I wish you had contacted me so I could have clarified this for you. The labour charge was only for the 10 steps (which was actual 11 steps) and the repair was a complimentary service. Your e-mail says "Also included is the picture of the bottom step of the upstairs staircase which needs to be replaced due to cat damage." and your submitted picture shows only a small damaged area on the facing (does not show the entire step). Replacing the entire step and the spindles on the side of your step requires special upholstery which means more labour hours. I hope this explains.
