    Replaced Main Shut off Valve in home

    Needed to replace my main shut off valve. Mr. Rooter was terrific at clearing a window of time for a technician to come out because the city shut off time window is within 4 hours... Once the city came out and turned off supply feed, I was able to call Mr. Rooter and they had someone out within the hour. Technician was friendly, fast and did a nice job... no problems. My only hesitation for 5 stars is that my invoice is very vague, no labour/parts breakdown just one "replace water shut off valve" and I notice that others in the Mr. Rooter reviews have had the same job completed at a lower price.

    Tough Kitchen Sink Clogged

    I had a clogged in my kitchen sink. I tried to clear it myself with a manual snake. The manual snake went down about 10 feet deep. I repeated this about 5-6 times. But it was still clogged. So I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing and the plumbing technician, Brian came. The kitchen clog was very difficult and tricky but Brian didn't give up. He used his powerful snake thing and it went down the drain 25 feet deep about 8 times and the clog was still there. Finally, he began filling up the sink with water and the water went down. Yeah!!! Brian was friendly and awesome to say the least. Thank you Brian for your efforts and persistence! Much appreciated!!!!

    Sump Pump Change

    Great service! Had a free quote and then estimate for job. Everything went smoothly. Plumber (Chris) was amazing. He answered all of my questions and was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone for sump pump replacements. Advice to all, remember the US websites offer different promotions than the Canadian ones so check out the correct website for your area!

    Backed up sink to outside.

    We love Mr. Rooter. Bruce has been at our house twice for the same issue and both times he was amazing. Highly recommend them/him. Thank you Mr. Rooter and Bruce!!

    Bathroom

    Changed a tap in my bathroom and everything was ok. On time and clean installation. Took an hour and my new faucet was installed, will use again in the future.

    Thaw Frozen Pipes

    Brian was great! He was punctual and got right to work diagnosing the problem and where the frozen section was. I was glad to hear the gurgle of the water moving again after it was thawed out. Brian was very professional and courteous. We have used Mr. Rooter several times in the past and have been very pleased every time with them. Would highly recommend them.

    Blocked kitchen drain

    My drain in kitchen sink blocked up during a very cold couple of days in my city. Mr. ROOTER sent a plumber whose first name was Fernando. He tried to snake it repeatedly with no success. He advised me that he or a colleague would come again in 2 days when the weather warmed up. Sure enough, 2 days later a plumber whose name was Brian Macdonald came over. This time the first snake job worked beautifully. Great! But what was really noteworthy was Brian taking the time to give me sound advice on how to prevent the problem from reoccuring. His advice was logical and easy to understand but I wrote everything down so I would not forget. Then he asked me if there were any other plumbing issues or questions as once he was at my house anyways he would be glad to help. I did have a question about one of the bathrooms and his solution was so simple (and free). I was very, very satisfied with Brian Macdonald and by extension with Mr. Rooter for having the acumen to have this excellent plumber on their staff.

    Unclog low flush toilet by removal and switch- out bathroom faucet

    Josh Mayo was friendly, explained my options and gave me quotations clearly and concisely upon arrival. The work was done promptly, efficiently, with Josh explaining what he recommended. I appreciate that he was matter of fact and not condescending to me as a woman; how refreshing. I will definitely call Mr Rooter and request Josh for any future plumbing work.

    An honest review for Mr. Router North York Josh Mayo. Request for him if you have a job.

    An honest review for Mr. Router North York Josh Mayo. Request for him if you have a job. I will break down why and why I will likely use them again. I have some knowledge of plumbing and basic home repair. It was an interest I took in school, just headed into a Corporate position instead. I called a few contractors for a major reno to my bathroom as I know I am out of touch and didn’t want to take short cuts. Some seemed okay with a slightly better price & others (I assume); took me for being a girl. They quoted items that just didn’t make sense. Thank gawd I know better and had an uncle experienced in the field. So here is why I recommend Josh from Mr. Router. - Flexible. I had other parts of the job that was I wanted to happen first, before I had someone come in. I couldn’t nail down a date but he ensured me, that when I am ready to let him know and he'll be there. - No charge to come in an estimate the job. He came in, looked at everything and gave me a ball part price with a buffer in there. - Down to earth. Spoke to me like a person walked me through the possible job and worst case scenarios. There was no clocking ticking or rush to talk through the job quickly. - We had a last minute change to our reno which need plumbing to be job to be complete before our next phase. Called Mr. Router at 3pm to see if he could come in today. He was at another job, finished off and was at my place in Durham within 2 hours - He completed the job, checked that it was done right and walked me through some other items I could manage on my own. - He worked quietly, cleanly and asked me before he moved in and out of any area of the house. - The rates are company ones and per the item being repaired not by hour. So if he took longer, I wasn’t getting dinged for that. A little higher than other contractors, but was the amount I was quoted. Renovations are stressful but having someone come when you need it, at the price you talked about, completed on time and well.. Its worth the little extra

    Rogue Pipe Dislocation

    Anthony tended to a pipe that came apart from the toilet tank and created a fountain in my bathroom. He was quick, professional and personable. Daniella took my call and gave me very clear information about the time and manner someone would be sent. The entire experience was easy and efficiently done.
