    Leak in the cieling

Many thanks Steven and as I told your girl on the phone this morning even before you showed up, I think you guys have excellent customer service. You were here when you said you would, you were very professional and explained everything to me and then again to my wife, you found the leak when 3 other professional contractors before you couldn't and you even answered my questions after the fact. This was the best plumbing experience I have ever had. Thanks again and we'll definitely be recommending you to our friends! Cheers,

    Answer from pro:

This is what sets us apart from other companies. We specialize in Residential Service. This means that we are well trained in determining problems and fixing them. Anyone out of trade school can put together pipes from new, but renovation and new construction Plumbers get lost when troubleshooting. Thank you for choosing Priority Plumbing.

    Well Managed Business

I called Priority Plumbing yesterday because my old laundry tub was leaking again. I have been using Priority Plumbing as well as recommending them to clients for several years now. Mike was very professional as usual, and informed me that to save space in my laundry room, I could install a single laundry tub, in place of the old double tub. I thought that was a great idea! He installed the new laundry tub right away and hauled off the old bags of broken up concrete for me. They cleaned up as usual, and now I have much more room for storage shelving! I will continue to recommend Priority Plumbing to all my friends and family.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks for writing George. Space is one of the most precious comodities in a home these days. Just look at all of the self storage business openning up. A simple modification can help out alot. We always try to improve our customers comfort and lifestyle through our chosen profession by asking questions and providing options that better serve our customers. Thanks for choosing Priority Plumbing. - Austin Tsakopoulos.

putting in a vanity unit with associated plumbing and 2 towel rails onto the wall

Greg came to install the vanity unit. To do the plumbing and put the base 'in situ' followed by the faucets and then the top. The unit came WITH wooden 'feet', which HE did NOT discover till AFTER he'd done the plumbing, by which time it was too late, unless he undid all the work he'd just done. He 'hid' the feet in the 2nd drawer. I KNOW this because in my GLEE I'd been into the bathroom several times before he came back to install it properly-(we had to have official condo people turning off the water which did waste more time) just to 'finally' enjoy having a real vanity in there. I checked each drawer, as one does just for the pleasure of them sliding in and out. A middle aged woman 'thing'- if you will. Naturally all drawers are empty as they should be. He comes the next day and finishes installing. At this point in my excitement I had forgotten about the feet being part of it but stubbing my feet on the base VERY soon reminded me AND finding a 'lump' in the 2nd drawer, cleverly hidden from the top view, (one could see into the top drawers before the top went on which is why he put these 'feet' in LATE, when he UNPACKED them LATE> IF he had unpacked EVERYTHING FIRST, we wouldn't be in this position. I was asked if I'd given them a PICTURE! These plumbers are not in kindergarden! IF one unpacks ALL one finds everything BEFORE one starts. AND to add insult to injury 'Justin' at the office said he would 'believe my plumber over you' and Greg had ALSO put up 2 towel rails that have BOTH since come down, in the last week, and they've only been UP 4-5 weeks in the first place. AND they are TRYING to charge an EXTRA $500 for rectifying GREG's own blunder and pass the buck to us. $500 because HE discovered something late! We don't HAVE $500 to go towards that! And whilst we get no response lately we're STILL stubbing our feet and have paid $1500 for someone not to check everything out FIRST! Thank you.

    Answer from pro:

