    Door Knob Replacement

    Unable to turn knob from both inside and outside. Called Marcus and he arranged for a service tech to come to repair the knob. All is well now and we can enter and enter our home without issue!

    Window and Door Replacements

    I just had the second phase of my window and door replacements completed by Lifestyle Home Improvements. The whole experience was excellent. Their sales rep Julie was very attentive to what i was envisioning and explored the various options available with me. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional in her sales approach. Travis and his team did an excellent job of installation and clean-up. Julie's after sale, installation and post-installation follow-ups were a pleasant surprise. I would recommend use of this company without reservation or hesitation.

    Metal roof installed

    We needed to get a new roof as ours was sneaking up on 15 years. after seeing a flyer we received in the mail we noticed that Lifestyle's did metal roofs. We have had Lifestyles do our windows and put a awning on our new deck, the works ethics are professional and their products are top grade. So we called to get a quote for a new metal roof. After learning of all the benefits we went ahead with the job. The installation crew were all very professional and friendly, they had the job done in a day and half. since then we have had good comments from our neighbors have been "wow looks great" Thank you Lifestyle Home Products Stephen

    Sun Room installed

    Robert helped me picking and designing the sunroom on my second floor balcony. The quality of the product is good so far and installation service is excellent. I am so impressed by the excellent craftsmanship of Steve and Jay who installed the sun room on my balcony. They have gone above and beyond my expectations with their dedications and attentions to details. It has been a pleasant experience working with Lifestyle. I am a happy customer and will highly recommend your product and services to my neighbours. :)

    Water penetrated interior

    I paid $8200 for the windows and sliding door to be installed in my mom’s home in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. The windows/sliding door were installed on September 17, 2015 Thursday. On October 9, 2015 Friday, I get a call from my mom that there is standing water on the window sill (interior) in the corner. I get to my mom’s house on October 10, 2015 Saturday. I check it out, not only is there water pooling in the corner of the window sill, the wall below the window is wet and the carpet is saturated with water. It’s a long weekend, it being a holiday on Monday, October 12 Thanksgiving day; I will call Lifestyles on Tuesday, Oct 13 I call on Tuesday, Oct 13 and explain that I have water getting into the house. They tell me that they will call me tomorrow (Oct 14) to confirm a date. I told her that water is entering the house. It’s an emergency. Anyways, Lifestyles calls me on Oct 14 Wednesday and informs me that the installer will be coming by October 29, Thursday. I tell the lady that its 2 weeks away and we have water getting into the house. That’s the best they can do....I have to wait 15 days for someone to come out and look at the leak. I asked for the Presidents email and they gave me the supervisors name (M.B) I will not be posting names (I do have them). The installer comes by on Oct 29, Thursday. My sister tells me he wasn't the one who did the installation. He looked at the Master bedroom window from the outside (using my ladder) and told me that they didn't install flashing/ cap above the window. He grabs some caulking and puts down a long bead of caulking and tells me that should do it. I didn't even bother responding to him. The master bedroom window is surrounded by vinyl. The proper job was to install flashing/cap underneath the vinyl siding above the window. The house is half brick (bottom)/half vinyl (top) on the sides and back of the house. The front of the house is all brick. He leaves... The next day Oct 30, Friday I call head office and tell them my experience. Head office calls me back the same day and books an appointment to install flashing above the master bedroom window on Nov 3 Tuesday for 12-1230pm. It’s Nov 3 Tuesday. The time is around 1pm. No one has shown up or called me that they are running late. I send an email from my mom’s house in Pickering telling them I'm going back to the west end of Toronto now. I get a phone call from my sister around 130pm, same day, Nov 3 Tuesday, telling me that the installers are at the house in Pickering. My sister was home when they arrived. I was in Etobicoke when she called. It’s quite obvious, if I didn't send the email earlier to head office, these installers would have never shown up on Nov 3, Tuesday. My sister informed me later that they installed a metal thing over the window (flashing/cap). They told her the wall/floor/carpet wasn't damaged by the water. I know 100%, that it was damaged. They also put some caulking above the bathroom window. This window should of also been capped/ flashing. After this point, I gave up on this company. I figured in the spring/summer of 2016 I will have another window company come in and fix/ maybe reinstall at my cost, even though I have lifetime warranty. I'm not sure if the job was done right. I have no confidence in Lifestyles. Also, since winter is over, I will remove the drywall below the window to see how much water damage there was done to the interior. Lifestyles, I don’t expect anything from you anymore. I tried. The reason for this posting is to share my experience regarding the install with other readers. To end on a positive note, the sales representative (K.B) that I met with prior to the install was a great ambassador for Lifestyle. I will try to upload pictures Regards AL

    Windows and Front Door

    I had 5 windows and a new front door installed. Rick and Bill, the installers were prompt and very polite. Took two days for the installation and they made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. They even showed me how to tilt the windows for cleaning. Any questions that I had they were quick to respond. Windows and door look amazing. Would highly recommend the company and if I had any more work done would like to have the same installers. Thank you lifestyles for your wonderful products and great installers and also the sales rep, Ryan who got everything started.

    complete window installation

    All Windows replaced in my home. Great job. Clean. Showed up on time. Windows are great. Installers were polite and courteous. Took away all debris and old Windows. Included some special features which were very professionally finished.

    Sunroom falling apart.

    2 yrs ago we bought a sunroom addition to our house and pieces are falling off on the inside. They did not use the halical piers, cutting them off (I have videos), to stabilize the foundation and now there's issues with the floor. We've called Lifestyles several times to fix the issues, but no one ever came even after they said they would. If my husband hadn't been there, checking every thing that was done, there's no doubt the room would have collapsed by now. I advise people to stay away from them.

    New Windows + Door

    I wanted to purchase some windows and a new side door for my cottage as a reno project before 2016 and came across Lifestyle when I was researching online. For the most part the reviews I read were positive, so I took a chance and called in for a quote. I asked the receptionist some questions and was then relayed to Bobby from "manufacturing" as she called it. Bobby has a superior knowledge of the products and great phone mannerisms. He was extremely patient as I explained what I was looking for and made several points about potential window styles for the sizes I gave and how to best optimize energy efficiency. He also emailed me pictures of finished product from the Lifestyles factory that I requested so I could see hardware and operation, being an admittedly detail oriented person I like to know what I'm buying. Many would not go the extra mile to do this, but I ultimately chose Lifestyle because of the customer service and I went along with many of Bobby's suggestions too and I'm glad I did. We had to drive to Peterborough to pick our order up and my husband installed everything easily. The whole process was smooth from start to finish with no surprises. The tall view glass in our new door is beautiful and good for letting the sun into the kitchen and everything is of superior manufacturing quality. I can't wait to show off when our relatives come for Christmas. If you live in or near Peterborough I would highly recommend Lifestyles.

    Had a problem - it was well taken care of.

    I had windows installed throughout my house several years ago and noticed that the patio door had paint over-spray from the manufacturing. I was disappointed that I didn't notice it sooner but got in touch with lifestyles to see what could be done. Keith came out to review the situation. Needless to say, several weeks later it was resolved beyond my expectations. I will be calling lifestyles again in the new year looking for a new design for our front entrance!
