Misdiagnosed issue
Answer from pro:
Thanks for taking the time out to do a review and to follow up on that review. We have no control over Google reviews. No one does. So not sure why you were following up by doing another review on what happened to your other review and that we had something to do with it. I always embrace reviews as we learn to improve our business and congratulate and follow the path of jobs and performances well done. Unfortunately, your review really does not help me with either. The person who came to your house is Rick and he has been with the company for over 30 years and has learned the job from the trench out. He is very knowledgeable, polite, and courteous. He is a true gentleman on and off the job. He wears his uniform with pride, is punctual, and is a great listener. We talked about your project, and he said he was happy with his assessment of your property and was at your place for an hour and provided you with a permanent solution on how to fix your basement. Which included the city of Burlington paying for almost 1/3 of the repair. Maybe another contractor could offer this as he was not authorized by the city of Burlington to do so. Therefore they offered a temporary solution. There are all sorts of patches that you can try to fix a basement leak, but we don’t offer patches. We talk about this on our website and we guarantee all our work for a lifetime. All our staff is trained to solve basement leaks permanently for the least amount of property disturbance and cost. For some homes, more work needs to be done to solve the issue. We always encourage people to get a few quotes so they can compare not only pricing but the actual solution being offered and the experience of the person or company providing it. I hope your patch repair works out for you. But these repairs are what you try as a homeowner first not what you hire a professional to do. for that is going to provide a lifetime warranty. There are only 2 companies that have been around more than 25 years and that should tell you how much a warranty written on a piece of paper is worth. We thank you for the opportunity to look at your project and quote. We will be glad to help if you ever need further work needed that involves a permanent solution. We hope this also helps anyone reading our response. Tony Romanelli - President RCC Waterproofing
