    Fix stopped up Kitchen drain

Always a bad feeling when you wash some dishes and the water stays in the sink. Usually a little Drano or a quick plunge cures that but when nothing works you call the professionals. We did that and the Priority Plumbing rep was over within and hour. After a quick inspection he told us it wasn't just a blocked kitchen drain but a blocked main down pipe connected to it. Long story short...their people came the next day, removed and replaced the main pipe, the floor drain and the laundry tub. Tough to argue. They worked half the day and did the job which ended up costing quite a bit, e.g. $4000. I can't complain about the work but the cost seemed quite high. Sure, I could have asked them to just do the down pipe and leave but the floor was already busted up and if there were further problems with the parts undone...it would just cost more later. Drains all work fine so I can't complain about anything other than price and the fact they promised to do a camera scope of the main drain but didn't have the camera with them. My recommendation...get a couple of estimates, even if the water isn't flowing.

Emergency trap replacement, backwater valve installation

They came when they said they were going to. They did what they said they were going to do, at the cost they quoted. Everyone was polite and professional - they even sent a thank you card! I will definitely call them again if I need a plumber.

    replacing toilet

After an initial visit did not resolve the underlying problem, Priority Plumbing returned to replace the whole unit. The plumber was fast, polite and tidy, and credited the cost of the first visit towards the final cost of the new toilet.

    Replaced plumbing

Priority Plumbing is the company to use. When dealing with plumbing a lot of unknown things can happen which can change the scope and cost of the job. Thats what happened to me and I'm glad I had the experience and knowledge of the guys at Priority Plumbing to help me navigate through such a difficult time.

We have given them some very difficult jobs. The show up on schedule and don't leave until they succeed. They are very thorough and tidy up before they leave. W highly recommend them.

    Emergency water leak repair

I had had a good experience with Priority in the past, so when our main water line broke we called them up. They did a great job...no complaints there. But they convinced us to sign up for their monthly protection program. Then they harassed my husband with incessant phone calls at work (where he can't answer his phone). We have asked them to remove us from their program, but we are still being charged $8 a month. In short, their work is good - hire them for a single job, but stay away from the ongoing service program...

    Answer from pro:

Dear K I am sorry that you felt pressured to sign up for our monthly service plan that allows you benefits such as no additional charge for emergency service, front of the line booking, and on going safety inspections to ensure your home is in safe operating condition. Regarding the insistent calls, we do call our customers when it is time for their Safety Inspections to set up an appointment. I am sorry that he felt the amount of times he was called was over the top however this is the first I am hearing of this. Had your husband simply called us (we have after hours service and voice mail) or sent us an e-mail indicating that he was not interested we would have stopped. Please call, or e-mail info@priorityplumbing.ca with your name, phone number, and address, and we will remove you from all of our contact lists, as well as stop any monthly charges to your credit card. If we have over charged your credit card in any way please let us know the date that you cancelled you Service Partner Plan and we will gladly refund the money. We take customer satisfaction seriously and hope our actions help to rebuild any relationship that may have been tarnished. Sincerely, Austin Tsakopoulos

    Leaky toilet

I've been a client of Prioirty Plumbing for several several years. Today, my toilet needed a minor adjustment. Greg came to the house on schedule, fixed the problem within minutes and explained what he had done. I would recommend both him and his company highly.

    Drain in Garage Backing Up

My drains were backing up in my garage so I called Priority Plumbing. Greg came out and was informative. He proposed two different options to fix the problem and I was not pressured in any way. We decided to power wash the drains and everything works fine now. I would use Priority plumbing again if I ever require plumbing services in the future.
