Several years ago, I hired A & A to re-do my front step(s) with stone (tile) and a large bottom landing. The job looked fantastic and was completed without any issues. Unfortunately, the area I live in has a high water table, and the ground really freezes up and expands- usually in February. As a result of the freezing, the bottom risers on the bottom stair(s) fall off, almost every spring. This is where A & A blows every company out of the water when it comes to customer service. Each and every year since the install and/or the problems with the risers started, they have re-attended my address and re-installed the risers without ever making the comment," Your warranty has expired." I have never been charged for any service and/or product replacement!!!!! That is a customer service standard that I have yet to see anywhere- especially in the trades. This summer they fixed the bottom risers again, and the job was super clear looking. Plus, they may have solved the problem this time around. In addition, because their strong customer service commitment and work ethic, I hired them to fix a retaining wall in my backyard, which consisted of armour stone. Their workers did a fantastic job. The standards are very high. I highly recommend A & A !!!!!

We needed to have our existing chimney replaced and we found A&A on Home stars. They did an excellent job replacing the chimney and we receive many compliments on it. We also had them do tuck pointing and repair the parging over the stone at the base of our house. I became discoloured and they came back and fixed it with no problems. Much appreciated.

We had a porch done by Patterned Concrete over 15 years ago, topped with natural stone. The natural stone has been repaired once before but after 3 years needed further repairs and work plus some additional work around the porch area. From Hayden who came out to do the assessment to Joe who coordinated and Tara who came to do the initial work A&A Masonry was outstanding - professional and high quality work. We had minor incident after the work was done and after a call to Joe, Jon came by to do the repair and just did an awesome job - responding quickly and taking care of things. Excellent work and a great team that stands behind what they do. Thank you Joe, Tara and Jon!

While preparing our newly-purchased home for floor and kitchen installation, our contractor discovered water damage along the back and front walls. Upon further inspection, he found that water was coming into the back wall through a hole in the bricks from a poorly-installed light fixture, and had completely rotted through one section. He was unable to determine the source of the leak in the front. With interior work halted and our move-in date looming, we called A&A Masonry in a panic, and received excellent service from the start of the process. Greg very quickly gave us an estimate for removing/replacing the damaged bricks in the back and replacing the rotted plywood, and repointing bricks in the front. With the project manager Joe, he was able to book in our project sooner than we could have hoped. Both men were always easy to get a hold of and kept us informed--for anxious first-time renovators, this was very much appreciated. When we arrived on site that day, Ronaldo and his team were already starting work ahead of schedule, and completed it that evening! They were not only fast and efficient, but meticulous, and our bricks were perfectly matched. We had additional work completed by Jonathan the following day, who went above and beyond the scope of work, and did a wonderful job. We feel so lucky that a company with such high standards as A&A Masonry was able to take on our urgent project. They took a disastrous situation and turned it around. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would!

A&A did a great job. They met all their time lines. Gustavo and his crew were amazing and the neighbourhood children watched in amazement as the crew moved the stone into place thanks!

A&A expeditiously assisted with shifted flagstones and tuck pointing. Rene was punctual and hardworking. I was impressed with the final work product. I will be using A&A for some further outdoir work in the future.

A & A Masonry installed concrete steps down the slope outside of my house. From the initial estimate appointment to completion of the job I was impressed with their professionalism and standard of work. Jose and his team worked very hard for a week in hot and humid weather. He made suggestions and improvements to the original plan and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished steps. I now have safe and easy access to my back garden. Thank you so much to Jose and his team and all at A & A Masonry.

The company is coming back to fix the issue. They explained their solution and they talked about how they will resolve this job. They said that silica sand traction will be sufficient for the winter. It was mentioned that traction with horizontal lines on the recemented surface is not adequate as it will wear away.

Very professional company with timely site visit, job estimate, scheduling and completion. For the chimney rebuild the bricks matched perfectly for our 37 year old home. In addition to the rebuild the crew ground out some grouting on the brick faced front entrance landing and replaced it to match the old grouting. Job well done Ronaldo!
