    Replace old shutoff broken by another company's plumber

    Had water softener installed in 100+ year-old house. Vendor's plumbing tech "finished job" and left -- NOT TELLING ME HE HAD BROKEN OFF UPPER PART OF BASEMENT SHUTOFF. When I finally noticed, I called New Canadian, who sent Vlad. We discussed what to do, and he gave me a reasonable estimate for installing a new shut off and a bypass line for watering the lawn with untreated water (something the innstaller for the softener company should have done). When the day came, Vlad showed up as soon as City turned off water at sidewalk, did what we'd agreed to, and had me inspect the work when he was finished. Vlad then left, but remained on-call until City turned water supply back on. Vlad's soldering work on dry pipes worked perfectly when the water pressure came back; the man knows what he's doing. Next time, I go to New Canadian first.

    Toilet leak repair

    Tony was on time and friendly. He was great at explaining the issue and immediately fixing it. Excellent service!

    Drain pipe repair & sink installation

    Volodymyr replaced the damaged drain pipe in my bathroom and took out old sink and installed new vanity and faucet. He did great work and faster than expected and did a great job with cleanup once completed. I highly recommend!

    Toilet replacement

    Winford has worked at our house a couple of times and he always does an excellent job! The company sent him promptly and when the replacement toilet arrived he came back on the day I requested and installed it. He also checked and fixed one of our sinks while he was at the house.     Replacement of faulty vavle

    Tony from New Canadian Drain and plumbing replaced a manufacturer defect valve. Great timing and courteous.

    Dane was a great find . He solved my problem quickly. I would use them again

    Professional workmanship - thank you for a great job!

    Volodymyr installed three toilets for us. The work was done on time and Volodymyr was extremely courteous. All my questions were answered and the work was very professional. I did not have to tidy-up or throw anything out afterwards. Thank you Volodymyr for your excellent work.

    Drain replace and snake out.

    The drain was plugged and also needed replacement. The call was placed and Winford showed up in half an hour. The job was done quickly and Winfords professionalism was amazing. He also solved the problem with the dishwasher. He even clean up and went above the call of duty. This is the guy I will use every time in the future.

    Kitchen Sink and Bathroom Faucet

    I had a plumber come on a Sunday, after confirming whether or not their prices were higher on the weekend. And, the answer was no. A plumber was sent to assess the kitchen handle not staying up and the leaking bathroom faucet. It was challenging to understand the plumber as English was not his first language. I was frustrating for me and must have been frustrating for him. The kitchen faucet, one piece, needed to be replaced and I was purchasing it. There is no brand name on the bathroom faucet. The plumber told me if he was not able to source the cartridges from a supplier I would need to have the faucet replaced. He took photos and was to get back to me. The prices he quoted me I felt were high and I said so. I did not like it when he bad mouthed other plumbers. As I had not heard anything from him I called the office and was told hew as still checking into it. I had a different plumber in today from HomeStars, first class, as I had not heard anything by last Friday. I had the work done for half the price. I would not recommend New Canadian Plumbing and Drain to anyone.

    Re: Pipe Replacement

    Our clay drain pipes were destroyed by the roots of a tree on our property. Canadian Drain and Plumbing had to drill through our basement floor and replace all the pipes. They did an excellent job. They covered everything to make sure dust did not get on everything. They removed all dirt as they went along. We were also told exactly how they were going to do the job. What was exceptional was how they handled my insurance company. Initially my insurance company was going to pay only 50% of the cost. This was even after I sent multiple documents describing the work done. After I gave New Canadian Drain and Plumbing permission to talk directly to the insurance company we were given 100% of the cost of the job!
