Hi Harrison,
All your allegations are untrue. When you contacted our Company regarding your kitchen sink, we scheduled a same-day appointment for you as requested. Our Licensed plumber arrived at 5:18 pm to your building in the early evening hours as scheduled between 5:00-5:30 pm and not one hour late as you stated. Once inside your unit, he began to do an inspection and discovered that your kitchen pipe was twisted around and loose behind the wall which you were present for and witnessed yourself. The picture that you emailed to our office also shows that your drain was twisted. Our plumber went to another room in your unit which is behind your kitchen and inspected the other side of the wall and informed you that access to the drain would be easier from the back of the wall rather than from the front under the kitchen sink to which you stated that you would prefer to access the drain from the front under the kitchen sink. Our plumber informed you that we would need to obtain authorization from your building management in order to break the wall and to do a proper connection (Our Company services condominiums and rental properties on a daily basis and we know that you cannot break walls without building authorization for liability reasons and that only visible plumbing can be done without first obtaining building authorization). Our plumber went with you to meet with your building maintenance superintendent and building security guard and our plumber spoke with them about obtaining building authorization to do the work of breaking the wall and gaining access to the loose drain pipe in your unit. You stated that you would call us back once you got authorization from your building management. We charged you a service charge as our plumber was at your property for approximately one hour as per our GPS tracking system (not 1 minute as you say) which does not include travelling time during rush hour to and from your property not to mention looking for parking which is nearly impossible during the evening hours at Bathurst & Lake Shore resulting in our plumber parking almost two blocks away and walking to your building. You were satisfied with the findings that our plumber provided to you and you signed and paid the invoice of $190+H.S.T. which reflects our inspection, diagnosis and recommendation with no hesitation or complaints.
4 days later while we were waiting to hear back from you with authorization from your building management, you decided to obtain the services of another plumbing company to re-install your kitchen sink. You began to complain about our services and posted bad reviews about our Company based on the negative opinion of another plumbing company which we have never heard of that does not have their Plumbing License stated on their primitive invoice, does not even have a website and is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau. New Canadian Drain & Plumbing is a very reputable Company that is accredited with the Better Business Bureau and our plumber, who was dispatched to you, is a Licensed Plumber with over 10 years experience who specializes in High-rise buildings. You chose to rely on the opinion and service of an unaccredited plumbing company who called our plumber “fake” and informed you that there is nothing wrong with the pipe. The picture you emailed to our office on the day of your appointment clearly shows that your pipe was turned behind the wall and loose as a result of your kitchen sink falling off. You decided to proceed with the never-before heard of plumbing company who siliconed your kitchen sink back in place, because it was cheaper for you to do so. Our solution to your plumbing issue would have been costlier to you but it definitely is more thorough and sufficient being that your kitchen drain is broken. We will also forward our invoice and the other plumbing company’s invoice to your Building Management to inform them that you opted for the cheaper repair rather than the correct repair because in time, when you continue to use your dishwasher and sink, you will see the results of your decision as your kitchen drain pipe has not been repaired and is spinning behind the wall and will eventually, in a few weeks, leak into the units below causing water damage and a smell for which you will be held responsible for.
