A neighbour gave me Joe's number ( the Appliance Guy) as a referral. I'd been trying to source out a repair person to take on the job of replacing the circuit board on my 11 year old stove. I called and left a message for Joe and within the hour he'd called me back. Impressive! I provided the stove serial number and he promptly ordered the part and advised me he would likely be able to do the repair job that same week. We scheduled the repair job for that friday. I told him - if possible - could he schedule me for earlier in the morning so that i might be able to head back to work for the pm. Sure enough Joe arrive as planned early that friday morning. Joe was clean, organized, and very careful with my older stove which i really appreciated. He made sure to test the repaired stove to ensure that the new part was working properly. I can't tell Joe how much i appreciated his experience and great customer service as well as reasonable pricing. There are not many businesses offering this level of care. Thanks so much for giving my 11 year old stove new life!

My Whirlpool freezer was collecting ice and leaking water onto my laminate floor. I contacted Joe after reading all of the positive reviews on Home Stars. When I described the problem to Joe he knew immediately what the problem was, how to fix it and the price. Joe came within 30 minutes and got to work and fixed the problem. Joe charged me exactly what he said on the phone. It's been a week since the problem and I haven't had any issues. Joe has a lot of knowledge and experience and told me exactly how to maintain my fridge going forward. Based on my experience I definitely recommend Joe The Appliance Guy.

I called Joe to come out and take a look at our 10 Year old Dishwasher ...we moved into our home 5 years ago and in truth it never really has worked properly , but finally completely gave out . Joe came quite promptly , took a look and agreed that our front panel was shot . He took a look and took it apart and it really was a disaster . He could fix it but it would cost us $250 and it would make more sense to just replace the dishwasher . I appreciated his honesty . He was also great about sharing his knowledge on what models to steer away from and which ones would be worth our money . Exactly 1 week later , our fridge died , specifically the freezer . In a panic because of all the meats and foods going bad I called Joe and asked him to come a.s.a.p. , which he did . Thankfully it was not our compressor but still there was work to be done and parts to be replaced. Joe did it all in a very efficient and professional manner and then waited patiently for my husband to return from the bank with his cash . I now have Joe on Speed dial and will without a doubt be using him for all future services.

First the top broiler element burned out, then the lower bake element failed. We liked this older built into the wall oven and really did not want to go to the much greater expense of replacing it. We had brought Joseph in a year or so ago and he had quickly repaired our dishwasher so we decided to call the appliance guy again to see what he could do for the oven. He had the necessary elements in his truck and within an hour oven had been pulled from its wall location and the elements were installed and the oven reinstalled - good as new again. Thanks Joseph

I found Joe on Homestars and was hoping the raving reviews were accurate. We called him in the evening and he called back the very next morning and was able to even fit us in that same morning! He was knowledgeable, friendly and got the job done quickly. He is our new favourite repair guy for appliances and we would absolutely call him again.

Our dishwasher started leaking all over the floor, and someone recommended Joe The Appliance Guy to us - so we gave him a call. He came quickly and was able to diagnose the problem efficiently. He is obviously knowledgeable and experienced. I appreciated that he keeps parts in his car, so he was able to fix the dishwasher immediately. He explained to me what was broken and how he fixed it, and he gave me tips for preserving the good function of the dishwasher in the future, very helpful. Will call him again!

Joe has repaired both my range and my dishwasher (on different occasions). He is very courteous and knowledgable. Repairs were done on the same day as the service call (he had the needed parts on hand) and he is fairly priced. I have recommended him to friends and clients.

We have a beautiful 3 year old KitchenAid Fridge which we love however the freezer started causing problems and leaking; flooding our floor. My husband sourced Joe today and within an hour of our call, Joe came by and remedied the problem on the spot. Joe was fast, friendly, resourceful, knowledgeable and his price was very, very reasonable. After this first experience we will be calling him again if/when we need another appliance repaired.

When my washing machine suddenly stopped draining water, I took to the internet to try and find a solution to the problem. Having figured out what was the likely issue, I went about trying to find somebody to help me. The first people I approached were not very helpful, quoted me an obscene price, and had me questioning whether or not it was worth it to repair my machine, or simply shell out money for a new one. Then I found Joe's company online, and I am so glad I did! What an amazing man! Joe was very courteous, and very quick in responding to my phone call. He knew right away what the problem was with my machine, and very quickly set up a time to come by and take a look. He was incredibly punctual for the appointment, and polite throughout. He had the necessary part with him, the repair took minutes, and in addition to doing a fantastic job, Joe gave me advice on the care and maintenance of my dryer as well. His price was incredibly fair, and I'm so glad I didn't decide to throw out my machine. Overall, I can't say how happy I am that I found Joe's company. I will not hesitate to use him for whatever else comes up with my appliances. He's an incredibly honest person, and I will absolutely, 100% refer everyone I know to him. Thanks again, Joe!

returned from a recent trip to find that my dryer wasn't working (no heat). Called Joe in the morning and he returned my call within the hour providing two possible dates that he could be here to look at the issue (that day or 2 days later). He told me he would call me back within 30 minutes with a definitive date and within 30 minutes he called to say he was on his way over. Fixed the issue in an hour, but prior to that, after doing some diagnostic work, he informed me of a ballpark price for the repair. Great service, will definitely call Joe again when I have issues with other appliances.
