    Great service and customer relationship skills

    We dealt with Hassan Zaidi. He took great care of us. We have used Lifestyle in the past for windows and doors, so we were already happy with the products and installation. This was a new product for us (awnings) and Hassan was excellent in walking through the product options and features and helping us come to a decision. Thanks Hassan!

    Windows & Doors

    I had an amazing experience with Lifestyle. Hassan was very knowledgeable about the products and very professional. I couldn't have asked for better service from Hassan. The install was very quick and done on time. Thank you to the Lifestyle team and Hassan!

    Sunroom

    We dealt with the Ajax location and are very happy with our Lifestyle sunroom. Robert's professionalism made him a pleasure to deal with. He recommended some changes to our original plans which made a big difference to the final layout. Matt and his crew did a terrific job with the installation and the finished product far exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend Lifestyle to anyone considering a sunroom addition because of the quality and workmanship. We would certainly consider Lifestyle for any future projects.

    Sunroom

    Changed our 3 season sunroom to a 4 season. The original installation of our Lifestyle sunroom had been done so carefully and well, it was not an easy job. I would like to give a big shout out of thanks to Lifestyle and Eric and John for being so careful and contentious.

    Roofing

    This could be my best experience with a sales representative in general. Hassan did a fantastic job on the roof. Very clearly explained the product and after we searched a lot of companies we came to the conclusion that Lifestyle had a much superior product and at a very good price. Hassan was very knowledgeable and kind. He really took care of us

    All windows & new door

    Justin made this experience as easy and supportive as it could possibly be from helping me sort out finances, to even making recommendations on make, colours and more. He was sure to be involved in every step of the process-- even coming out on the day of the install. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lifestyle windows and doors and am happy to have dealt with as excellent a sales person as Justin! Thanks for making my home one of the most bold on the block!

    great in woodbridge, but terrible in richmond hill. the installer stood me up twice and the sales guy lost my cheque.

    I had a new sliding back door installed at my home in woodbridge. Sales person and contractors were excellent and professional. No problems or issues. I'm very satisfied with the door. I decided to use lifestyles again because I was so incredibly satisfied with the service I received. I had lifestyles replace the front door of my parent's home in richmond hill but I received very poor customer service. ‎ 1) I am very displeased with the service I'm receiving from Lifestyle and your contractor Hernan. I took a day off work on Wednesday March 17th to be present for the front door installation and my  appointment was cancelled that day around 12PM. The installation was rescheduled for Saturday March 19th. I asked the secretary what time I should be expecting the contractor and I was told between 11AM and 2PM. I received a voice message at 8:40AM this morning (March 19th) from Hernan that he will be at the house between 9:30AM and 10:00AM. Please note, I live in Vaughan and the door I'm paying for is being installed at my parents home in Richmond Hill. It takes me 30 minutes to drive to richmond hill from my home. This home in Richmond Hill was broken into and robbed via the front door in January and I've been waiting for six weeks for this new door. I arrived at the house at 10:10AM to find a note stuck to my door saying "sorry we missed you." I called Hernan, who told me he was already on his way home and to call the office to reschedule an appointment. I am extremely annoyed at the amount of time I've wasted waiting for this door to be installed. ‎Hernan did not apologize for the miscommunication on behalf of your company, and he did not offer to turn his car around and come back to install the door. In retrospect I should have called Hernan to let him know I was on my way. But also, Hernan should have attempted to call me before he left the note on the door. 2) the sales per lost my cheque for the final balance. I was constantly getting calls from the head office asking for the money. 3) I had to waste time and money to cancel the cheque that the sales person lost. I was very annoyed by this inconvenience. If you've ever had to cancel a cheque before you know what I mean. The bank rep was telling me to close my chequing account because of the lost cheque. If that guys finds the cheque again he could potentially cash it. 4) the sales guy never called me to apologize for losing my cheque. The finance team had to apologize on his behalf and I didn't receive any compensation for the inconvenience. At least send me a Tim Hortons card that you're already giving away to people who are getting a first time quote. Because of this I have mixed feelings towards lifestyles. I might use them again in vaughan but I will NEVER use them again in richmond hill.

    Over a year, and small project is still not finished.

    We ordered 2 wall sections to be installed on our front porch. (One 45 inches wide, and one 96 inches wide) Both were to be mounted between existing brick walls on the house. The front section has a new door and a new window. The installer was building the front wall not according to the contracted specs. Despite being informed he continued to build the wall incorrectly, and later had to take it all down. When completed, both walls leaked when it rained, and the wood in the wall keeps getting wet. After months they finally got one of the walls to be water tight, but the front wall still leaks. At one point they caulked the base of the INSIDE of the front wall, so the water was trapped inside the wall when it rained. This made it look like the leak was fixed, but it just masked the problem. The last thing you want is water inside the walls rotting the wood, while creating mold and rust. We forced them to remove it, and this revealed water soaked wood, and rust on the bottom of the brand new door. At one point they put drywall on the walls they knew to be leaking which we made them remove until the leaks are fixed. Why would you want new drywall to get wet? Again trying to mask the problem. This project has been going on for more than a year (14 months now). They claimed to have fixed the leak again, but on June 27th (2 weeks ago) we sent more photos showing the leaks are still there. We have not heard when or if they intend to return. Every claim that the leaks were fixed were proven to be untrue. They even tried to blame our roof! Even though we were testing the leaks on dry days where the roof was not even touched. Oh, and at one point they told us we had to fix the leak (my favourite). Several times they said they were going to show up and didn't, without calling us. We know things come up, and schedules change due to circumstances, but you should at least inform us that you are not going to work as planned. This is the kind of poor communication and lack of interest they show in completing our long overdue project. We have also had building materials on our front walkway right in front of our front door for about a year. Wood, drywall, plastic, etc. We have had to walk around this stuff, and mice have built nests under them. The salesman told us that they would rough in the electrical in the room, and our contract indicates this in writing, but they later said they would not do it. So we hired our own electrician to rough it in. So beware that what is agreed to and written on your contract may not be honoured.

    Patio Door, Entry Door, Window

    I had Julie as a sales rep for my windows, she was on top of everything and she is a superstar. Her installer Keith did an awesome job installing, kept the mess cleaned up and they look amazing good quality windows and doors. Very professional job they did. Thanks

    Windows

    Great company. Nick was great to work with as a consultant. He was easy to reach, followed up on all details and came by to review the completed job. Bill the installer did a fabulous job on some difficult windows. They were very friendly and cleaned up as they installed. One year later and I am very satisfied with the completed job. I would use this company again.
