    replacement of bidet and sump pump

    We needed to have the sump pump and piping replaced and also a new bidet installed and a new hand shower. We called Public Plumbing to come in for an estimate. We chose them because of their good reputation. The plumber came on time and left us with a very detailed estimate. We decided to go ahead with the work and made an appointment. Again, the plumber came on time and did not make us wait which is our usual experience. There was a lot of work to complete and it was all completed the same day. A couple of extra things came up while completing the work we had agreed to and these were all also completed the same day. The plumber was very efficient and completed the work in a very professional manner. The final bill was in accordance with the estimate that we were provided with and there were no extra charges. We are very pleased with Public Plumbing and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others

    Sump Pump installed

    In early December we made a decision to have a sump pump installed. Mike came out and gave us a quote and we scheduled the appointment. He and his crew arrived on time and were extremely professional. They cleaned up so well when they were done, that had we not been there to see the work in progress we might have thought they hadn't come at all. A week after the work was completed, Mike returned to explain all that had been done. He even did the paper work to apply for the City of Toroto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program. We would highly recommend this company and will certainly call on them again, if the need arises, in the future.

    Exceptional customer service by Public Plumbing

    The quality of service that I received from Public Plumbing was fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional, for a fair price. Public Plumbing was honest & upfront about all of the details, from start date to final price. They are reliable, which is hard to come across these days. They are also very clean & tidy- no cleanup required on my behalf when the work was completed. I would definitely recommend Public Plumbing to anyone who is looking for a job well done by professionals who keep to their word and truly value their customers. The standout piece was their follow up service & willingness to ensure a thorough and proper job completed.

    Emergency Service

    We had a blockage in our main drain where it leaves the house. We called Public Plumbing and they had a technician here in about an hour. He diagnosed the issue, wrote us a very satisfactory estimate, had to go away to get a part, returned quickly and had the problem solved in less than another hour. His repairs included an access to allow clearing any subsequent blockages without the need for additional parts. He was friendly and courteous, explained the problem and the required work, outlined the costs in detail and thoroughly cleaned up after his work. We were very satisfied in our experience with Public Plumbing. If we had another plumbing problem, we'd call them again in an instant and we sincerely recommend them.

    Back water valve installation

    I had an issue with my backwater valve installation and Public Plumbing contacted me to rectify the issue and reimbursed me a portion for the issue. I was happy with how they followed up and dealt with the issue.

    Installation of Back Flow Valve

    In summer of 2014 I experienced a flood in my basement. After hearing about the back flow valve and the City of Toronto subsidy program, I called Public Plumbing for a consultation and estimate. The technician came promptly and explained what was involved. I didn't have a lot of time available to be home, when I asked if they could start soon, he agreed to start the coming weekend. Public Plumbing began the work, arranged for the city inspection and completed the work within a few days. Everything went smoothly and I was very satisfied with the whole process.

    Kitchen tap

    We have used this company several times with great results. I called this Christmas Eve morning, my kitchen tap had hardly any hot water coming out. He came at 5pm and was able to fix my kitchen tap problem. Great service, dependable. Would not call anyone else.

    Install new toilet, remove and install dishwashers

    Kudos to Public Plumbing. About a year and a half ago, Public Plumbing installed a backflow valve to prevent sewer backups and basement flooding. They did an excellent job. We have since called on Vlad from Public Plumbing to install a new toilet and to remove and install a dishwasher. We are very pleased with all the work done by this company and are happy to recommend them highly! We would certainly call them in future for any plumbing needs.

    Backwater Valve Installation

    I used Public Plumbing to install a backwater valve. They provided a detailed quote, got the permit and completed the work within three weeks. I am completely satisfied and would recommend Public Plumbing.

    Excellent Excavation Project Done Right!

    Excavation project required to replace clay pipe with PVC in the basement. Done with precision, expert advice, trusted workers. They were so neat, they kept the tiles intact that they removed!
