    Masonry

A&A were quick to reply to my inquiry. A sales person came, took lots of photos and talked me through the work he would recommend- he could have probably talked me into more than I needed, but he didn't. I also chatted with the actual mason, Renee. After reviewing the photos, he was able to explain that I didn't need an electrician to move the lines that were a possible concern as he was confident he could work around them. This saved me lots of $$. The work was well done and professional. Turns out Renee is a 2nd generation mason. He was super respectful and did a great job. I highly recommend using for him to do your work.

    Stone work under bay window

I was very satisfied with the stonework A&A did. Service was friendly and efficient. There was some delay in starting the job due to receiving the right stone but once started the work was all done well and quickly.

    Parapet rebuilt

These guys not only performed an excellent job but they were very professional and friendly. These are some of the things that impress me about your crew and now your company. 1) Acted professionally. 2) Let me know exactly what they will be doing. 3) These guys were very hard working and were always moving, cleaning up, preparing for the next stage of the project. example, while one or two is demolishing and moving the old bricks down from the 3rd floor roof, the other two were moving the new bricks up to the 3rd floor for the next stage,,, then they start with mixing the mortar. etc.i,. 4) They meant business the 2 days they were here, no small talk... just work work work. 5) they took only 1 break a day, and only when they needed more material, they took their lunch break. 6) You can tell how serious these guys take their jobs, by how smoothly they worked together, absolutely no time was wasted. 7) Once the job was finished, they did and outstanding job in cleaning up and putting back in place all the things they had to move to build the scaffolding. 8) These guys left me with a very pleasant experience, that your company not only produce excellent results, (work) but your employees .seems to be happy working for A&A Masonry by their attitude and Customer Service they provided. I do not easily give out praises or recommendation, but have absolutely no trouble in this case. You have a first class company, with first class workmanship and employees, You get 11 stars out of 10. I am very, very pleased with the work and customer service you provided. Thanks Nick..

    FRONT PORCH

MY FRONT PORCH STEPS HAD BEEN COVERED WITH FLAGSTONE OVER 10 YEARS AGO. THE FLAGSTONE WAS SEPARATING FROM THE PORCH UNDERNEATH. JUAN CAME AND REMOVED THE OLD FLAGSTONE AND USED A BEAUTIFUL 2 INCH THICK STONE ON EACH STEP. LOOKS BEAUTIFUL AND STURDY. GREAT WORK, LEFT THE SITE AS CLEAN AS BEFORE.

    Front porch and concrete steps

We hired A & A Masonry to remove and replace our front concrete steps, resurface our porch and new concrete steps with natural stone and also to parge the lower brick portion of the porch. We also had the joints and edges of our window sills tuckpointed and they filled in an old milk box with matched brick in the back of our house. Bill came to give us an estimate for the job and gave us good professional advice and options. Moses and his crew arrived on time and ready to work and finished the job on time as promised. They were professional, skilled and friendly and did excellent work. We are very pleased with their work.

    Chimney Replacement

A&A Masonry did a terrific job removing the old chimney and building the new one. Moises and his coworker did great work and cleaned everything up after the project. The work was done quickly within days of Bill visiting me and writing up a quote. I am extremely happy with the final product. I have had work done by A&A Masonry before and they are the only company I will call for any future brick work.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Susan! Moises has definitely proven himself to be an excellent, multi-talented mason. --Andy

    Garage brick tuckpointing

The part of the back of our single garage brick wall at and below grade was replaced by Joe and his A&A crew after the original brick had begun to break up. At his suggestion the below grade portion was replaced with more durable concrete bricks instead of clay bricks. A small number of ground level bricks at the side of our 1950's house were also replaced. The crew did excellent work and cleaned up afterwards..

Limestone Sills, tuck pointing of cracks.

I had the standard bricks turned sideways for window sills. During driving rainstorms some of them leaked through to the drywall (now I have to fix the drywall). Plus I've needed to do some tuck-pointing for a while. I agreed to the quote from Bill and within 2 weeks Joe and Kyle were working on my house. These guys were great. Very professional, they showed up on time explained what they will do. The job was completed on time with no issues. I'm very pleased with the work.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Ross! I'll pass this on to Joe & Kyle. --Andy

    Front Steps Tuckpointing / parging

Finding someone to do the tuckpointing was proving difficult until I found the site by chance and started looking through the reviews. We had several steps reset and the side of the house parged. Bill arrived on time to give us the estimate and Rene arrived when scheduled to do the work. Rene did a impeccable job! I would highly recommend this firm.

Thanks Robin! Rene is the newest member of our team and has proven to be up to our standards. --Andy
