    Broken Shower Head Arm

    It's not easy to select a trade out of the thousands out there and trust them to work on your home. We chose to contact Public Plumbing based on the reviews we read here on HomeStars. They were very quick to respond, actually the first - on a Sunday evening. Vanessa was great! Very detailed and transparent which we appreciated and decided to schedule the work to be done by Vlad a few days later. Our shower head arm had broken off at the threads inside the wall and we were not able to get the threading out of the pipe ourselves, thus the need for a professional. We are new homeowners and relatively green when it comes to the trades and the costs associated. Vlad showed up on time when he was scheduled which was important and appreciated. He told us what he saw and was very transparent with the process and what he would try to do first and alternatives if that hadn't worked. He was mindful of the costs associated with alternative solutions which we also appreciated very much. He quoted us $275 taxes included if it could be done the easiest way, which we agreed to not knowing what the scope of job entailed. It took him a total of 20 minutes to complete the job successfully (the easy way) and leave the site. The time commitment and work involved left us feeling like we over-paid for the simplicity of the job. Again, we are green homeowners - yet have gone through some thorough renovations - but our experience with plumbing fees are not extensive so we may be misguided with this feeling. Overall I would call on Public Plumbing again for our next need as our experience with Vanessa in scheduling the work was very pleasant and Vlad was professional and skilful so we would trust his work again. We would maybe ask for clarity on their fee structure next time.

    clogged toilet

    I had a stubborn toilet clog and couldn't dislodge the obstruction with a snake auger. I called and spoke to Naz who said they can help us out regardless us not being an valid member of the company . I'm very appreciative of Naz’s great service and help and will definitely call if I need service in the future.

    bathroom repair

    Naz was courteous and professional right from the start. His quote was straight forward and honest. Right after we signed the contract our bathtub seriously leaked into a dining room . Although Naz originally scheduled the renovation for two weeks from the contract sign date, as he had other projects to complete, he really came through. He sent out a plumber immediately to fix the leak so it would not pose any further damage . A week or two later his crew returned to complete the project. The new bathroom looks great and i am very happy with the result . 2 thumbs up for Naz and his crew from Public Plumbing.

    bathtub repair

    That awful moment when you notice the water start to build up in the bathtub. You think to yourself, "It will start draining again, no worries." But the worries do come and the tub does begin to fill with more and more water until your showers are now a bath for your feet and ankles. Of course, everyone you talk to is a plumber. "Try a hanger." "Try drain-o" "Try using an auger and a plunger." We tried all of this remedies to no avail, only furthering our plight by filling up our bathtub with black ooze from the depths of hell. I got off work tonight at 4:30. I called Public Plumbing hoping a professional plumber who is well versed in the intricate cruelties of plumbing could save us. By 6 pm our sink and tub were flowing better than ever. Stop trying to do the plumbing yourself and get Vlad . Guy is honest, fast and efficient with over 30 years of experience

    Bathroom Renovation

    We wanted our master bathroom renovated and Naz and his team (Nick and Alex) did a spectacular job. The work was done in a very timely fashion and very high level of workmanship. Naz was in constant communication with us and kept us well-informed of the progress of the work. They were very punctual and cleaned up afterwards everyday. Would highly recommend their services to anyone and will be sure to use them again.

    blocked kitchen sink

    Less than a months after buying our house, our kitchen sink had slowed to barely usable. Even the smallest amount of dishes would create a back up that would take a while to drain. We tried everything we could think of but nothing seemed to make even the slightest improvement. We called Public Plumbing and were quickly able to get an appointment that matched our work schedule. Vlad called us when he was in route to our house and arrived well within the targeted appointment time. He quickly diagnosed the problem, 100% blockage . Vlad worked diligently to clean the clog; he had to make several passes from different sides of the pipe to restore water flow. if only we knew Public Plumbing before we bought our house! We have dealt with a number of plumbers over the years for various issues here and there, but we never really found one we felt comfortable calling our go-to plumber -- we have now!

    clogged toilet

    Had a clogged toilet and called Public Plumbing. Mike Came out yesterday. Friendly with very reasonable prices. i was happy and will use them again. and will definitelly recommend them to others. Mary

    bathroom reno

    We are very happy with our master bathroom renovation completed by Naz and his crew. They were easy to work with and provided good recommendations to help us achieve the design we wanted. The only problem we encountered was the crew underestimated the amount of tile needed for the project and we were unable to get more of the tile once they realized they needed more. This changed some of the tile design but they came up with a good solution that worked well. Overall, we will definitely use Public Plumbing for further renovations in our home and recommend him to others as well.

    toilet replacement

    Public Plumping provided great service. Vlad replaced my toilet that was having issues and the new one works great! I highly recommend Public Plumping if you are having any plumbing related issues.

    bathroom renovation

    There are no words to describe how happy we are with Naz and his crew's work. They created our dream master bathroom and we are still in disbelief that it is ours! Their work is the absolute best and I would recommend them to anyone. This was our first renovation and I had a lot of apprehension as I'm a worrier. Little did I know, there was nothing to worry about since the reno was in the best hands possible. They completely gutted our bathroom and finished it in three weeks- which was way faster than anyone else I had spoken to said they could do it. We have a toddler, so I was concerned about her being around a construction zone, but again Public Plumbing crew showed me I had no reason to worry. They were immaculate and cleaned up every night and treated our home like it was their own. They are professional, friendly, and best of all do absolutely amazing work! Naz was honest and realistic about what can and cannot be done. They were so reliable and showed up right before 9am and started working immediately until 5 pm and sometimes later. They have a great work ethic and are genuinely good people who want to get the job done right. Don't waste your time interviewing other contractors and companies like I did- call Naz ASAP if you want to get the job done how you want it and done correctly.
