    Installation of Plumbing Fixtures

    I just wanted to let you know that Greg did an excellent job on all the plumbing work at my condo on Yonge Street. Greg was very professional, worked well with the staff, understood all the condo rules, knew what needed to be done and performed the job in a very timely manner. I will be recommending Priority Plumbing to my friends.

    installed outdoor tap

    Priority Plumbing is an alleged Top Choice Award winner 5 years running. Their rep was polite, seemed knowledgeable and showed me my options. I signed an agreement for the install of a new outdoor pipe at a cost of $627.00 including tax under the impression that a leak had to first be located, drywall would have to be cut and that it would be a lengthy process. After I'd signed, I was told that the work would take about an hour and a half. The plumber remarked in advance that the pipe had been bent from outside by waterproofers so I'm guessing he may have surmised the leak was at the bend which I later learned was the case. Bottom line, he didn't have to cut drywall to locate the leak and solder, or drill through the exterior wall to install the new pipe and tap. Although he was at the house for 3 hours the actual work took less than 1.5 hours. Although I was thrilled I didn't have to replace drywall, I expressed my stupefaction that I was being asked to pay $627 for a job that took such little time, effort and inexpensive parts to the owner who explained I was covering his high overhead costs. I responded that his business costs are his concern and that the price of each job should reflect parts and labour/time costs exclusively. The company claims to match prices and have a " Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy on their website. High prices that are set in stone and aren't adjusted to reflect the actual time, effort and cost of doing the work would prevent me from using this company again or recommending it.

    It sounds odd that you never mentionioned we damaged your electical wires before? When you called, you said the job was great, the service was amazing, it's just that you wanted 1/2 of your money back, because you know a handyman who subsequently moved out of the city.We are not handymen who work out of our home, we have legitamate business overhead to cover and can not compete with unlicensed, uninsured and irresponsible handymen. Sorry - The Priority Team.

    New Kitchen Faucet

    My kitchen taps were in need of repair, so I looked online and found Priority Plumbing. I was impressed with the website and the fact that they had some good reviews on Homestars so i called them. The plumber Greg was very professional and knowledgable. He took the time to explain my options and that due to the age of my faucet, I may want to consider replacing it as the most cost effective solution long term. He was not pushy at all and he had various models in the truck that saved me the hassle of shopping around. He was able to get the job done in just over an hour. The service was great, the technician was great. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them.

    Installation of new bathroom fixtures

    We always use Priority Plumbing for all of our Plumbing needs. We just moved into a new house and needed to replace the vanity, toilet and shower in the bathroom. We always ask for Mike Colaguori. He has become our family plumber over the years. He recommended which fixtures would fit best and gave me options to choose from. By the next day we had all ne fixtures in the bathroom and he even cleaned up. I highly recommend Mike and Priority Plumbing for all Plumbing requirements.

    Installation of New Kitchen Faucet

    I had been putting off repairing my kitchen faucet for a while and one day it finally gave way. I had to call Priority as the water was steadily flowing and I could not stop it. As usual the girl on the phone was very pleasant. They sent Greg the plumber over and he was very polite. He introduced himself at the door, and wore shoe covers. He advised me that due to the age and model of the old faucet, it may be best to replace it rather than repair it. He showed me various models, it was like bringing the store to my house. It was great. I am very pleased with the new one and I highly reccomend Priority Plumbing.

    bathtub drain was leaking ... a hole in the ceiling needed to be cut to look at it. Price was outrageous!

    the person told me that the pipe could not be changed and said the job could not be done from the lower floor. He said he had to take the toilet out and open a hole in the bathroom floor. I had not anticipated that and asked him to try to do it from underneath. He did it and said he could not guarantee the job was going to last and that it could leak any day...

You asked us to try to repair it from below, after we told you that it would not be a proper repair and that we would not guarantee it.     Clogged Kitchen Sink

    I called Priority Plumbing because I my Kitchen sink suddenly stopped. The lady on the phone was very friendly and kind. When Greg showed up, he was equally as nice and very courteous. He wore shoe covers, used drop sheets and was able to diagnose the problem right away. He offerred me several options to choose from which was great. I chose to power wash the drainline rather than snake it, because I had been dumping a lot of grease down the line and it would have been a re-occuring problem, had I just opted to snake it. He cleaned up the work area and left it smelling ilke a citrus orange smell. I am very impressed with Priority Plumbing. Everything I have read about the high level service was true, and I would definiatley use them again.

    Clogged Kitchen Drain

    Priority Plumbing comes to your home and takes a lot of time to put together 3 options for you to get your kitchen drain unclogged. After more than a 1/2 hour, I was presented with the most expensive option - which was to jet the pipes - at $1,154. The least expensive option to snake the drain would have set me back more than $300 and Greg was skeptical if that would work as he could not pinpoint the clog. Instead, I paid Greg his $49 fee and sent him on his way. My regular guys, who incidentally have a Homestars Star, came later that day. I had called them in the morning, but they were busy, so I told them I'd call them back if I couldn't find someone else, as I was in a pinch. As usual, they arrived, didn't waste my time (pretty great as I have children) and charged me $175 to snake the drain. I told my guy about the experience with Priority earlier in the day and he was incredulous. He said the clog was plain as day. Anyway, this is my first negative review of a company on Homestars, but I feel obligated to report this as I don't think anyone likes to feel ripped off.

    Dear Lisa, You told us that your sink clogs frequently and you have to call someone to clear it repeatedly. This is why we offerred you a permanent solution to your problem, to "jet the pipes". If you add up the cost of everytime you hire someone to snake it, you will see that you are not getting such a hot deal after all. I want to point out that your regular guy did not come when you needed him, did not have the jetter equipment and is happy to charge you $175 3-4 times a year. I do not consider this to be good service and I stand by our method of providing our customers with Fast Service and Relevant options to choose from. I am sorry that you prefer a band aid solution, but most of our clients prefer a more professional approach.

    Sink and shower repair

    When I called Priority the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged an appointment for me the following day with their plumber calling me when he was on the way. Aside from the high quality work which they did, the extra steps the company takes such as putting on slippers when entering your home, and providing a pre-set list of the price for different services make them the company I will deal with whenever I have any plumbing issues in the future.

    New Toilets Installed

    I had purchased 2 new toilets and as my regular choice of companies, i hired Priority Plumbing to install them. Greg did a fantastic job installing them, he made sure they were 100% solid and level. He hauled away the old ones and cleaned up the mess. He was extremely pleasant to deal with. Priority is a good company to deal with. What more can i say, I will continue to use Priority Plumbing.
