    Service call

    Joe, the owner, responded immediately and was at our home within an hour to assess our broken refrigerator. He gave me great advice, which was that he could fix the compressor, but because parts alone were $500+ it's not worth it. Better to replace it. He even gave me helpful tips on which fridges to buy (and to not buy) and how to maintain and clean our dishwasher. I'd recommend Joe to anyone without hesitation because he's a true professional!

    Broken Dryer

    I had an overheating dryer and called Joe. He fit me in his schedule the next day and fixed the issue in minutes. He is punctual, knowledgeable and reliable. This was almost 2 years ago and they dryer is still working well.

    Refridgerator repair

    Discovering that my refridgerator was not working this morning was upsetting, and when I called The Appliance Guy (Joe), I was calmly reassured that he would be able to repair it and placed me first on his list of calls for the day. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. He competently replaced a part and had my fridge running within half an hour. I would not hesitate to call him for any appliance repair and will highly recommend him to my family and friends. Thanks again, Joe.

    Washer / dryer maintenance & repair

    Joe was professional and is obviously dedicated to his job. Be careful about another company out there with a similar name. If it's not "The Appliance Guy", it's the wrong guy. Joe took extra effort to fit us in before his vacation began, and when he was here he gave us practical advice about our problem without trying to sell us an expensive fix that may not have repaired the problem in the end. I highly recommend him.

    Washer Repair

    I had a washer that was no longer agitating and found Joe after reading reviews on this site. I am glad that I gave him a call. I almost booked a weekend appointment with a company using a similar name, but thankfully did some last minute research and decided not to (make sure you check for yourself if you are considering.) Joe is experienced, very friendly, and efficient. After quickly diagnosing the issue, he was able to replace a broken part with a new one that he had with him onsite, and the washer was up and running in less than an hour. I do not usually write these type of reviews, but felt compelled to after this positive experience, in particular after reading some of the poor experiences that people have had with other vendors.

    refrigerator repair

    We thought we might have to buy a new refrigerator, but Joe solved the problem and it runs better than ever. He replied quickly and courteously and was very friendly and helpful. I'd trust his advice on any appliance repairs I have to make in the future.

    Washing Machine Repair

    Look no further than The Appliance Guy! Joe responded promptly to my call, and was able to fit me in on his route for the day in under an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the broken parts with superior, more up-to-date parts. He also gave me tips on how to use the washer's self-leveling feature, of which I had been unaware. I appreciated that he was able to advise me that this machine, while not new, is worth repairing as it is well made. He had the unit up and running in great time. Would readily recommend his services!

    Gas oven repair

    I found Joe's company online and called him about our gas oven which was not functioning properly. Within 24 hours we set a time for him to visit, and he diagnosed and fixed our oven within 10 minutes. It now functions perfectly. Fast, knowledgeable, professional and a good guy. We will recommend to friends. Satisfied customer with piece of mind.

    Gas Stove - Oven stopped working

    Our 3 1/2 year old GE Gas oven stopped working last week. The repair technician recommended by the warranty company could not come to see the oven until next week. Not wanting to wait that long, I looked up Joe "The Appliance Guy". Gave him a call and within 24 hours he had visited our house and repaired the faulty ignitor assembly. He was very responsive to all phone and email and worked with me to come to our house based on my schedule. He was very friendly and explained everything along the way as he was diagnosing the problem. He researched the oven the night before and brought along the part that he thought would be the issue. He had it all fixed and tested within 20 minutes of arriving. I would not hesitate to call on him again and refer him to all who need a reliable, responsive, customer service oriented repair service. Thanks again Joe for your hard work. You will be my first call the next time we have any appliance issues. Cheers, Blake

    Refrigerator Repair

    2013: My fridge stopped working overnight. I called this company because I saw very good reviews. Joe called me, and worked his schedule so that he was able to come by the next morning. He had already planned for the make and model of the fridge and had the right part on hand. He was able to fix the fridge. 2021: I called again years later and left a message because I had an oven issue and found this number in my phone. A few days later I received a call from Joe who was extremely irate and told me he couldn't get through to me due to my phone having issues. He went on for about 2 minutes scolding me and yelling about how I have a telecom issue and that no one can get ahold of me. When i asked him to stop yelling at me, he yelled "we're done!" and hung up. I couldn't believe that a repeat customer would be treated so rudely. While it's been a rough year for most, there's no reason to treat people poorly, especially customers who have used and recommended service before. While I am sure he could have fixed the appliance, there appears to be some serious anger issues, which when directed at paying customers, are simply unacceptable. Although I had one positive experience many years ago, things have definitely taken a turn on the customer service side and I would definitely not recommend him at all. While I wish everyone the best, I always have and always will draw the line at unprofessional rudeness.
