    Backwater Valve & Drain Clog

    Friendly Iman came to diagnose our clogged drain. It was an old external P-trap buried deep under the front yard of our downtown Toronto Victorian. Due to our small lot size and weird century old pipes, our job was more difficult than most. On Iman's advice we replaced the trap with a backflow valve and should get a $1250 rebate from the City. Iman and his workers were professional, communicative, and kept our front yard as clean as possible. Highly recommend! See photos attached

    Backwater Valve & New Floor Drain

    Everybody I dealt with at New Canadian Drain and Plumbing was great! It started with a very pleasant and courteous chat with Nicole at the office to set up a time for an estimate. Then when I had to reschedule I spoke with a different (also very nice) person at the office... But the next day Nicole was nice enough to call me back to reconfirm the time because she noticed it was different in the schedule from when she had originally booked it!! What great attention to detail!! Then on estimate day, Iman came over right on time and I found him to be very knowledgeable, straightforward and he answered all my questions (even the dumb ones!). I found the quote to be reasonable and Iman was able to schedule his team to come in within the next few days to do the work. The crew were awesome, they wasted no time and got right to business and when they were done they cleaned up and left everything in great shape. For the city inspection, Iman kept me up to date with progress (which was slow, but not the fault of Iman or New Canadian D&P). And then for final follow-up, I had a really busy schedule, but Iman was amazingly flexible and he came by in the evening to inspect everything and give me all the necessary paperwork to file for the city rebate. You guys are my first call for everything plumbing/drain related! Thanks for everything!

    Replace part of sewer line

    These guys are amazing! A 1 day job that turned into a 2 day job in a blizzard. They got to work, and stayed at work until the job was done. No extra charges. I would have paid more but they upheld their contact price. These are my plumbers for anything in the future.

    Clogged Toilet

    The service was good, they were polite, fast and got the issue resolved. We had a clogged toilet from a guest and it wasn't flushing down, not sure what they deposited down there but it wouldn't even move with drano and hot water. Thanks for your help.

    water heater connection repair

    new canadian drain were very responsive when i needed them to be, coming in to repair a leaking pipe for my tenant on short notice and on a holiday weekend. both the technician (sheldon) and office administrator (anna) were very helpful.

    Back water valve installation

    I was pleased with the work that was done. The workers were punctual and friendly. They explained to me what they were doing and they cleaned up the area after they were done. Their work came with a 25 year warranty on workmanship and labour. I would recommend them to my friends.

    Sump pump and waterproofing

    We hired New Canadian Drain & Plumbing just before the flooding storms last summer. Our sump pump had broken down and we had water coming through the floor and wall. The job became larger than we anticipated but Malik and his crew were terrific. Malik explained what was required, how much it would cost and how long the job would take. He was there to answer our questions and we have been very happy with their work. This winter our sump pump has experience freezing issues and we had Malik, Isaac and Bob come to sort out the problem. My husband and I can't say enough good things about them. Before we found New Canadian we had a couple of bad experiences with another large plumbing company and we are very glad to have found honest, hard working people at New Canadian. We have recommended them to friends and family. Thank you New Canadian for terrific work and continuing support on any issues that have arisen. Great guys.

    leaking water pipe

    week of January 6-11 we had a major problem with a leaking pipe and a shut off valve that was corroded. We sourced the leak and was fixed but a water pipe burst- water pouring out for two days.. New Canadian Drain fixed the leak within an hour. We are very grateful for this service especially at this time when all plumbing firms were so booked up. Thanks to Jeff

    Blocked sewer pipes and interior waterproofing

    Sewage in the laundry tub led to the miserable discovery that tree roots had completely blocked the sewer pipe four feet inside the house and were intruding steadily in three other places. Malik arrived when he said he would the day after my phone call despite the company being busy with burst pipe repair across the city. We agreed on a price, which was written up carefully and in detail. Five major holes in the basement floor later, all interior pipe was replaced plus a three foot run outside and a backwater valve installed, with the necessary City rebate paperwork handed over and explained in detail. While there were some minor communication issues with the crew, all in all the complexity of the job in a cramped space and old house went well. I appreciated that I could call Malik or the office any time, and both were extremely responsive and professional. Replumbing to code for the laundry appliances and kitchen drain and installation of a new floor drain and hook up of the high efficiency furnace's drain hose were added in to the job, which I appreciated. The cost is still scary, but fair given the sheer amount of work involved. Hire these guys to check the pipes if you're buying a house. It's what we should have done.

    Plumbing

    After another company never showed up after waiting all day, I called New Canadian. (I didn't want to call, because I wanted to use a smaller company, and wanted to have a one to one relationship with a plumber). But, they showed up that very same to night, to totally diagnose the problem and make arrangements to come back and fix the leak. To my surprise, you can also have a one to one relationship with a plumber and continue using the same plumber for future problems. Would I call New Canadian back? YES!
