    Plumbing

    The main drain in my home backed up. I called several companies and most were very busy and told me they could not come until the following day. This was horrible news for me because I couldn't use the water in the house until the drain was cleared (or the basement would flood). Public Plumbing sent a guy (Nick) over within two hours. He cleared the drain. He also sent another fellow (Mike) over the next day to camera the drain so that we would know what the cause was and could properly rectify the problem. Both guys gave me their cell numbers in case I needed to contact them directly and they called me to follow-up the following day. The Service was excellent. I will always call them when I have a problem.

    back water valve

    I am very happy with the service that Public Plumbing provided for me. I have never seen such honest person like Naz, he was so nice and upfront about getting the job done as soon as possible. he went out of his way to have the job done Asap.     Clay sewer pipe replacement

    I highly recommend Public Plumbing. We needed to have the old clay sewer pipes under our house replaced. The Public Plumbing team were quick, efficient and very professional and accommodating. They took the time to explain the situation to us and outlined all of our options so that we could make the best decision. They completed the work in less time than expected and the work site was always clean at the end of each day and at the end of the job. I highly recommend Public Plumbing and would use them again.

    Sump pump lead pipe

    They were awesome! Quick and professional. We needed the work done fast and they delivered on cost and on time. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for good work.

    Bathroom Renovation

    I contracted Public Plumbing in the GTA to do a tub transition for my parents in their new seniors' apartment. After doing some research, I had contacted several contractors for estimates. My parents had a tight timeline due to the closing of their house, and wanted everything done within 30 days. As this was just before Christmas, some contractors were hesitant to commit. When I contacted Andy at Public Plumbing, he had no problem with our timeframe and his quote was comparable to the other contractors I contacted. After I checked out their BBB rating and Homestars reviews, my parents accepted his quote. During the project, Andy was accessible, always returning my calls and texts promptly, and when my parents dropped in unannounced to view the progress, his workers were always polite. The project was professionally completed on time and on budget, and the apartment was left in spotless condition. We were all very pleased with the results. The tub was replaced with a beautiful shower with a custom sliding glass door, the floor was re-tiled as well as the tub, and the toilet, medicine cabinet, and light fixture were replaced. All of the finishings were of high quality. I would definitely recommend this company for this type of project.

    Drain Inspection

    Naz certainly bailed me out at the last minute! Real Estate deal was a few days away from closing and neighbour tried to sabotage by telling purchaser there was a leaking drain under our joint walkway. Naz responded immediately. Confirmed there was no piping or drain under walkway and that all my plumbing under my house was functioning, no leaks and not affecting next door property whatsoever. He had to scope the drain from inside the house through a toilet which he did while Purchaser and her plumber watched. Nick came promptly and re-set the toilet. I fully recommend Public Plumbing. I have used them for waterproofing twice in the past and been totally satisfied. Highly recommended for professionalism, promptness and honesty. I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Public Plumbing!

    plumbing

    We called Public Plumbing on a Sunday and they were happy to come by but offered us a discount if we could wait until Monday morning. They were prompt, professional and friendly! We highly recommend them.

    Kitchen sink clogged

    I was having trouble with a clogged kitchen sink so I called a couple of other companies with great reviews in HomeStars. It seemed they were not interested in a small job so they would just not book me in right away and just keep me waiting, which was really frustrating. I called Public Plumbing and they sent someone right away. The technician who came was very professional; explained everything over the phone and in writing, and my sink was fixed. I was impressed by the level of customer service. I am recommending the company to my friends and will be calling them for future plumbing needs.

    Back water valve installation

    I recently had a back water valve installed in my Mississauga home. My experience dealing with Public Plumbing was excellent. I initially dealt with Mike, who explained everything in great detail.I was pleased with the price quoted and the date when the project would be started and finished.. The installers arrived at the promised time finished the in a very professional manner with everything left neat and tidy. Mike arrived the next day with his camera and showed that my drains were completely clear. I would highly recommend Public Plumbing, they say what they will do and they do what the say.

    Laundry/powder Room

    We would like to express of appreciation to Public Plumbing and especially Phill for coming out on his Saturday Off Day for an emergency leak. We were having our Laundry Room renovated and the plumbing was re-routed by the General contractors plumber. Not only was the solder job not effective leading to the leak but the re-routing of the plumbing positioned the Shut Off Valves behind the washing machine with a counter running across the top of the washer and dryer. Phil pointed out if you had to get at the valves in. An emergency especially during the day when he wife was home alone, she might not be able to pull out that heavy machine to get to the valves. He suggested to run the plumbing into the cabinet under the sink beside the washer for fast access. I called my contractor told him about the leak and re-routing and he said to have Phil complete the work and send the bills and he would deal with his plumber. All the work was professionally done and tested for leaks and we are happy to have found Phill for future work.
