    Lawn care

    Hometurf has been doing our lawn for many years now. We have been very happy with their results. Our lawn is always looking great. When we do need their staff they are always corteous and helpful.

    lawn care

    Hometurf has done a very good job applying their product on my lawn. I have never been able to know when to buy and apply and water my own product with success. every RETAIL company that sells seed, fertilizer and weed control has a different story for success. As well, they disagree with each other as to when to apply these products. I have spent more money than I care to admit with very little success. All I know is that since Hometurf has been looking after my lawn for the past 3 years it has NEVER looked so good.They know when to apply their product and they leave a description of what they have done each time and how to water and when each time.Keep it up Hometurf ! their 7 step program works for me !

    Lawn service

    first year with these guys. So far so good. My lawn is already looking better after 2 visits. Hoping the rest of the season will be just as good as what i have seen so far.

    Lawn Care

    I am so frustrated with this company. Firstly, our lawn is absolutely covered with weeds. They applied their weed control, which did not help. I called to inform them of this and their response was that they would send someone for another application “when they are in the area”. I asked if that would be within the next week or so, but they do not seem to be in a hurry to send someone back, despite claiming they have put this on “rush” order. It’s been over a week now so I had no choice but to mow the lawn with the weeds. The rep on the phone said when someone finally does show up (not anytime soon), they will only treat weeds which are visible (ie: if I mowed the lawn and the weeds were chopped during that process, they would not take the time to locate those weeds). Secondly, I had underground sprinklers installed last year and mentioned that I was concerned that they would be damaged during the aeration process. They put this in their “notes on my account” and asked me to flag the heads to ensure their safety. The kid they sent to my home was about to begin the aeration process right by one of the sprinkler heads. Thankfully I was home and I rushed out to stop him. He wasn’t even aware of the heads. I asked why he didn’t read the “notes on my account” and he said he “didn’t see that note”. Thirdly, I have gates on both sides of my house to access my backyard. I specifically explained which gate I want used and which gate should never be used. They said they “put notes on my account” so that the gentleman that comes would use the correct gate. He never does. I have literally called this company at least 8-10 times since last year (after every application) to complain that the wrong gate was used. The response I get each time is “we are sorry, we have added new notes to your account”. I don’t understand how many notes need to be added to get your people to use the correct gate. It’s not that complicated. Lastly, there are several patches of dead grass on my front lawn. I have asked for those areas to be treated and their response is “if we can, we will”. That’s not a very comforting response. I had brand new grass and sprinklers installed 2 years ago and was looking for a reliable company to help maintain my investment. I’ve paid over $500 the past 2 years to Hometurf and this will be the last year I use them.

We are glad to hear that you let us know about the weeds and that we have set up a free re-spray for you. Our technicians will still be able to treat the weeds when the lawn is cut. We encourage our customers to continue proper cutting habits as the weed control will still be effective when the weeds are cut as the weed control is absorbed through the leaf of the plant. In regards to the sprinklers we always ask customers with sprinkler systems to mark their sprinkler heads for us and will not complete the application if the sprinkler heads are not marked. As for the gate, that is our mistake and we apologize for that. If you provide us with your address we can look into these matters for you. We would love to rectify any concerns you have and keep you as a customer, please contact us with your address so that we can do so. Thank you.

    Complete program

    This will be our third year using Hometurf for our lawn. Our lawn was in need of some professional help a few years back. Hometurf took the time to listen to what I needed done and the end result was great. Anytime I need to talk to someone there, they are always courteous and very helpful.

    lawn care services

    I signed up for hometurf lawn care, as I wanted the aeration done on my lawn, and I was very pleased with the service I received all summer. The fertilization was done on time and the service techs were very nice and helpful

    lawn care

    We are very pleased with Home-turf's service. Advance warning was given prior to the application of the lawn's spring feeding. Tyler the technician came on time and was fast and professional. He did a great job, not missing any spots and applying an adequate amount of fertilizer to all the lawn areas. We would definitely recommend your lawn care service..

    Lawn care

    I have used hometurf for two years and have been quite happy with the service. The work is done when it is supposed to and they call my house the day before they came. My lawn is one of the best on my street.

    Lawn and weed care

    I use Hometruf to furtilize my lawn and control weeds. Unfortunatly, they are done in one minute( I watched them do this through my window ) and there are always granulates all over my driveway and walkways. In addition, I always have to call them back to re spray the weeds as they never get them all. They miss spopts and won't go all around your house unless you ask! Every time! I think Hometurf technicians need to pay more attention to what they're doing and do it right the first time.

    Lawn care

    I continue to be a client of hometurf after many years and am pleased with the interaction with the field and office staff. This year The field staff provided the first application of fertilizer before I had a chance to rake the lawn when I mentioned this to the service person he told me the lawn should not be affected, but if I was not happy I could call the office and ask for a re- application of fertilizer. In the end this was indeed not necessary but I was very impressed by the response of the service person. It is evident that the staff reflect the attitudes and approaches of the owner of the business. Thanks very much.
