    Kitchen back up and leaking pipes

    Prompt response to drain back up and leaking kitchen pipes. Andrew was amazing. He quickly assessed the situation, and advised me to contact Property Manager (which I had done). The drains were leaking in several places, so he changed them as per code. He installed a new faucet. I will get him to return and get him to install one I prefer for different features. Andrew as courteous, very knowledgeable, and I felt I could trust his opinion.

    Replaced a toilet

    Plumber initially suggested he would replace a couple parts to our old toilet, then went ahead and replaced the entire toilet. When I received the invoice, I asked for more details regarding the parts & labor (one hour) involved with the installation of the new toilet and they refused. Cost of this toilet is ~$300-400, so the remaining $800 was not justified. The Service Manager was not willing to provide more details to the invoice, so my rights as a consumer were clearly not respected. Worthwhile sharing this review on other social media platforms so other consumers are aware of this poor service.

When we receive a request for service, our customer service team will schedule an appointment to have a plumber perform an onsite assessment and then provide an estimate for any work that needs to be done. Our assessments are done at no cost and our estimates come with no obligation as long as the appointment is scheduled during normal business hours. We appreciate all reviews and consider any type of feedback from our customers to be helpful, however we would like to provide some comments with regards to this particular review. The person that left this review recently contacted us to assess a toilet in their home that our plumber found a variety of issues with. The homeowners were presented an exact quote to supply and install a new toilet. Once the homeowners approved the quote, our plumber proceeded to replace the toilet. Soon after the job was completed, the homeowner contacted one of our managers to question the amount charged for the recent service call and was now looking for a discount. We discussed the charge with the customer but unfortunately were unable to provide him with the discount he was looking for.

    Mr Rooter Plumbing

    Brian responded as fast as an ambulance!!! He was friendly, professional and got the job done very quickly. He has even offered to check in over the weekend to make sure everything is good. I cannot recommend him or he company more!

    Leaking valve

    Great job done by Bruce! Very professional and helpful. This is the third time we have used Mr Rooter with success and fast service. Our valve is working perfectly now!!!

    toilet replacement

    i thought they would be competitively priced, make sure you do your research first; home advisers states the average price to replace a toilet is $115-$348, they charged $358 for a 1 hr job, i would never use them again. This is a ridiculous amount of money for the "average person" I make $195 for an 8hr day, clearly I am in in wrong business. Call me i'll replace your toilet for $150! very disappointing.

    Install Toilet and Fix slow filling toilet

    Needed to replace a toilet and to fix a slow filling toilet. Contacted Mr. Rooter and specifically asked for Kelly, based on a recommendation from a friend. I am glad I asked for Kelly! He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to explain what work needed to be done and why. My slow filling toilet is now working properly and the new toilet looks great! I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be requesting Kelly for any future work!

    Bathroom plumbing repair and leak in basement

    I was very impressed with the technician, John. He went above and beyond to be thorough and helpful. He assessed the two issues quickly and I felt extremely confident in the work he did. I even called back as I was concerned about another leak, and he returned and was able to reassure me that all was okay. He did another thorough look and even explained how water meters worked, thus educating me a little bit. I hope that if I have to call Mr. Rooter again, that I have John return to do any further work in my home.

    BE AWARE- PLUMBERS ON COMMISSION...

    We had to replace a cartridge in our shower. the plumber was friendly quoted between $100-$450 for the job but stated $450 was highly unlikely. When the plumber was done he shared that he observed another issue that was going to be about $1700 but he could waive the cost of the cartridge if they did the work the next day... we passed on that work, which happened to ONLY need a $10 washer replaced (Which we had done by another plumber). To my surprise we received the max cost for the cartridge replacement yadda yadda + a fuel surcharge (while I understand fuel surcharges can be levied by some companies it was not discussed, I was already unhappy about being charged the "unlikely" amount). When I challenged the plumber about the fuel surcharge he let me know he was commissioned and he wasn't going to make as much.. I guess that's how they hook you with a "free quote", give you a range when quoting the work and then hit you with the maximum cost... a side note the other plumber we had out (not on commission) to look at the "$1700" job said that the cartridge was installed wrong and had to fix the work Mr. Rooter did...

    Install backwater valve and replace old clay pipe with PVC

    The Service Technician from Mr Rooter was very professional. He provided a very reasonable estimate at the end of his first visit and the installation began three days later. Their two-man crew worked very hard to install the backwater valve and left no trace by cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. During the installation, they showed me how our underground clay pipe to the street had deteriorated over the past 70 years. They recommended we also replace it now while the hole was dug before they burst, which we did. They used a "pipe burst machine", which pulls the new PVC pipe through and breaks the old clay pipe out of the way. They were able to connect new PVC pipe five feet under our cement driveway without disturbing it.

    Replacing faucet

    My laundry room faucet was leaking around the base. Jesse suggested replacement was the best solution. He had exactly what was needed in his truck (wall mounted brass faucet). He was courteous, did the work efficiently and cleanly.
