    Replacing worn hoses/pipes

    Soon after discovering a burst hot water pipe/hose had flooded our kitchen and part of the basement, we called Mr. Rooter. They sent over a tech within 2 hours of the call (and updated us twice during that time to advise how long we would have to wait). The tech (Richard Crump) arrived at the promised time, and within minutes, began working on repairing the damage. I was very impressed by his expertise and professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to use Mr. Rooter or Richard's services again.

    Plumbing

    I have had Mr. Rooter repair my flooding problems on 2 previous occasions. They repaired the pipes efficiently and in a timely manner. They were so pleasant, easy to communicate with and fixed each of the problems they found. I also had my drain pipe lined so that it would protect the old drain pipe from causing a flood. We had a flood recently and they investigated everything and found it was the result of a blocked pipe on the city side and blocked eaves troughs. Travis arrived at my home immediately and called his manager Fred and they spent several hours investigating until they found the cause. There was no charge for all of this work because they found the work they had done previously was fine. I have been so ripped off by plumbers I found in the yellow pages, but Mr. Rooter was amazing. Fred and Travis were excellent. If anyone ever has a flood in their basement, they should call Mr. Rooter.

    Unplug lavatory in the bathroom and tub

    Ziggy was very punctual. He explained in detail the steps needed in order to complete the job. Ziggy answer my questions with patient. He provided with an accurate estimate of the job. After he completed the job he reviewed. Excellent job I would not hesitate recommending Mr. Ziggy (Mr Rooter) services

    Sump Pump fix

    We called Mr. Rooter about a sump pump problem from a previous installation. Will was the technician and he totally surpassed our expectations. He was friendly, courteous and really, really helpful. And there was no charge for the visit. I would completely recommend him for any plumbing work and I will definitely request he comes back if we ever need work done. Great job! THANKS!

    Toilet, Sink, and Tub Installation

    Up untill today though all of last week we were having major renovation done in our basement, and that's exactly why we needed a good company to get a new wash room set-up and running for and additional sector of the basement. The team did a great job and a clean job I have to say. They made sure the workplace was tidy after the job, the cost for the project was reliable, and the time promised worked according to as said. In short, definitely recommended to everyone.

    Replacement of hose bibb for garden hose

    From what I understand, Mr. Rooter is a fairly large company with lots of plumbers working for the company. So it's a bit of a luck of a draw who the dispatcher will send over to your house. I really lucked out with Will V.! Will was actually supposed to come over and do a hook-up installation for a heavy free-standing bathtub. But due to the heavy weight of the bathtub, he was unable to do the job right then and there. Instead, I asked him to take a look at an outdoor garden tap and he did a GREAT job replacing part of the plumbing and the old tap. He was working hard for almost four hours on the job and had a few good recommendations which we ended up implementing. Very friendly, professional, hard-working. Thanks Will V.!

    Pipe in kitchen was sawed through by a shoddy contractor

    Richard Crump arrived as scheduled and evaluated my problem quickly - a pipe under the sink had been sawed through after an insurance claim 5 years earlier, and it appeared the contractor who did that was aware of it as it was siliconed and plastered. Richard knocked out a bit of wall to further investigate, and it was luckily a straight pipe, so relatively quick to repair. He cut the pipe off and installed a new PVC joint. He was very tidy and cleaned up promptly after himself. He also fixed a basement toilet in a matter of minutes. Richard was polite, genial, friendly, efficient and demonstrated expertise in his field. I loved his little bottie shoe cover & nail files. I would highly recommend him to anybody! Thanks, Richard.

    Mr. Rooter saved my tiles

    Drain had been acting up for a couple weeks leading up to "the event". Was washing dishes one night when water started to back up in the sink. Used a plunger as I had many times before to remove the clog. Normally, some junk flows back into the sink and everything is back to normal. This time brown sludge began oozing back into the sink! Had never seen this before... Sink started to fill. Slowly but still it was flowing and I couldn't get it to stop. Googled for a plumber near me and found Mr. Rooter. Called them and explained the emergency. Somehow they got here within a half hour and attended to the sink before it completely overflowed onto my brand new tiles!!! The guys were extremely friendly, and considering how quickly they arrived, the price was right. Sink hasn't had any trouble since then (two months ago). Thanks Mr. Rooter!!! You've secured a long time customer now!

    Fixed valve that supplies the washing machine

    My plumber is Joseph. Super friendly guy. The job was done quickly and competently. The leaking valve was fixed in no time. Overall, I'm very happy with the services I received.

    Find the source of a leak coming through living room ceiling

    Richard Crump and his trainee Monty arrived for what should have been a couple of hours work. Several hours later, they had removed a toilet upstairs, found the source of a leak with their camera, cut through the living room ceiling drywall and repaired/replaced damaged pipes. The quality of their work and their customer service was the best we have ever seen. The charges were reasonable and the appointment was available right away and at a time convenient to us. They explained their work and what to expect throughout the entire project. We signed up with Richard for the Mr. Rooter Advantage Plan membership as we plan to use him for future plumbing service.
