Our 25+ year-old water heater had to be replaced as a result of a bad leak. To complicate matters, the shut-off valve to the heater turned out to be broken, and our water main valve was stuck, making draining the tank and stopping the leak that was flooding the basement impossible on our own. Dan, the tech who arrived, worked with us to come up with the most cost-effective strategy for fixing the situation, as it happened on Easter Weekend. He offered to just fix the valve while on the off-hours/holiday labour rates so we could stop the flooding, and then to do the full replacement the next day when regular rates would apply. We took him up on it, and he did great work, was upfront about pricing, was friendly and easy-going, and was quick and efficient about everything, too. Highly recommended.
