This is my second year with Hometurf, first year was ok. Started reading the Homestar reviews and saw a theme around services being billed but not performed or careless work caught on security footage. Naturally, it got me thinking so I too reviewed my security footage for the first visit of the year last week.
To my shock, many of those posters were correct. I paid extra for Compost of which the service record stated it was performed that day, but my footage shows otherwise. Then for my backyard, it shows the employee going up one strip right in the middle and that was considered done (no more than a 15 second job). Wow ??
I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and will watch again on your next visit, at which point in time, the rating will be adjusted up or down.
So note to all, if you have security footage or are at home, take a peek to give yourself peace of mind. I for sure did not expect to see what I saw.
Now, I know a Company Response will be posted around, we are sorry, please call us to make it better etc etc. That is not the point. The point is paid services should be performed and top notch as well. Customers should not have to prove to you that the service was not supplied.
So again, thanks to technology people can see what's happening when they are not home. Suggest you fully provide services, else there will be more of these negative reviews.
