    Broken Pipe

    This company was great. I made a few calls when I noticed essentially a flood in our basement. Difficult finding someone for today- and Public also said they where very busy- but they would try. An hour later they sent Phil. He was excellent. Clearly knowledgeable. He took his time to diagnosis the problem- and proceeded in a very efficient way, He also gave me good advise on preventing similar problems in the future.

    Frozen pipe

    Our basement wasn't getting hot water into the laundry room and bathroom. The guys came by, used their high-powered thawing machine, and the problem resolved itself. I liked the crewmen: both were friendly and positive and were on top of what they were doing.

    Repair of Burst Pipe

    Public Plumbing was the only company out of 5 calls I made who could come for an emergency visit after my pipe burst this weekend. Vlad returned my call within 30 minutes of being paged, and arrived within 1-2 hours. He was very friendly, efficient, and made recommendations for the immediate solution as well as future options that would prevent the problem from happening again. After speaking with the insurance adjuster, I don't believe this was the "best" price I could have paid, but since it was a weekend, and extremely short notice, I'm happy with the service provided and the recommendations made by Vlad, and would recommend this company to others.

    Kitchen sink backup

    Our kitchen sink backed up on the family day holiday, one of the coldest days of the year. Public Plumbing was the second plumber I called and was I ever so glad I went with them. I got a call back from Mike within 15 mins after calling their office. Mike was very professional, polite and helpful. He arrived at our house within two hours. His assessment was easy to understand and he clearly explained the fee before any work was started. Most importantly he was able to clear the frozen pipe in 30 mins at a reasonable cost. He was very patient with our questions on other plumbing concerns and he is definitely our first choice for future projects.

    Main Sanitary Line Backed - Up

    Had the main sanitary line back up. Called Public Plumbing based on reviews from HomeStars. Was not disappointed! Received a call from Mike within short order of placing my initial call. Attended the house well within the anticipated 30 minutes ETA. Was pleasant, friendly, and very knowledgeable. BONUS: he was very comfortable and relaxed around the family dog! Got straight down to work, explained what needed to be done in layman's terms, and got it done. Also made some excellent suggestions for future consideration. Would not hesitate to call again for any future plumbing requirements. Made my weekend!

    install new toilet

    high end toilet installed in powder room, took away old toilet. met quoted price, cleaned up after install, no mess. excellent recommendation on model, make. would have been nice if labels were removed before install. friendly service

    Plumbing Repairs

    Public Plumbing provided an estimate for minor plumbing repairs but before the work could be done, we had a pipe freeze and subsequently burst. Public Plumbing was very responsive to our phone calls and were quick to do the repairs needed .

    Fixed some leaking pipes

    Kitchen faucet was leaking. Public Plumbing was very responsive and Nick came to our house promptly. I appreciated the free estimate approach (not offered by all suppliers) and getting a fixed fee quote as opposed to time-based. I would definitely use Public Plumbing again. High praise to Nick!

    Replace pipes in laundry, rough in powder room

    I had public plumbing come to replace some hack plumbing we had inherited in our century old home. They completely upgraded our laundry room plumbing and roughed in a powder room for us. They were very professional and easy to deal with, price was competitive with others and we are pleased with the quality of the work, the cleanup afterwards and the followup we received. We would use them again.

    Shutoff Valve replacement

    Philip showed up at the exact time they said he will be. completed the job in time to my satisfaction. The plumber was available within an hour notice, price was competitive with the rest of the companies quote, worth every dollar. Philip's experience in his field reflected in the work he performed and the way he carried himself. Thank you for a job well done and have no problems in recommending this company to anyone. If anyone gets Philip it will be a bonus.
