    Prices are notorious

    Ziggy detected when he was here in Jan, 2020) this was done on June 29, 2020 . $616.00. Jan 2022 we needed a diverter spout installed on our bathtub in our ensuite bathroom . We purchased the diverter spout for less than $50.00 , cost to install $360.00??. We had a toilet installed today, which we purchased on our own for $189.00, and yes you had to supply a shut off valve which may have cost $35.00 or so and it cost us $429.00 to get it installed?? So we now have a $700 toilet in our powder room. Sorry, but we will not be using Mr. Rooter again . Your pricing which your employed plumbers have to abide by and use are notorious. If in future, we need plumbing work done, we will source out local plumbers in our area.

    Reinstall main drain pipe (after sewage backup)

    Omid (project manager) and Andre and his crew did an excellent job redoing the sloppy job of the previous plumber to reinstall the main drain pipe in the basement which had an incorrect slope and other code violations (eventually resulting in sewage backup and flooding). The team walked me through every step of the process, were on time and took time to show and explain what is happening. Mr. Rooter is the only plumbing company I trust and would not hesitate to re-hire the same crew. Thank you Omid, Andre and team for the great job!

    Horrible Service-Condo leaky kitchen faucet

    Horrible service! Arranged for a plumber to come to my unit to see my tenant for a leaky kitchen faucet. Plumber barely said two words to the tenant, inspected for less than 5 second, and said my entire kitchen faucet needs replacing. Called me and told me he was leaving an estimate with my tenant and then just walked out her door, saying we all need to find a new company? Complete waste of time, phony company. Not sure if they realize people take time off work and school for these service calls. Was also extremely rude and short on the phone. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

    Basement drain fix

    Plumber came to fix the basement drain issue and he had to remove the toilet to inspect the pipe. He ended up not fixing the main issue, and on top of that, when he put the toilet back on, he RE-USED the old wax LOL. and now the water is leaking from the base of the toilet. one more problem for me thanks to unprofessional plumber who was too cheap. for less than 30 min work, charged $400, and quoted $6K to come back and fix the problem. Over priced company with terrible customer service.

    Toilet Flushes Slowly

    I called Mr. Rooter (do NOT confuse them with the other company with a similar name) to fix a toilet that was flushing slowly. It took several flushes to clear the toilet. Mr. Rooter came out and assessed the situation for themselves. They replaced the FILL VALVE. They "tested" for leaks - found none and charged me $240. My problem is that the FILL VALVE did not correct the slow draining/flushing of the toilet. It is hilarious that he did not test if the toilet actually flushed! For a 15 minute fix and a $10 part they charged me $240. I had to call in a second plumber who actually laughed at the work they did. They overcharged me and didn't even fix the toilet. Avoid this company at all costs.

    Bathroom Plumbing

    Wondy was very friendly and professional. He not only handled the installation of our new toilet well, but educated us on proper maintenance. He ran various tests to ensure there were no leaks under our sink and came prepared to clean up after his installation. He left no garbage and overall the experience was very positive. Would recommend.

    Camera overcharge

    I wouldn't use this company again all they did was camera and not offer any fixes also spent alot of time just doing just that. Also refused to snake. Could have rented and done better basically the same thing for cheaper and would have solved my own problem

    Detailed, Quick & Professional

    We had an issue with our drain and called Mr.Rooter to identify the root of the problem. Omid found a crack in one of our drain pipes and explained in great detail what the issue was and how it can be fixed. He provided a quote and came back with his team within a week. Our drain was fixed in a matter of hours. Omid was extremely professional and his team was clean and efficient. We would definitely recommend Mr.Rooter.

    Replacing toilet flange

    We had a leaking toilet flange and Samuel (from Mr. Rooter) replaced it for us today. It was a tricky, complicated job that took longer than we all expected (due to a poor renovation job done by the previous home owners), but Samuel was professional, and didn't leave until the job was finished. He also brought a shop-vac and cleaned up the drywall pieces from the ceiling on the main floor. We now have a working toilet that is leak free. Thanks!

    tub faucet cartridge fixed

    Wondy was a pleasure to work with: punctual, friendly, knowledgable and fixed the problems we were having. A damaged cartridge in the tub faucet was resulting in an ongoing leak and blocking of hot water. One small piece of feedback for improvement purposes: the plumber unstuck the mat in the tub while doing the work. He invited me to check the repaired faucet afterwards, and upon entering the tub I slipped a bit since the mat was no longer secured. The mat is a safety feature so if it is unstuck by the plumber, the resident should be notified (or the mat entirely removed so it is obvious). The cost of this service, determined by the company not the plumber, was outrageous for such a small part and small amount of labour.
