    Mark saves the day! Plumbing disaster avoided

    I cannot believe the great service from Mark, the plumber and this company. Mark had to battle a full-force geyser of hot water to fix my shower as a result of faulty shut off valves in my building. He was soaked, burned, but the job was done and I was grateful. I have really never seen someone deal with something like that and stick with it! Very grateful.

    Install a plumbing vent

    I was satisfied with the plumber who did the job. He was easy to work with, he was keen to make certain that I was satisfied with the work and he practiced social distancing. This company got the job done quickly. I placed my request to have the work done on Home Stars. I received a call from New Canadian Drain & Plumbing and within 1 hour of that call there was someone at my house working on the job. My one disappointment is the high cost.

    Plumbing

    The guys did a descent job. Everything seems to be working well. I do recommend they wear their gloves & masks at all times for safety reasons during this Pandemic.

    Leakage

    The worst service one could ever get. I called in for a minor plumbing work and the guy ripped off 4 different parts of the ceiling and eventually said he couldn’t find where the issue was. Top of that he left without completing the work and also billed me for nothing. Upon calling their office, I was just tossed around from one person to another. No one seems to understand how difficult it is to pay for a service which resulted in a broken ceiling and original issue still left unattended. The next day when I called to speak to someone again at their office, their explanation for $200 was "Problem diagnosis" and the sad part is when the technician was onsite he never confirmed that the issue was identified and kept saying I don't know where the problem is. So, what diagnosis are we talking about here? Then someone calls me and quotes a new price of $320+tax to redo the diagnosis and fix it. Find a different way to mint money and not take someone’s hard-earned money. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars or probably a negative marking. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!

    Hello Atish, Our technician went from Toronto to Pickering and took him 40 minutes. He gave you up front pricing of $280+hst to investigate the leak from the top floor and which you agreed. In order to gain access to the pipe we must cut the ceiling in the living room on which you refused. You told him to cut from a less visible place which would be in the closet and so then he cut a hole from the closet which created difficulties to locate the leak. He spent 3 hours at your house and when it came time to pay you just decided to give him $178+hst. This is not fair how treat the company, especially during this difficult time. New Canadian Drain & Plumbing is a very reputable company and our plumber who was dispatched to your property is a licensed plumber with over 30 years of experience in the plumbing industry and we continuously conduct our business in a professional manner.

    Emergency sink fix

    Currently in COVID lockdown; We're a 5 person household and today began our 5th week of physical distancing and kids being home. One of our double kitchen sink locks corroded to the point where it broke off and no longer was connected. The remaining attachment too was worse for wear and now holding the entire undersink plumbing together. Within 80 minutes of calling, Winford arrived, maintained physical distance, wore a mask and completed the necessary fix. We certainly didn't expect it to be fixed so quickly. We will call again when needing plumbing services.

    Bathroom tub

    I was very happy with the service that I received from this company. They were available to attend to my issue within less the 24 hours of my call. The technician was very friendly and professional. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of pluming service.

    Hot water tank mixing valve repair

    New Canadian D & P provided exceptional service. They responded within 2 hours from my post on HomeStars and set up an appointment the next morning. Jeff was punctual and after looking at my problem offered a couple of options and provided an estimate for both. He proceeded to complete the work and reviewed the finished product with me to my satisfaction. His final invoice was as quoted. Because we are seniors and during these unprecedented times I was particularly impressed that Peter wore personal protective equipment during his entire stay. We will highly recommend New Canadian D & P to our neighbours and friends,

    Drainage Services

    Our basement started to have a foul smell so we called New Canadian. Shendon - the field manager- came within the hour. I was surprised considering that it was a Saturday. He was honest and up front about the issue. At the end, we had to tear out the basement and replace the entire drain system. It was a huge, dirty job and the entire team (Pouya, Alex, Esteban) did it with professionalism and humour. They did what they promised and more - big thank you to Shendon and team.

    Fast, Efficient, Professional Staff, Excellent Experience

    After being left high and dry by another plumbing company that never bothered to call us back, I called New Canadian Drain and Plumbing. They were here within the hour and provided excellent service. Javan was the plumber on site. He was friendly, efficient, professional and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call this company again and highly recommend them!

    Drains and Back Water Valve Installation

    We were extremely pleased with the installation of the drains and back water valve after a flood caused considerable damage to our basement. Shendon, their knowledgeable field manager, assessed the situation and was very reassuring in his explanation about what was required. The "new Canadian" team of installers worked diligently and methodically to get the job done. They were also very polite and helpful in moving article in the basement, even offering to carry items up the stairs for my mother who is a senior citizen. The installation required digging up parts of the basement floor with many bags of earth set aside. However, after the pipes were installed the earth was returned and the floor professionally cemented over. On the last day the "New Canadian" team proceeded to clean everything in preparation for the new flooring that was required after the flooding. We feel very fortunate that this company was able to get us through this difficult time and that we can now confidently restore our basement to its former glory. Many thanks to Shendon and his very hard working team.
