    Toilet replacement

    I dealt with Bruce to replace one of my toilets that was running continually. Despite a communication error was able to acquire a toilet and install it into our house with no issues. He explained each and every step to the replacement as he went and explained why he was doing specific things. He double checked the toilet installation as well as the valve installation multiple times to ensure that everything was installed tightly and nothing was leaking. I would definitely use Bruce and Mr. Rooter again!

    New Toilet & Installation (+ old toilet removal/disposal)

    Needed a replacement for an old toilet and contacted Mr. Rooter, as I'd had good service from them in the past. Brian did a great job - speedy, efficient and courteous - couldn't ask for better service!

    Toilet replacement

    If you want fast friendly service. Definitely call mr rooter and ask for Brian. Very friendly and knows his stuff. I would definitely call mr rooter again. First class service

    Sump Pump repair

    Waqas has done several jobs for us and has always been very good, repaired the problem quickly and when he's done, it works! He's always been willing to talk about projects and make suggestions. This time, I was worried about our 10-year-old sump pump and whether the pump would be able to handle what I thought would be a huge melt after our very cold and snowy winter. So when he was here last time, I asked him to check it and he told us it was working but getting old and the floater was slow. We talked about it and he explained the options, but didn't try to steer me on what to buy.In the end, he replaced the pump and aded a backup battery and I feel very relieved. I recommend him highly!! If Mr. Rooter has other plumbers of the same high quality, I think they'd be a good bet to check out first.

    Toilet Issues

    Bruce did a great job explaining the issue and he fixed it quickly and efficiently. It was a great experience all around and I wouldn't hesitate to call Mr. Rooter back for any future plumbing needs.

    Drain services

    We just had excavation work completed to remove and replace faulty basement drain system, some of it original to our 1920’s house. Their drain specialist, Travis, and his crew (Mr Rooter North York) were excellent; organized, knowledgeable and experienced. Got in fast, work was completed promptly with minimum of disruption. The clean-up was as thorough as the rest of their work. A job well done and would highly recommend them to any one.

    Frozen sump pipe

    My sump pump would not drain water or turn off. Robert C. and Jesse diagnosed a frozen pipe that was was made possible by an odd initial installation of the pipe. They trouble shot the problem, removed and replaced the frozen portion while fixing the unnecessary bend in the line. Both were friendly, professional, clean and thorough, and, I might add, were not condescending, or sexist. They explained things clearly when I asked them to. (Hint to other companies: make sure your staff do not hate women before you hire them and make sure they do not begrudge questions!)

    Great service

    Our plumber was fantastic. He showed full commitment to the job, was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him! We were also impressed with how quickly the company was able to dispatch someone to our home.

    kitchen drain line clogged, over priced!

    Service was professional, but the price was too high. My research indicated that the cost of snaking a drain should be between $171 and $391 (Canadian dollars). I paid $481 with tax. They do charge a flat rate for any time of day.
