I chose Safetech Alarms for a few reasons, they offered me exactly the system I was looking for. With the help from the Safetech rep I was able to tailor exactly the kind of system I was looking for. He was knowledgeable and never did I feel pressured. They were able to set up an install date withing my time frame and when the installer came by I was treated like a VIP. The technician was competent, was able to answer my questions and cleaned up after he was done. I will definitely recommend Safetech to all my friends and family.

I have been approached by an alarm system representative and a second home security dealer offering their services. Although the first alarm system company is known to be one of the biggest players in the security business, I still did my homework and researched for more security providers. I searched online and came across SafeTech. I sent an inquiry via email and a gentleman named Sam Sabarinath replied and promptly gave me a call. Luckily he also lives within my area and he kindly offered to inspect my home even after regular office hours. He is truly a gem in your company. He was never pushy like the first representative and other dealers and he has a very friendly demeanor. He offered me a great package and even if I paid a little more, I know I am paying for a great service. Truly this is money well spent and I am glad to have chosen SafeTech. Our business started the services with Safetech 9 years back, and we continue to rely on them for all our security needs. Any time we have an alarm or a question, we get a prompt call back. We are sure to recommend them.

I called Safetech for the first time on a Friday and they were able to get a technician to my house on the very next day, which was a great help for my family which was anxious after a recent break-in. The installer was very professional and went above and beyond to install the alarm system - my old house provided more challenges than you might expect. The only negative I can mention is that while the installation was originally supposed to be free, we ended up spendng about $400 - this was due to the fact that our house required wireless sensors on the windows, due to it's construction with the walls directly over the foundation. Not the fault of Safetech or the installer, but it would have been good to know that there was the potential for this cost upfront.

We recently moved into a new home, with lots of windows and doors occupying its space. We wanted all the windows and doors connected, since we wanted some peace of mind when our home was left vacant. We also put some smoke detectors, which gave us a discound on our home insurance. Our sales representative was knowledgeable and helped us with integrity. He wasn't pushy and even let us ask all questions, even the silly ones. We did a lot of research with other alarm companies, but SafeTech was, by far, the most knowledgeable. BONUS: SafeTech caters to your schedule. Since we both work full-time jobs, the technician came to our house to install the security system at 8pm at night! They also have a technical support department to answer all troubleshooting from Mondays to Saturdays. Good job SafeTech! I will definitely refer you to friends and family!

We contacted a few companies to get quotes on installating an alarm system. The owner was helpful, courteous and responsive to our needs. The installation was the issue. The gentleman that came to our home did not clean up after he was finished. He made a hole in the wall and then changed his mind and moved the panel up higher. There was dust and wall fibres from his drilling that he simply left as is and those were left as a present to us - he did not mention that any clean-up was required. Our home is now being monitored in a satisfactory manner. All in all, the system was free, but you are contractually obligated to participate in the monitoring as a result and that is for a duration of three years. Update ------ August 2013 Apparently, we were misled. Once we completed the three year of monitoring we were contractually obligated to comply with, I called to terminate the monitoring and was told we were misled. That if we did not continue, we would either have to pay an additional 250 dollars to own the system, or continue for another three years, at which point, we would be able to terminate, or they could come and remove the unit. As for the repairs to my wall - we would need to fix the damage created by the installation of the unit. Would I go with this company again? No. The cost is not the issue. The constant back and forth is. We will buy the unit outright and that will be the end of that.

I made alot of inquiries to alot of different alarm companies. SafeTech was knowledgeable about the products available and guided me through exactly what was needed for my house. They explained the differences in the types of cameras and guided me through making an informed purchase. The job turned out great. I can see my cameras from my office or when I travel on business. I'm very happy with the quality of the equipment and installation, and wouldn't hesistate to recommend them to friends and family.

I have to admit after reading an earlier posting I was a little nervous about this company so I did my own investigation. Turns out the company has been providing security services for nearly 20 years, they are members of CANASA, ULC Listed (most are not) and have a local Toronto monitoring station (most do not), in addition they have a fairly impressive client base. I therefore insist on having a sales representative come out to my place of business to both check him out and get some advice on how to best secure my apparel store. That same day in walks Sean from Safetech. He recommends among other things an alarm system that will cover all areas, windows and doors, along with fire and flood protection. He even points out that the building sprinkler system can be connected to my alarm. The price was good so I agree to have the work done. Two days later the alarm is in and working fine. The technician Igor was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and demonstrated to me how to operate the system. After witnessing the competent alarm installation I decided to let Safetech proceed with installing window bars on my front door and large front window. The very next day Bill shows up with a white gate for my door, white solid steel bars for my window and he promptly gets to work, securely mounting all bars to the inside frame. Once installed the bars looked great and could barely be noticed from the outside. Next, with my newly inspired confidence in all things security, I decide to have cameras installed (front, back, POS and stock room). In comes Mr. IT himself Dave who proceeds to connect each security camera to a video recording device, which I later am able to remotely log into from home using the internet. Apart from having a slight hic up with a bad reuter in the beginning now the video works flawlessly. I love how easy the windows based software is to use and navigate. Shortly thereafter, I received a follow up call from Safetech client service representative Sherry wondering if I had received my proof of alarm installation certificate which is to be given to my insurer - which yes I did already receive, then she enquired if there was any further assistance I may need and yes I had some questions, which she then took the time to patiently answer. Wow how professional from start to finish this entire process has been, such terrific service! This is a great team of people focused on you -the client. I would highly recommend the Safetech team and their multi layer, turn key security service. You will not be disappointed!
