    drain cleanup

    Mr Gibson arrived on time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained wat caused the problem, fixed it and advised what to tell the insurance company.

    Bathroom sink plumbing

    I called yesterday to replace a sink drain trap that, while installing a new faucet, I found was cracked. I also wanted alignment of drain plumbing from sink to wall checked/corrected, and installation of cold and hot supply shut-off valves. I was given a next-day appointment, on a Sunday, which was advanced to an earlier time when a technician became available. He assessed the requirements, provided a reasonable quote (based on past job costs) and completed the job (using all new parts) including connection of the new faucet. He explained what was done and demonstrated no leaks. He was thorough, efficient and most courteous. I am totally satisfied with the support, from my initial call to job completion. during (my) installation of a new faucet due to misaligned original plumbing by home builder.

    We couldn't be happier...

    We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from our plumber Wondy of Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Wondy was a true professional; friendly, informative, and someone who takes pride in doing a great job. We had a leaking pipe in our kitchen wall that was leaking into our basement. After having the cabinet removed, Wondy was able to get into the wall and stop the leak. He even went out of his way to clean the area when he was finished. We've been using Mr. Rooter for all our plumbing needs since we moved into our home seven years ago We'll continue to do so and be sure to request Wondy to be our plumber.

    Drain sewage back-up in home

    Had a water back-up in our basement. After researching drain service providers in our area, I saw that Mr Rooter looked like it provided a good service. I called their office and within 4 hours, a technician (Vlad) came to our home and did a full inspection with camera snake and determined that an old clay pipe had decayed and was stopping the flow at the outside breather pipe. The next morning, 2 service workers showed up right on time. These 2 guys ( Alex & Boris) were awesome to work with. They had to excavate just outside our home on our lawn. They had to dig using shovels as gas line was too close for heavy equipment. Within a couple of hours, they had a 9ft deep hole dug out to accessed the broken pipe, then cut out old pipe, then installed new PVC piping and provided 2 clean-outs. 1 to access our home system, and the other for accessing the city line. After 5 hours, the entire job was complete, everything cleaned up, and lawn cuttings put back in place. So grateful that Mr Rooter attended to the issue so quickly and completed the job in a timely fashion. Mr. Rooter should be honoured to have Vlad, Alex & Boris working for them! Truly a great team!!

    Overpriced

    I hired Mr. Rooter for some previous jobs. I heard they were good but I hesitated because their prices seemed quite high. Understanding that sometimes we get what we pay for, I hired them anyway. Then later, for a small plumbing job, I decided to try a different plumbing company, instead because they rated higher than Mr. Rooter on Homestars and people commented on their reasonable prices. I found out that I had indeed been overcharged a surprisingly high amount for all previous jobs. So today, I'm not a happy camper.

    Sump pumps

    Had flood in shop at the house due to a sump pump issue Robert the Rooter Technician fixed the issues, improved the sump set up and capacity it could handle The next day i had some questions, Robert called back right away and answered them all - did a great job!

    P-trap replacement under the kitchen sink

    The P-trap under my sink was broken. I was assigned an appointment the next day but later received a call that there was an immediate opening. Samuel showed up soon after. He cut off the brass pipes and replaced them with PVC. He was done quickly, then he cleaned up the area under the sink. Excellent service.

    Several tasks all well done

    Friendly technician, on time, job well done etc, can't complain He changed a valve, added a utility sink to the garage, connected the fridge water line and added a tap outside for a garden hose

    Repair or Replace Faucets or Pipes
    Leaking pipes behind the wall. Water came through the ceiling in the dinning room. They had to cut a hole in the drywall and solder the pipe.

    Drain Repair

    I called Mr Rooter to investigate a slow-draining toilet. It turned out that the toilet had been installed poorly by previous home owners and there was an entirely separate larger problem in the house sewer system. The investigation and quote process was thorough and detailed and the technician took the time to find out what the problem was, when other plumbers in the past had just snaked the drain and assumed the problem was resolved. They ended up replacing the water line and the entire basement drain system. After the work, when there was a problem discovered, the company came quickly the same day and fixed the issue and repaired the additional damage caused by the repair.
