    Drainage

    Work done very well and in good time which was of the essence. Very good to work with, explaining all the issues in simple terms. Left everything neat and tidy afterwards.

    Drain Snake

    Mike came out quickly to inspect the basement drain I had that was filling up with water and not draining correctly. Although I wanted to get a few quotes, he was adament about doing the work. He completed the work quickly and efficiently and gave me an idea of why the drain may not be doing it's job. For future jobs I have called and they haven't been as forthcoming as they could be with following up; only downfall of their services.

    Leak from upstairs bathroom

    Nick arrived ahead of schedule. Diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in under an hour. He had to cut out some sheet rock from the ceiling below this bathroom to expose the problem, but we're delighted to have this fixed. I highly recommend Nick and Public Plumbing!

    Water Line

    My fiance and i just bought a house in East York back in June. When we got news that the city is replacing the water meter, we got a water meter guy to come in and replace the meter. What we didn't know is that our water line was so old and galvanized that the company was not able to replace the meter. So what they recommended us to do was to replace the water line first. Mike- from public plumbing came in and did the inspection and gave us an approximate cost. We looked around at other plumbing company's but Mike at Public Plumbing turned out to be the most trust worthy and honest. Mike and his crew came in and replaced the water line and let me tell you they did the cleanest job ever. They were professional and took the extra step ( because they had to take out part of our lawn they laid top soil after they finished the job). I highly recommend them.

    Backwater valve, sump pump

    These are true professionals. Naz and his team promised to be on time and they were on time and within budget. The rebate form for the backwater valve was done for me. All I had to do was send it in. I highly recommend Public Plumbing!

    back flow valve, sump pump and replacement plumbing in basement

    Naz and his crew were punctual and professional. They worked extremely hard and cleaned up after their work. Naz walked me through the process to get a rebate from the City for the back flow valve and the sump pump. So my total cost will actually be about $7000.00 rather than $10000.00

    PLUMBING

    Public plumbing came to the rescue when a sewer pipe broke at our home in Markham. Mike was very professional and a man of his word. He arranged a crew that was likewise very professional and fixed the problem the next day. We highly recommend this company. Paul.

    Unclog drain and repair clay pipe

    We called Public Plumbing to unclog our toilet in the process they scoped (not sure if this is the right term but I'm a nurse and that's what I call it :)) our pipes and found a broken clay pipe directly outside of the home. They came back to fix it and both my husband and I were impressed with the work! They were as careful as possible with the plants and they all survived and are currently thriving (naturally,they can't guarantee that the plants will survive.) You would never know that any part of our garden had been disturbed! They also installed a clean out. Mike was super to work with and his team arrived on time and completed the work on schedule. We have already recommended this company to my husband's co-worker! The approximate cost includes the cost of fixing the toilet as well as the repair of the clay pipe.

    waterproofing

    Public Plumbing recently completed (May 2013) waterproofing on two sides of our Etobicoke home. All of the work was carefully hand dug by a wonderful crew from Public Plumbing. Our weeping tiles were cracked and had large tree roots in the tiles. The work was excellent and professionally executed. We would HIGHLY recommend Public Plumbing to anyone who wants assurance that there home will be protected in the future from any water damage by a company who has the expertise.

    Drain repair after storm sewer backup

    After a big thunderstorm, my basement floor drains backed up and the basement flooded. I called Public Plumbing, they returned my call within 10 minutes and Mike came over within the hour. He put a camera in the drain to inspect it and found a tree root was partially blocking the trap. Mike showed me the problem on the screen and clearly explained everything that needed to be done to fix it. The drains were cleared and the next day a new trap was installed as well as two new clean outs. The crew who came to do the work were very neat and tidy. They carefully removed my stairs and also took care not to damage my garden. They hosed everything down and when they were finished it looked like they were never even here at all! It is so hard to find a reputable drain company that won't try to talk you into thousands of dollars of work. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Public Plumbing to anyone who needs drain repairs done promptly and for a reasonable price. Thanks Mike!!
