    Lawn Care Service

    2017 was my first year with Hometurf Lawn Care, having switched from another company I had been with for a few years after experiencing degrading performance. I do not hesitate to say that I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from Homecare. My lawn stayed green and healthy, and relatively weed-free throughout the season. I have already renewed for 2018, feeling confident that I will receive the same great service next year. I would strongly recommend Homecare to anyone in need of lawn care service.

    Lawn Service

    I have used Home Turf Lawn Care for approximately five years. They always call prior to attending the next day. My grass is a challenge as I am on a corner lot. It definitely looks better than my neighbour's lawn across the street! Occasionally they have applied weed control in the morning, then it rains in the afternoon. A call to them always results in a re- application.

    Hometurf Complete Program

    We renewed our contract with Hometurf Lawn Care again this fall for next year. Two years ago we signed up in order to control weeds and have the proper fertilizer applied by a professional lawn care service company. Our lawn has been healthier and the weeds are much less common. Combined with the cooler and wetter weather our grass thickened up a lot this past summer and the lawn mower got its workout cutting the lawn every week since May as well! Its important to note that as a home owner I still have lots to do around the yard through the spring, summer and fall and that by using the Hometurf's lawn care service time spent weeding has been reduced significantly.

    Lawn Care

    Excellent lawn care - we border on conservation lands, so weeds are an issue for us. The only negative was that it was very late in the spring when the lawn was aerated.

    Lawn Care

    I used Hometurf services for this year and have signed up for next year services too. Their services have made my lawn grow into a green lush lawn with no weeds. They also provide new grass seeds program and fertilizer services. I recommend their services to everyone looking for a lush green lawn

    Backyard looks great. Front yard hasn't changed much.

    We used Hometurf for the first time this year with the Complete package. We also received a free over-seeding when we signed up. After 1 season, our backyard looks great! We noticed the biggest difference after the first weed application. Our front yard hasn't seen much of an improvement unfortunately. While the dandelions were eliminated, there are other weeds that did not react to their weed application. They did come once while we were home and it looked like they were very thorough (we could also tell this from the aeration and fertilizer applications). We were told when we signed up that they would call the day prior to application but we never received any calls.This wasn't a huge issue but it was a pain if we were late cutting our grass because then we couldn't cut for a few more days. We also found that they never shut the backyard gate when they left (we don't have dogs, but we still don't leave our gates open). We did sign up for a 2nd season, the few minor annoyances weren't enough to dissuade us, and are hopeful the front yard looks as good as the backyard.

    Lawn care

    We recently renewed our contract with Hometurf Lawn Care for the following year. We had switched our lawn care service to Hometurf about 3 years ago because our previous provider was very pushy about adding extra services to our program that we were not interested in. We have never had this experience with Hometurf. They offer extra services upon renewal but it has never been pushed upon us. They take more of a soft sell approach. We actually added an extra service this year to try it out. They do a good job and our neighbour commented on how nice our lawn looks.

    Great Lawn Care - Your Should Sign Up!

    I've used a lawn care service for years because it makes such a difference in your lawn - you can tell which lawns on every street use a service and which weed filled lawns don't.     Lawn fertilizer services

    Excellent service!!! Also give a days notice ! Professional, they also provide a newsletter every time with tips for lawn care ! They also leave great instructions for watering and blade cut height after treatment.

    First year great; second year not good

    UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: Renewed for another season of the same service, and it was not the same quality as all. I was particularly annoyed at seeing fertilizer and grass seed in my kids’ sandbox and on my vegetable garden. Overall just not the same as the previous year. What happened? ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our lawn was really in need of some TLC this year, after a few years of very minimal maintenance. Though we usually found the time to mow the lawn, we didn't have time for all the "extras" like fertilizer, weed control and overseeding. Eventually, the lack of maintenance started to show, and early this spring I noticed that the lawn was partly dead, covered in holes because of grubs, over-run with weeds, and not looking very good overall. I went online to look for lawn-care service, and luckily found Hometurf. I signed up for their Complete package, plus an extra application of granular compost. After signing up, the service was very convenient and reliable. I would arrive home to find a sign that said "Your lawn was treated today" and hanging on the doorknob was a checklist itemizing what had been done, including a running list of all the services included in the package and the dates they were completed. I really liked being kept up to date without having to invest much time or effort. Now, the lawn looks considerably better than it did at the beginning of the season - the grub holes are gone, the lawn is thick and green, and the weeds have been reduced by about 70%. I've signed up for the complete service again next year. The company truly seems to value their customers' time; every interaction with them has been quick, easy and efficient.
