to please make this happen if possible. The windows were ordered in June and installed at the beg of Oct. In August and September, I tried to contact the salesperson may times to zoom in on an install date. I was not pleased that I had to chase him by phone or text. I found he was getting back to me before the sale but was pretty much ignoring me afterwards. I ended up having to say that I would call head office to find out what was going on for him to text me back that same evening with an install date. I told him many times that it was frustrating not hearing back from him and that made no difference and he did not apologize. The salesperson came to check that everything was ok during the installation but by that point, I had been quite frustrated with him and could not care less if he was there or not. To summarize: my experience with the sales person is not positive but my experience with the installers was great (pleasant to deal with, I could tell they cared about their jo). And so far, I like the look of the windows, including the new bigger one, and how they operate. I might recommend Clera in the future, Yuri and his team, but not the salesperson (Scarborough area). The least that a salesperson can do is return texts and calls, if only to say they will get back to you a little later with better info. Ignoring a customer, is never a good idea. Note: If it wasn't for the sub par experience with the salesperson, my rating would have been at least a 9.
