    Great house buying experience

    I highly recommendate to buy house from TricoHomes. I am new to Calgary and buy house as first home buyer, Their sales and services are really great, after I move to home, they came to fix all issues I concerned and explained all questions to me quickly. My house buying experience is actually meet and over my expectation. And house quality is good!

    Viridian condo

    My boyfriend and I were were both first time home buyers when we bought this condo. From the start the experience was excellent. We were able to walk through two beautiful showrooms and from there was able to choose our colour scheme from a variety of different options. The customer service from start to finish was amazing. All of our questions were answered and we felt safe choosing Trico Homes as we had only heard good things about the company. Once we moved in there were a few things that were missed (they forgot to install the fan in our bedroom), and there were some paint jobs needing to be done. Before we were even done our walk-through, the painter came to fix the small nicks that we saw and they were able to install the fan within an hour of us leaving. We were so happy with how quickly everyone moved to ensure we could move in later that day with no issues. Overall, the entire experience was easy and we love everything about our condo. I can safely say that we would not only recommend Trico Homes to our friends and family, but would also buy from them again.

    New home build

    All the Trico team members were a pleasure to work with. Always prompt and fantastic personalities. We had the delight of working with Carmen and Taylor. We bought a spec home however look forward the future of working with them again!

    New home was never put right

    Bought this home in Mahogany in good faith and found out that Trico uses the cheapest products they can that look good but are very low quality. Discontinued plumbing faucets that constantly need new cartridges, "hardwood" flooring that was a colour layer on it that is so thin that the slightest disturbance chips the floor. Kitchen cabinets that are mahogany brown outside and bleched oak inside, with dark coloured strips on the stiles to hide the difference in color. I'm selling soon not to leave the community but to buy a better house from a quality builder. They did fix the inconsequential items on my punch list, but nothing that would cost them money. Steer clear, they're not an ethical company!

    Standard practise answer for any issue is not acceptable.

    The eaves trough pipe lands on someone else's property: STANDARD PRACTICE, (this is the case of 90% houses in my block of Redstone) paid for upgraded kitchen sink to get one side bigger for reason of insanity but have the garburator installed on the smaller side: STANDARD PRACTICE, if you inquire why the door without any over head cover open outwards as it will not open in case of getting snowed in as we live in Calgary: STANDARD PRACTICE. The sales team is great, the service team could do better as someone just bought a HOUSE worth half a million and get the answer STANDARD PRACTICE is not acceptable. If I want to find someone to fix these issues I can google a service technician I don't want to call someone who already made the standard practice mistake.

Throughout the industry. it's not uncommon to install the garburator in the smaller sink. The door swing in the nook typically swings out so that it doesn't hit your nook furniture; giving you more space in this area when opening the door. Downspouts can easily be turned or an soft extension added to direct water away from your neighbors property. We would be happy to send a service technician to look at this and turn in a different direction. I want to assure you that Trico Homes will look into any concerns you have.     Plumbing

    We purchased our second new Trico home 3 years ago and had a good experience with our first purchase. However we have had 5 separate issues with the plumbing at our new home. 2 issues involved faulty toilets which Trico did replace for us as it was a manufacturing problem. The other 3 issues involved various failures in pipes within the home. The most recent issue was a failure of a connection in our living room ceiling which resulted in the plumber having to cut a hole in it to repair as water was leaking in the ceiling. The problem was a poor crimp and it means we will have to replace the cut out with new drywall. After contacting the warranty department at Trico we were told we are on our own as it was past the 2 year warranty period. Pretty poor performance in my view and I would not be able to recommend Trico to others based on the plumbing issues.

    New Home Purchase

    After we had made the decision to move into Airdrie, we had an idea of both the home and location we wanted. We had searched various neighborhoods where we thought we wanted to live. Midtown crossed off everything we wanted in a home with both style and location. There are a few builders in that area and we toured all the show homes. When we went into Trico's show home, we were met by Taylor. She was dressed professionally and greeted us with a warm smile. After touring their homes, we said our goodbye's and did not feel pressured into further conversations or the need to buy their product on the spot. My wife and I really liked all the amenities our future location had to offer and as stated earlier, Midtown crossed off the location part to a tee. We met again with Taylor and the purchase process was started. She laid out what was required by us and what would be provided by Trico. Taylor and her team, from start to finish, did as they said they would do. Taylor went to bat for us regarding the possession date as the time frame laid out would not have been achievable so our possession date was moved which benefited us greatly. When we did our walk through, she was very helpful in locating any small deficiencies that we may have missed. All in all, we were very happy with the service, professionalism and honesty that was put forth by Taylor, her associates and the final walk through personnel. Would we recommend Trico? We already have. Thank you Taylor! We definitely appreciated all your efforts!

    Viridian Condo

    Cindy, our sales associate made the whole experience amazing and took the stress of purchasing a new home out of the equation. The Construction team did exceptional work on the home and their attention to detail is unrivaled. Darren, our Warranty Teqch professional, knowledgable and made possesion day a lot of fun!     Satisfied customer in Riverstone

    Trico was top notch to deal with from the time we started looking at floor plans, all the way to possession. Sharon & her team were great to deal with at the showhome, ensuring we were getting the best deal possible and understood the process from start to finish. It was a smooth transition to Clayton and his team for the construction phase. Any issues were quick to get resolved. Would recommend Trico to friends & family!

    New house

    We bought our house with Trici in February. Our sales manager kept us updated during the build he send pictures and responsed quickly regarding our concerns. After we took possession of the house there were some concerns which was responded and fixed on time. I recommend Trico homes because of good service.
