    Painless Long Distance Move (Toronto to Ottawa)

    Excellent job all around! I received great service from Amanda in setting up the move logistics. On the morning of the move Joshua, Tyrell and Anthony showed up on time and got everything wrapped-up and loaded with no issues. They came well prepared with blankets, wrap, dollies and even a rolled out carpet to protect the flooring so my stuff was handled without any concerns (I added a TV and glass table top box request at an additional fee which gave me peace of mind as well). The move-in was scheduled the next morning, and again everything was on time and done extremely well. The final invoice came out lower than the original estimate as they recognized that the weight was lower than predicted. I definitely would use this company again and would recommend them to anyone looking into a long-distance move.

    Move

    We had Rent-a-Son help us with our move last week. They were incredible. They arrived early, were very friendly, efficient and took very good care of our stuff. We had Shane and his team - I cannot believe how they took the stress out of moving day. Highly recommend them.

    Move Mum into an assisted living residence

    Mum had a stroke and needed to move from our house to an assisted living residence. Emotions were running high and our Rent-a-Son team navigated us through the storm. They were so gentle, professional, efficient and just amazing. Expectations were exceeded from the time I first called to the time they said goodbye at Mum's new home and they gave me a much needed hug. Unparalleled professionalism. Can't recommend them enough.

    Move

    Total Sweethearts all around. My move was planned by Erika who was very patients with my many modifications and my movers were insanely speedy and efficient. I was very nervous with this move, especially considering the cost of moving in Toronto but I 100% believe they were worth it.

    Moving apartment to apartment

    The team of three men worked fast and carefully. Finished under the time quoted and were a joy to deal with. Erika, coordinator, was fantastic as well.

    Saved me from not so honest movers

    I had called a small company with an add on Kijiji, for the same job they said it would be $ 250.00 after filled u-haul 1/3 they stopped and then asked for $ 650.00 more to finish the job not respecting what we agreed on, so I called Jenn at Rent-A-Son and she did a miracle by sending me her movers in the afternoon and saved the day. Not only did they got the job down perfect there attention, caring was way above standard. And everything we agreed on was respected and the price was good. Thanks For a great job done Jenn and the 3 movers sorry that I don t know your name. it was a small job but they cared like it was a big job. thanks again

    Moving from Toronto to Whitby

    Excellent service from first contact with Jenn, the moving coordinator, to the completion of the job. Our family and small business have made many moves over more than thirty years and this one was truly the most successful and least stressful. The foreman, Daniel, is an impressive leader - intelligent, thoughtful, experienced, calm - and incredibly strong. He and his team of two other great guys made our somewhat complicated move seem easy with great teamwork, co-operation and quiet efficiency. Rent-a-Son Rocks!

    Moving

    Rent-a-Son helped with my move from Toronto to Hamilton. The staff (Julian, Alex and Bryan) were incredible. I had a tight timeline (moving out of a condo with limited access to the loading dock) they met it with time to spare. All three were fast, efficient and super polite. I also appreciated how careful they were with all of my furniture and breakables. An added shout-out to Erika who helped with my quote and booking and provided great follow up. The whole team really made my move stress free. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.
