Reading reviews for Joe, he seemed almost too good to be true. Believe me they are all 100% accurate. This is the best experience I have ever had with any repair person / contractor in my life. Joe responded to my original email / phone call promptly, asked for detailed information regarding my issue and was able to give an approximate estimate immediately (with range depending on actual problem found). It took us a couple of days to connect but he was so (unnecessarily) apologetic and persistent in finding a time that accommodated us both it was almost unbelievable. While on site, Joe went out of his way to explain what the problem was, provided tips for me to follow in the future, and letting me know where potential future problems may occur. His initial estimates of the underlying issue and costs to repair were very accurate. I will definitely be calling Joe again if the need arises, and will be recommending him to anyone I can.

Great experience from initial phone call to job completion. Joe returned my call within half an hour and reassured me he was familiar with my issue (plugged freezer drain) and arranged to come by the next day. Will definitely call Joe again for any needed repairs.

On Monday night our washer inexplicably broke during use and started leaking water. I called Joe at 8:20 the next morning. Joe returned my call and was on site at 1:30 pm the same day, completing the job at 2:05 pm. He was professional, friendly and continually explained to me the process as he diagnosed, identified and resolved the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable and I discovered he has over 30 years of experience in the business. Joe was courteous and always attempted the most cost effective solution possible, every time!. It was my second experience with Joe and I have recommended Joe to friends. If you are ever in need of any kind of appliance repair, I would highly recommend Joe. I don't even look around for quotes, I go right to what works and is fair.

I had a full house with company coming last week, when...the new HD dryer STOPPED. I called Joe in a panic. Joe confirmed the appointment in the morning and arrived on time for the service call. He successfully repaired our dryer within a short time frame. He took the time to explain things, which was much appreciated. He is friendly, courteous and a very neat worker. You could tell by the way he worked that he was very knowledgeable and experienced and got directly to the problem. And he is also Honest. Joe, I just wanted to thanks you for the quick response and fast turn around time on repairing the washing machine. All I had to do was explain the problem over the phone, provide you with the make of the machine and you came with the parts ready to go. Great service! I just wanted to mention that I almost mistakenly called the other company with the similar name. Very glad I didn't make that mistake. I found Joe here on homestar called and he came that same morning to fix the dryer. It needed two parts that he had on him and he checked everything before he left. Make sure you get The Appliance Guy, not The appliance repair guys. I highly recommend Joe, he knows what he's doing, he's informative and he's a nice guy too.

Joe came by the very next day after I phoned him and fixed both my washing machine and gas dryer for one service fee. He had all the parts with him and didn't need to waste any time ordering them in, so everything was fixed in just over an hour. He checked both to make sure they were working properly, and even told us the history behind each brand. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and gave us a fair price. Very highly recommended!
