    Basement Bathroom Renovation

    I hired Public Plumbing to renovate my basement bathroom. It was a small bathroom, but had lots of problems and the shower was leaking causing mold, the floor was uneven causing toilet issues etc.. Considering the bathroom was so small, it took a long time to renovate because the shower had to be fully torn out and rebuilt, the floor had to be evened out and they ended up adding about 2 inches of cement to level out the floor. They did a very meticulous job and the bathroom looks stunning! The guys doing the work were so nice and friendly and always on time and cleaned up the work area each day. I was extremely happy with the results and would hire them again for other work.

    Basement sewer checks

    My husband David has a standing 6 mth. appointment to check our basement drains, as we have had 4 major backups in the past. Mike is THE GUY! Always keeps in touch re: if he is running late, always so personable. We are feeling confident that with these checks, we will not suffer the backups again! We are part of a townhouse complex, and the past problems have been beyond our control.

    backwater valve installation

    We had been thinking of having a backwater valve installed, and saw some ads and finally went with Public Plumbing. Mike came out to explain the process and was very knowledgeable and reassuring. The work was done over Christmas by pleasant workers with very little disruption and the inspector came as scheduled. Mike came to check that we were happy and took the payment along with the completed form for the Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program. We have received notice from the city that our application has been received and is being reviewed already.

    Clogged Drain

    Rep (Mike) was very competent and work was completed as expected. It required a dig-out of my drain, in the basement. and replacement of "P" trap with straight drain pipe and backflow stop valve. I would not hesitate to use Public Plumbing again.

    Plumbing

    I had an emergency plumbing problem. Mike came to my home the same day I called within the hour. This was just before Christmas, so I thought the work wouldn't be done until after the holidays. They showed up and finished the job on Christmas Eve. Amazing Company. I will be forever grateful.

    Kitchen Drain Pipe Replacement Underground

    I was thoroughly impressed with those I dealt with. I met with Mike for an initial consultation and estimate. Their estimate was very reasonable and Mike was very knowledgeable, friendly and provided me with all the options I had available to me. We had a clogged pipe under our basement floor that led from the kitchen. Over years and previous ownerships the pipe was badly clogged. We had another company snake it but that didn't do much. Mike and his team (Yuri and another (sorry don't recall his name) were excellent. Yuri and his partner did the drilling, digging and replacing and were great and timely. They replaced 8 feet of pipe and added a 4 inch opening for future scoping and possible cleaning (although I don't think that will need to be done after this as they did a great job). They cemented the floor again and left it as clean and debris free as much as possible and would be expected. Mike came back to scope the pipe (camera) and all had to do a bit more snaking for a clog that was even more deeper in. He cleared it up and then put in the camera again to ensure all was clear. I have already recommended Mike to others and would do the same again. It's not always easy to find a good, reliable and reasonable plumbing service - but I found all three in one.

    Broken pipe causing back up

    Late on the night of my 80th birthday the downstairs toilet blocked, I partially cleared it at the clean out in the rec.room but needed a plumber.P.P. was recommended by a friend and they arrived within the hour on Sat. morning.With their camera they located a broken pipe under the house footings. The blockage was cleared and their crew arrived on Monday morning as promised.Repairs were made and a backflow valve installed. They did an excellent job of cementing and cleaning up.     plumbing

    The excess drain pipe was not fitted well by the builder when I bought the house and didn't notice until years later when my brother filled up the tub and had a bath...we tend to take showers only : ) The next day the ceiling on the main floor was leaking water all over the couch. I called Walter at Public Plumbing who sent Vlad to look into it. Vlad was amazing. He kept the area clean and answered all of my questions so I knew what he was doing to prevent the leak in the future. I have heard horror stories of plumbers but this was a great experience. It was a reasonable price and I now have piece of mind. I don't want to see them again myself, for obvious reasons, but I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends! Thanks Vlad! : )

    cold water faucet repair

    Great work by Public Plumbing professionals again. Service was professional, quick, and clean. I asked a lot of questions and I was happy with the time that was spent with me on answering them. I have full confidence in Public Plumbing's work and will call them again when I need help.

    Many projects

    we have used Public Plumbing for several projects ranging from simple matters to digging down and replacing the pipes in the front of our house as we had clogged tree routes, and determine the source of a bad smell and fixing it in one of our rentals. They are very helpful and the fee is always fair. Warren