Hazel, First of all, I would like to mention that I have responded to your concernes each and every time you have called us. I would like to recap the entire job from beginning to end. July 13 we signed a work order to install a customer supplied vanity and 2 faucets, what should have been a one day job, for $1345.00. On july 23rd we sent 2 licensed plumbers downtown to Yonge and Bloor, to complete the work according to the agreement. When we arrived, the water to your unit could not be shut off, so we were un able to complete the work. This is billable time, as the delay was not our fault, and we had 2 plumbers spend 1/2 a day and had scheduled them off for the entire day. We came back on July 27th a second time to complete the work, and this time, the vanity that the manufacturer sent to you was cracked. Whenever we do not supply the parts, we are not responsible for defects of any kind, this is the benefit of us supplying parts,in that you recieve a warranty for our parts and labor. Again we had scheduled 2 licensed plumbers off for an entire day and had sent them home with no work. As when working with any professional, this time is billable as it is not our fault for the delay. We came back a 3rd time to do the work on August 6th, and this time we completed the work according to your instruction and satisfaction and you signed off on the completed work order after inspecting the work. You called us back the next day to say that the feet had not been installed on the vanity. When I asked Greg about it, he said that he knew nothing about it and that you never gave him the feet, verbal or written instructions or a picture, prior to the installation. We did want you to be happy however and tried to rectify the issues with you, so we sent 2 plumbers once again on Aug. 11th, to put the feet on for you. Once again there was a delay, as this time you did not have the screw for the feet you wanted us to install. Once again we had sent 2 licensed plumbers down town and spent half a day. Once again this is billable time since we did not supply the parts or fixtures. It is unfair to say that "we tried to pass the buck to you." After all of this, we submitted an invoice for the additional trips to you, and you refuse to pay us. Therefore we can no longer provide service to you, and for that I am truly sorry. We really tried to make you happy, and if we only had to come back once or even twice to do the work and you had your materials in order, we wouldn't have even bothered billing you any extra time. We simply do not turn our backs on our customers. We feel like your Review is a misleading representation of our company, and our culture of customer service. I can only hope that people reading this will understand our position, not hold this against us, read and focus on the very many positive reviews we have recieved. Thank You. Austin

    Sink hook up

They initially quoted me at $1,800 to hook up my sink that was already dropped in the counter top. I told them no and they dropped their price to half. Only took them 1.5 hours to finish. Afterwards, the drain trap leaked and the faucet was loose. This company is very unethical to charge so much. I will never call them again. From now on I will stay away from franchise plumbers and go with independent contractors.

    Answer from pro:

I must say, I am surprised to hear that giving you a GREAT deal is the cause of your dis satisfaction. Most people would be happy to recieve such a low price. The initial quote was for $1,300, NOT $1,800. We knocked off $400, because we did not have another call to go to. We chose to lower our price and keep our man working, rather than sending him home with no job. You just got lucky because it was an unusually slow day. I explained the price before we started and you agreed. Furthermore, when we cam back to solve the leak, there was no leak and the faucet that you supplied was defective. In the end there was no problem with our work. You fiance was extremely Happy with us when I called to follow up with her and she said that you would revise the review. I guess that you only write when you are upset. It is unfair to call us incompetent and un-ethical, when we came back to fix a problem that was not our fault, you were given the price up front and this job was not an emergency, and your Fiance is very pleased with our services.

    New toilet

The service was quick and efficient. Our toilet was older than we thought it was when we first moved into our home. After about 7 years living in our home, our toilet began having difficulty flushing, we called for help and it was a good decision.

    New shower taps

I called Priority Plumbing this morning because my shower would not turn off. Greg arrived within 2 hours of my call and was very courteous and professional. He was honest and explained that the cartridge could be replaced, but since it was so old and corroded, I opted to replace it. He had a selection to choose from and over all I am very impressed with his professionalism. Within a few hours, my shower was fixed. Thank you, Greg and Priority Plumbing.

Main Water Line Broken and Leaking

I called Priority Plumbing yesterday because I discovered my main shut of valve in the basement was leaking. Greg arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He explained that due to the age of the valve that he would have to replace it. Since the city cooperated and managed to turn off the water the same day, I had my main shut off replaced within 3 hours. I would recommend Priority Plumbing and Greg to anyone who experiences Plumbing issues big or small.

Emergency No Water In The House

I called Priority Plumbing this morning, because I woke up to discover I had no water in the house. Steven arrived within the appointed time and was very friendly and professional. Within an hour I had running water again. I even signed up for their Service Partner Plan, which entitles me to, among other things, front of the line service should this ever happen again. Thank you, Steven and Priority Plumbing.

Plugged Bathroom Sink and Toilet Repair

I called Priority Plumbing today because my bathroom sink wasn’t draining properly. Mike arrived and was very polite. He quickly discovered wads of hair in the piping. After snaking the drain, it now drains fine. He was professional enough to ask me questions about my plumbing that reminded me of another issue with the downstairs toilet, so I had him fix that two. He was very helpful, kind and professional. I recommend Priority Plumbing to anyone who needs an honest and reliable Plumber.

unclog bathroom drain and tighten kitchen fawcet

Michael was on time, very courteous, efficient, clear, and personable. He gave me three different options and his recommendation on what would be best given the circumstances. He gave me the price up front, fixed the problem, and kept to the price in the end. I would recommend Priority Plumming. Their service is excellent from the first phone call to the final follow-up call to ask about your satisfaction of the job.
