    New House

    We had always wanted a new house of our own, and we are so glad Trico was able to give us that and more. Up until the end, when we got the keys of the house, everyone was always so kind and helpful even though our English wasn't very good. It is a very good company with very good workers. We are very happy with our house.

    Home builder

    Great home buying experience from start to finish. Trico has been eager to ensure we were happy with our purchase and have done a great job coordinating and executing punchlist fixes. Would highly recommend as a builder.

    New home at Brooklin

    Trico has been by far the best quality built for a new house, that I have bought in Canada yet. Walk through was smooth, only a couple of painting touches. Possession day was good. Now, after having been living in this beautiful, modern, and stylish home, I can say Trico knows how to built awesome and reliable houses

    Excellent experience with Trico!

    Excellent build experience, from sales to design to follow up work! We have been in for a month now and have had a few issues but everything has been addressed quickly by Trico. We have found everyone at Trico very pleasant to deal with and we are extremely pleased with the house and how any problems-even the ones out of their control (appliances)-have been dealt with immediately. We would recommend Trico to anyone wanting to build their dream home!

    Trico built our dream home!

    My wife and I built our dream home through Trico homes and couldnt be happier! Erica and David made the process extremely easy and enjoyable! We have a beautiful home now and love every inch of it! Id definitely recommend Trico and there team!

    New home in Darcy

    We started our purchase in February 2021 we were told the house would be done in 8 months. We moved in one day short of 11 months. During the sale process the area sale guy missed placed paper work he gave us and we had to send him our copies. During the build we had to point out to Trico they had placed our kitchen window 9 inches out of place. We pointed out other framing issues as well. Trico lost 2 area foremen, during our build. We could not get anyone at head office during the build, we found out they moved head office to Mcleod tr, because we had to sit in the lobby for over an hour to get a meeting with the head sales manager. Who left the company shortly after. At possession we had no washer/dryer, no closet organizers and no mirrors in any bathroom. Also we had a clunking noises in our finished basement heat ducks on possession. After 3 visits by the air tech and 2 different service foremen. The Second different warranty lady declared our issue was at acceptable noise limits and indicated we should file a new home warranty claim. Not what i would call an acceptable response from a major home builder. We got our loam in November and Trico did the parging on our home to the loam level. Of course the yard settled 8 inches in the spring. It took 8 more months to get Trico to paint our house trim completed in July 2022. They also finished the garage base parging and touched up the house parging at this time. Be advised once Trico has your money they sales department is not so friendly and head office is near impossible to reach. Stay away from this company! Up date after months of trying to get out ducting noise issues fixed. Alberta New Home Warranty points out that on page 317 of the 340 page warranty guide. Air duct noisy issues are not a warranty issue. So be warned never get Trico to finish your basement roof . Run your heat for a winter so you can fix there poor work.

    New Home

    From booking home to get keys to get in is an exceptional experience given by Trico. Sales manager kept us informed about progress on our project and deliver our home with good quality. Also after delivery, support services is doing great job.

    House constuction

    Construction of the house had a approx. 2 month delay which was understandable with the situation of Covid and other interferences with labor and supply, but overall was a good experience working with Trico staff for a new build.

    Poor after sales service by Trico

    The process and service was good till the move-in but after that it seems like Trico doesn't care once the builder has been paid. I can understand that there may be some delays but atleast Trico can share tentative timelines when external work such as painting, driveway, grading, etc. Will be done. However, no one at Trico is sharing that information. I wonder if its that difficult to look at the project schedule and share the information. Also, during the pre-possesion walk through a number of things were documented to be repaired and to my surprise almost none were fixed at the possesion. Even the painter on the possession day did half of the work.

    New Build - Single Family Detached Home

    My family just bought and took possession of a single family detached home built by Trico Homes Inc. and have received a lot of compliments from our guests. We can vouch that the materials used to build the interior/exterior of the home was higher in quality than we initially thought from looking at drawings/specification documents(feels premium) and certain upgrades to the home really made the difference in helping the home stand-out. Also, the floor plan of the house was cleverly designed making the house appear more roomy and bright than the actual square footage of the house suggests. In terms of trades, we found good overall workmanship from the various trades they used as part of the project. I would recommend anyone thinking of constructing a new build to consider Trico if they do happen to build in the community you're wanting to live in. They build a lot of homes in Calgary/surrounding areas and have good overall reputation for producing a good product and being fair to deal with during the home building process, which are important traits when it comes to selecting a home-builder.
