    Plumbing on short notice

    We had a leaky toilet valve and a poorly heated shower issue. It was 5 pm on a Friday when we called Mr Rooter. Within an hour, Wasqas arrived and professionally handled the problem. He was very knowledgeable and handled all the issues and answered all of our questions. Would not hesitate to recommend. We called other services prior and the earliest they could arrive was 1 week’s time. Glad we used Mr Rooter.

    Solved major plumbing problems under the house

    During spring melt our basement got drenched with a mix of sewage and ground water seeping from under the floor. A very knowledgeable employee from Mr Rooter arrived within 1 hour after the call. He explained our options and the plumbing issues causing the situation. Work started the next day and involved - excavation inside and outside the house up to 10 feet deep - working in a very constrained "crawl space" - changing multiple underground pipe joints - installing new access points to the underground pipes Everything was complete within 2 days, all excavated sections paved over, with absolutely no mess left. Very happy with the work done.

    Replace hot water mixer

    Called Mr. Rooter got an appointment same day. A service technician called an hour before arrival. David, the tech, was very professional and followed safety protocols always. He completed an estimate, fixed the problem, showed what work was done. Friendly, easy going and very professional. Will use again for sure.

    replaced and repaired laundry room faucet

    Great, fast service

    I had a leaking ceiling in my basement, and was not sure what to do. I called Mr. Rooter as i have heard good things about them in the past, and they came almost immediately. My technician Ziggy was very knowledgeable and his customer service was great. He made me feel confident in knowing he could do the job, and I wouldn't have to worry about the issue again later. He kept me informed while working, and double checked everything before he left. If you live in Brampton, i definitely recommend this company and their technicians.

    Very expensive and untransparent

    Too expensive and not transparent... $750 for clearing kitchen sink clog with machine. When I called their number for a quote, I was told that the quote is not available, technician needs to be on-site for assessment (wether proceed with repair or not, there will be $100 fee, I understand,this applies to a lot of companies). Tech came in, with two prepared quote, first one $1400+ and second $750. So I would assume quote should be available for kitchen sink clog? The only good part is at least technician is professional and knows what he is doing. But definitely will not have a second deal

    Not Professional service/ambiguous answers

    I had 2 toilettes clogged almost in same time... I called this company. They came, inspected for 2 min, and they said that fees would be (308 cad)... They confirmed that everything would be OK as it was a simple job (It took them 5 min ONLY for both toilettes to unclog them). They did the job and I paid the $308 and after 10 days after, I had the same problem again. I called them, they sent the team, they said that I had to pay again, although customer service confirmed that I did not need to pay for same service!!!

    Unreasonable charge and job done without authorization

    I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing and ask if I can get a quote and got informed its free to get an estimate. On that day I was called by my tenant that the bill is $750. I was shocked and then called the company ask why just replace the mixing valve it will cost such huge amount of money. I asked what labour rate they have and what is the cost for the valve. Company manager advised I will get a call back but then I received this invoice and tenant told me the job is done already. I called the company again and was told they will give me a discount makes the price to $542. I said but this job is done without my authorization. I called the agency confirmed he did not authorized the job too. Since my tenant already paid them. I called them ask if we can lower the price to $300. They said no. $300 was according to one of the plumber that work for my friend's house. Usually the labour rate is $60-$65/hr, and the valve as per the pictures cost $110 - $230. I dont think the price is reasonable and they just tell me that's just the price for everyone that replace the valve. And they always use the same valve.

    Excellent client service

    Omid and his team were super responsive, very insightful and diligent in their work. Omid is a pleasure to work with. I will definitely recommend him and Mr. Rooter to others.

    Shower Cartridge Replacement

    In case the people at Mr Rooter were not aware, moen shower cartridges are covered by warranty. I used good old YouTube to figure this out and replaced it myself for $0. This was after Mr Rooter sent someone to my home telling me that he needed to cut my wall open and charge me $1500 to fix my shower cartridge. He claimed there was no other way. That was obviously a untrue. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves trying to rip people off during a pandemic when everyone is already struggling financially. Gross, just disgustingly gross behaviour. I really would like my money back for him coming there and doing nothing helpful at all.
