Change shower control and instal shut off valves for vanities

Plumbing problem can always be a nuisance especially when you are caught off guard on the weekend. Finding the right plumbing company to do the job promptly and professionally is a difficult task nowadays. This Sunday my shower control broke on me exactly the time I needed it and left me with worry and water running down. The first thing that came to my mind was "which company should I call now to get the job done and over with today without hassle ". I started searching and trying my luck ,I came across a plumbing company called "New Canadian Drain and Plumbing " .I called their office the person on the line was polite and considerate.I explained my plumbing problem and was told that an experienced plumber will be dispatched to my place in an hour. So far I was happy, the plumber arrived earlier than expected, his name was Seyed ,I showed him the problem and he went right to the job. He looked and talked professional, the way he diagnosed and approached the job made me calm and comfortable. I thought it is going to take long and remain with a lot of mess, but he finished the work in short time and no mess at all because he did the finishing himself and no need for re-tiling. He also checked my vanity shut off valves and changed them for future assurance . This is what I like about this company they care for their clients, they are fast, professional and considerate. Their pricing is also fantastic, I like to thank Seyed again for his good job and taking my stress away on Sunday.

    Bursts @ 4505 Anderson

This company changed prices and was not able to discount based on large amounts of not difficult work, plumber could discount a small percentage, immediate manager Iman could not discount and said the boss Igor would not do anything nor would give out his contact info and does not talk to customers....

    Answer from pro:

When you contacted our company on March 21, 2016 regarding major plumbing issues with burst pipes in the house, our office dispatched our plumbing technician to your property to assess the situation. Upon meeting with you and discussing the work that needed to be done, you agreed to proceed with the work as discussed and so our office dispatched another one of our plumbers to your site to begin the work immediately as per your request. Our two Master Plumbers, who are registered with the Ontario College of Trades, worked hard on your property for three long days to rectify your plumbing issues. On our first day (March 21, 2016), our plumbers worked on your site from morning until 18:52 (1st plumber) and from morning until 18:47 (2nd plumber) as per our GPS tracking system which does not include travelling time of 55 minutes (one-way) for each plumber to drive to your house in Whitby from downtown Toronto. For the first day’s work, our plumbers gave you a $500 discount on the job price to which they made you aware of. On our second day (March 22, 2016), our plumbers worked on your site from morning until 19:44 (1st plumber) and from morning until 19:57 (2nd plumber)which does not include travel time and for the second day’s work, again, our plumbers gave you a $400 discount on the job price to which they also made you aware of. On our third day (March 23, 2016), our plumbers worked on your site from morning until 21:00 (1st plumber) and from morning until 21:00 (2nd plumber) which does not include travel time and upon our third day’s work, our plumbers gave you a $500 discount and installed four shut off valves under your vanity sink, free of charge, which you were aware of. In summary, our plumbers gave you a total discount of $1400 and did additional work for you at no extra cost. You have not indicated any dissatisfaction with our workmanship as you are very aware that our plumbers worked hard for three long days to deliver the efficient workmanship that our company is recognized for. You’re negative feedback is based on the fact that you prefer to have our plumbers work hard at little to no cost to you which is unethical on your behalf and we will not tolerate nor will we be intimated by individuals like yourself who attempt to blackmail and threaten our company with bad reviews. We did work for you, you agreed to and signed the contract and now that the work has been completed, you are demanding a bigger discount or else you will attempt to sabotage our company name? Our workmanship is always done to code by our licensed plumbers and we are one of the most reputable Plumbing companies in the G.T.A. and we will continue to take great pride in the quality of services that we deliver despite customers like you.

    Shendon is the man!!!

After 2 plumbing companies and another so called drain expert company couldn't fix my problem with a clogged drain. After the 1st plumber snaked without success, the drain specialist company was called in. These guys wanted to rip up part of my basement to fix what they said was a collapsed pipe. To get a competitive quote I called these guys and Shendon came to the rescue. He right away determined that the cause of the problem could no way be the collapsed pipe since all my toilets were flushing. He went ahead and snaked the drain pipe again and flushed with boiling water. And voila the clog was fixed and the $3000 bill to rip up my basement needlesly was reduced to $440. This job to trouble shoot was quite tricky, but Shendon came through big time! I highly recommend him to handle anyone's plumbing problems.

