Hoerners technician, James, was professional and personable. He fixed a poorly installed toilet in 1/2 hour and left the washroom clean. I received a profile with a bio and picture before arrival and paid electronically at the price quoted. I would use these guys again.

This review is a pleasure to write. I have had Hoerner Heating come to my house on several occasions and each time was worthy of a 10 star rating. On Dec. 23rd 2019 I called their emergency line because my thermostat had broken and the heat in the house was dropping. I think it was the coldest night of the year and it was 10:30 p.m. Derek called me to let me know that he would be coming over to replace the thermostat but he lived in Oakville and had been on call all evening and it would take him 45 minutes to get here. And he did. Derek is a gentleman, friendly, knowledgable, hard working and he smiled. When he finished, it was around 12:30 and then he had to drive home to Oakville. What great service! I will always use Hoerner Heating and Plumbing. The office staff are also amazing. Robyn, Tracey, Kim and Angel. We called Hoerner to fix a toilet this time around. We used this company to install a backwater valve, fix a hand shower and install a toilet. They provided good workmanship, reasonable prices and were very effective.

I’ve been using Hoerner Heating & Plumbing for almost a decade and I’m always impressed with their service. From the office team to the trade professionals, everyone is really is so knowledgeable, passionate and caring. I really love that this is a local, family business where everybody always has your back and treats you as if you are an important member of the family. I recently became a landlord and even my tenants are impressed with how genial everyone at Hoerner is. Most importantly for me is how responsive they are when I need them and how quickly and thoroughly they asses the issue, find a solution and complete the work in the most cost effective manner. They even give me tips on how to avoid similar issues in the future. It’s never fun to need to call a plumber but it brings me comfort knowing I have “ Hoerner in my corner”! (I literally just thought of that lol)

Fantastic job with tricky replacement of original cast iron drain stack that had cracked. The team also managed to replace clay basement floor drains with ABS without having to break up the tiled and heated floor in the bath. Prompt, clear communications and great attitude from the entire team throughout the 4 day job

If you are planning on replacing your boiler, be sure to get quotes from a number of reputable suppliers. Hoerner quoted me $20,000(!!!!) to replace my Viessmann boiler while L**rds quoted $9500 to install the EXACT SAME BOILER. A savings of over $10,000 for the same job! What lead to me replacing my boiler was an $800 repair done by Hoerner that broke down every week for the following three weeks. When L**rd looked at the repair, they told me Hoerner had replaced the wrong part. NEVER EVER CALL HOERNER IF YOU HAVE BOILER PROBLEMS!!

From start to finish, Hoerner provided excellent and professional service. I was helped on the phone by Kim and Robyn. When they had to reschedule my appointment because they had to respond to real emergencies with burst pipes, they waived the dispatch fee. Then 2 plumbers came to my house. Yes 2 ;-). Mario and Cameron. I knew there would be a problem with fixing my hose bib and I was right. Mario quickly determined that the pipe for the hose bib is buried behind drywall. And the stem in the hose bib is old and there is no replacement part. I was feeling desperate until Cameron came up with a solution. Mario and Cameron quickly installed the solution, and tested to make sure there are no leaks anywhere. My hose bib is now back into action. I really appreciate Mario and Cameron's attention to details, creative thinking, and professionalism. Both of them would take the time to explain what they are doing, show me what they have done, and tested everything before they left. This is the second time I have used Hoerner, and they are consistent in providing reliable service. I will definitely continue to use them for my plumbing and HVAC needs.

I have used Hoerner Plumbing twice in 2019, and in both instances, I was pleased with the work. On the first occasion, faucets were changed in both bathrooms. Recently, they came to resolve a leak on the outside faucet so that my hose could be removed for the winter. The issue didn't get resolved on the first visit, but Mario and Matt did some research and were able to come up with a solution, without having to cut a hole in the basement wall. Special thanks to both. It is a relief and a pleasure to deal with a company who answers the phone and makes appointments efficiently.
