    Building a new home

    Our sales person and people were very helpful. They put us at ease and answered all of our questions. The house was done on time. The trades people did a great job. Friends of ours built with another builder and did not have as good experience as we have. We are very happy with our new home.

    Buying home

    They were very easy to sell the property. Told lot of stories about discount , money giveback and options in design center and the experience was horrible to get as much money as possible for their delay and penalize the customer. Now for the possession date, they are forcing me for a date where I am not comfortable. Asking me to take possession on the same date as walk through or make payment before walk through. Wanted $300 if I had to change date which I had not agreed. Customers dont have option, we choose the date and you need to make arrangement to come to that date and exception is allowed only if someone in the family is dead is the answer from trico as we have make our monthly financial commitment so you need to pay the money is the answer from trico. What a company and how they treat customer as beggars

    Home Builder

    Chalsey (showhomes) and Alexandra (Ascent Studio) were very professional and very accomodating. They gave us suggestions focused on what we want and not on how much the company will earn. They gave us ideas on how can we improve the looks of the house without spending too much. During construction stage, we received weekly updates with photos from Trico, which gave us the time to prepare for the possession of the house.

    New Home

    Trico made our first-time home buying experience an enjoyable and simple process. Kept us in the loop at all major milestones during construction with emails and pictures of our home. Great finished product!

    Legacy Duplex

    Everyone at Trico Homes was very helpful and reliable through our new home build! This was our second home purchase and was 100% better than our first build through a different builder. They communicated well from start to finish and provided us with a lovely finished product. We are very happy in our new home! I would definitely tell my friends and family to build with Trico.

    New Home

    What a fantastic experience with Trico. We would recommend this builder to anyone, and already have to many of our friends. The experience with Trico was fantastic from start to finish. They communicated with us regularly - consistently sending us pictures of the work progress both inside and out. After we moved in, obviously there were issues. Anyone who builds a new home and expects perfection isn't doing themselves any favors. The thing that impressed us the most about Trico was how they handled the issues (and all the issues were minor). They were extremely easy to communicate with, they were responsive, and best of all, things got done. The site supervisor was amazing, incredibly responsive and understanding, friendly and dedicated to ensuring that our experience with this builder was a great one. We highly recommend Trico - if you're looking for a builder who will listen to you, take you seriously, and be responsive and responsible, this is the builder to go with. We also want to personally extend a huge thanks to Jae, the site supervisor. I have to say I've not encountered many people in my life who have more of a desire to keep customers happy and satisfied. Jae defines "above and beyond" - this guy is amazing and is the biggest reason we are so thrilled with Trico.

    New Home

    The Trico team has made our experience buying our first home wonderful! From the sales team, to the Design Center to the warranty team - they all have been very professional and pleasant to deal with.

    new home

    So disappointed with the " nothing is perfect" company. Our possession date is Feb 26, 2015. But on possession date, no mirrors, dish washer was not hookup, water line to fridge was not hooked up. (still have other deficiencies, but I accept those can a little bit late) The staff 100% promised all these can be completed next day. I believed. But the next day, only dish washer was hook up. We have to contact Trico, then we get another 100% promise, not only the above issues can be solved on Monday (which means 5 days later than possession date), but also the relationship department will contact us due to this issue (per discuss, that shows Trico really care customers). But on Monday, I contacted Trico told them I feel unhappy, because I didn't received any feedback from relationship department, I really don't know if Trico care customers or not. But the answer I got is: "Nothing is ever perfect". I told them I feel really unhappy, and the answer is: What more I like Trico to do? So far, I really don't know how Trico care customers. Under New Alberta home warranty program, my new home should be followed within 1 year. I will follow and record what Trico do. I hope Trico can care their customers, hopefully I can feel happy in the later.

    Legacy Duplex

    It has been almost a year since we moved into our home in Legacy. We had never built a house before, or owned one, so we were true rookies! From the first time we saw the showhome, to the day we moved in, Trico has been an amazing builder to deal with. Erin and Carmen from the showhomes are amazing ladies, we received the best customer care we could ask for. They never made us feel like we asked too many questions and arranged for us to visit our house as much as we wanted during the process. Even 1yr later they still keep in touch! After we moved in, everything that needed to be fixed (and all fixes were minor) was dealt with quickly and without any questions asked, if we felt it wasn't quite right, it was fixed! (and we were pretty darn picky!!) I know lots of other people who have built houses, and when I hear thier experiences compared to ours, Trico has gone above and beyond with their customer care for sure. Everyone is always surprised that we got a 100 day and 250 day visit, and put that with the number of visits we got before even moving in, we couldn't have asked for more. At times it felt like we were the only ones building a house, that is how much EVERY person we dealt with from Trico genuinely cared about us, our first home, and making sure it was exactly how we wanted it!! A year later, we LOVE, our house and the area of Legacy. Thank-you Trico!