Kitchen and Bathroom Water Pressure Issues

Wow! I called New Canadian after my kitchen faucet starting making this loud vibration noise and after having weeks of low water pressure. My rainshower also had low water pressure and water came out like a trickle. I called expecting to be at the mercy of their time but to my surprise I was promised a plumber at my request of 6pm with no window. Hassan (?) came earlier than the time and was very patient in diagnosing and fixing my water issues which turns out to be a combination of aerators and air in lines. Now my rainshower gives me a downpour and I can hand wash dishes properly in my kitchen sink. Thank you for an overall excellent experience

    Emergency plumbing service

When my faucet broke in my laundry room, I called New Canadian Drain and Plumbing and was greeted by a warm and friendly call centre rep who arranged for service at a time most convenient to me. I was already impressed, but when the plumber came as promised, I was overwhelmingly impressed by Mike's expertise, attention to detail, options that suited my budget, friendly and respectful approach and 5-star customer service. He was obviously a master plumber and an outstanding professional. You are awesome! Thank you so much for your stellar service!

    Basement toilet drain

The newer toilet we had installed after the floods in 2013 wouldn't flush, so I called New Canadians, after seeing them in the Etobicoke paper as one of the best plumbing companies....the girl at the office was very pleasant & said she could have someone come that day at 3:00...exactly at 3:00 the truck pulled up. Isaac introduced himself & went straight to work. He tried his camera, but couldn't get it through whatever was there. He thought the drain was broken. The next day Victor and his assistant arrived and jackhammered the floor out, replaced a 3 foot length of broken pipe and quickly cleaned up and were gone! Isaac came back the next day to inspect the work. While he was there, I asked if he could have a look at the toilet upstairs that wouldn't flush properly & he fixed that minor problem. He also came back a few days later to replace a leaking hose on my dishwasher! EXCELLENT SERVICE!! I will keep this company as my "go to" for all plumbing problems!

    Pipe under kitchen sink

Our tenant phoned us because of a corroded copper pipe under the kitchen sink of our condo rental unit and she had a plumber come by who wanted to fix it on the spot and replace it with a plastic part. I'm so thankful I called New Canadian before letting that plumber start--Tracey answered the phone and was extremely helpful and within minutes of sending her a photo, she had shown it to one of their technicians who gave a better quote and more importantly knew enough to ask if these was a condo in which case it had to stay copper and no plastic parts could be used! I called our condo management who confirmed that and thanks to Tracey at New Canadian's help so quickly over the phone, I was able to make a decision with confidence and they sent someone over right away! My tenant said the plumber who came was great, efficient and cleaned everything after he was done. New Canadian saved us from what could've been a very expensive mistake!! Thank you!!!

    Late Call

I called New Canadian Drain and Plumbing at 8:55pm on a Tuesday night, by then, it was the 3rd plumber in the area I tried. New Canadian was the first to actually answer the phone, and better yet, they said they could have a plumber to my house within 1 hour. At first I didn’t believe it, but I was happy someone answered the phone! But, then someone called back in (appx 10 minutes after my original call) and said someone would be at my house in 45 min. The plumber who came was very professional, fast, and knowledgeable. Wasn’t sure if he saw the toys on the ground, but he actually asked if I had children at home (sleeping) so he could do his best to eliminate the noise caused by the fix. End of the day, my non-flushing, leaking, poor excuse for a toilet was fixed, and the kids… still asleep! Strongly recommend.

Repair drain, install elbow to prevent sewer gas backing up.

I am writing this review to compliment the management and workers of this company, who proved themselves to be courteous, efficient, and able to do their job properly and to my satisfaction. They have just completed their work, so I cannot yet comment upon the long-term effects of the job, but I am hopeful that all will work out for the best. My general impression is that this company is well run and that its staff have a good sense of integrity, which reaches to the highest level of management.
