In Fall of 2013, I used Rent-A-Son when I moved to my new place. I got quotes from several companies, but found the customer service rep at Rent-A-Son to be the most helpful in figuring out what I needed, and I was pleased to know that if the job was finished sooner that I would only be charged for the time used.
On the day of the move, we were very impressed with the crew who came. Given that they were being paid by the hour, you might have thought that they would stretch the time out, but they didn't. They weren't just efficient, they actually "hustled" - we saw them jogging down the ramp from the truck after loading something, as they went to get the next load. They kept things tidy, were respectful of our property and of us, and sure enough, they finished the job in less time than expected, even though they took care of a few extras that we had not included in the original estimate.
Finally, one member of the crew had been a couple of minutes late arriving at the site in the morning, and I was so impressed that the final bill reflected a deduction to the cost to account for that, without my having to ask. Overall, I found the level of professionalism shown by Rent-A-Son to be extraordinary, and I would not hesitate to refer them to others. In fact, my sister moved a couple of months later, and I suggested she call them. She did, and was very pleased with their work and the final cost, which was again less than they had quoted because of the speed and efficiency of the crew.
